Quite honestly, I didn't know how to title this. Essentially, I'm actually interested in hearing about if anyone's Sun's house showed up a lot in their childhood or when they were growing up.

How do you think your Sun's House has innately manifested in you as a person?

I've just been looking back on my childhood a bit lately and noticed how strongly my 8th house Sun shows through. Now this could be partly because of how Pluto is placed in my chart too, however I'm not certain.

I plan to elaborate on as to how I believe it manifested in my next post.

Of course I'm sure there will be certain variances in different generations as we all probably had access to different things to put our energy into when we were younger.

Sun in the first house conjunct ascendant - a theme of individuality.

Sabian symbol:

TWO CHINESE MEN TALKING CHINESE IN A WESTERN CROWD

This Symbol implies being able to find someone to communicate with, even when you’re in what might feel like alien territory. You may feel that you are often surrounded by people who don’t understand you or even suspect your ways of doing things or your motives. Finding someone of like mind or feeling will help you feel more comfortable and secure. Thinking and speaking in your native tongue or a language that reflects your thoughts and beliefs will bring greater ease and comfort. Sharing mutual thoughts can help transcend feelings of alienation and can lead to new understanding. Transcending feelings of alienation. Having a specialized language that doesn't communicate with everyone. Having a completely different mindset. Interpretations.

The Caution: Not adapting to the world. Being with people who don't share philosophies or understanding. Not communicating on your own level. Judging others as different. - http://sabiansymbols.com/symbol-lookup/

Well, I just described my personality type in the Meyers Briggs thread as lonely, different in an alienating way, and not being able to relate to many, so yeah... It all definitely resonates. My way of speaking is different, lots of metaphor or random associations only another intuitive can interpret.

I am a Cancer Sun in the 3rd house, but a few degrees before the 4th house, so I think I share both house traits. Venus and IC also conjunct the Sun.

I was a very shy, highly sensitive child that loved joking around and playing with friends. I used to love the idea of role playing, anything that used my imagination. A very prominent feature of Cancerian and 4th house traits is the love of family, and I did cherish the thought of being a mother and having children of my own through role playing.

However, now that I'm older I noticed I'm becoming more and more like my 9th house Capricorn North Node that is conjunct my MC. The idea of family is not a top priority for me and my career has become my new "baby" per se. My goal in life is to focus on becoming something for myself and not settling down yet until I achieve that goal. Funny how things change when you get older.

I am a Sag Sun in 1st house (conjunct Mercury).

I am the eldest child, HOWEVER when I was a few months old my parents took my aunt in (who was 8 years at the time, and her father was working shifts, her mother was dead, so she needed someone to look after her).

I`ve had a very happy childhood, even though there might have been some unusual things about it. Not only my aunt is sort of my elder sister this way, but my brother, who was born 2 years after me, has the Down syndrome, and then I have another brother who is 8 years younger than me.
We`ve always had tight connections to our grandparents, too, sharing a house with them (paternal grandparents this time; until I was 5 we lived near to the maternal grandfather).

I don´t know, but I cannot complain about anything. I was loved, cared for, though not pampered, there were a lot of discussions (still are!) about books, education, social issues, life-philosophy and choices etc. in my home.

I was allowed to make my own decisions with whom I wanted to play (or not!), was given enough free time (so no forced piano lessons or similiar things for me, though I later opted to learn electric piano), though if I chose to learn something, my mom insisted I would see it through to the end. I was allowed to be stupid/ lacking in intelligence (which actually was not the case), but laziness was a big NONONO.

Well I guess I can`t really complain about anything. Though it means that the connection to my family is very close, which can be a a good thing and yet a bad thing at the same time occasionally.

Sun in 9th house conjunct Lilith.

Since I was a kid I was always interested in other languages, for whatever reason I've been attracted to different nationalities type of men, from one continent to the other, I've tried to learn different languages but Lilith so close to the sun make me feel not appreciated by all those men, as in culture plays a big role and I feel they don't recognize that.
