Topic: Who would be attracted to gemini mars (men)?

I find myself time and time again, to really feel physically attracted to gemini mars (men).... I really don't get it actually, cause I have nothing in gemini in my own chart, and almost no air, and no fire at all...My chart is heavily water and earth-influenced and my mars is in virgo (in 4th house). Venus in scorpio 5th house! I just noticed that many many gemini men are tall, slim and have these "elf-like" features which I really adore... and I really also like that they are intellectual, smart, funny and quick-witted. I can always joke with them, and I always have a great intellectual chemistry with them as well... when I look back on earlier flirts, a huge bunch of them got gemini mars apparently lol! So should I start to look at something else in the chart, than just my venus or mars to explain why I'm so attracted to gemini mars people? The very only thing I could think about is my Libra mercury (9 degrees) which very often forms a trine with gemini mars. And being a virgo sun, my mercury is my chart ruler, so these"mercurial" traits really get me interested IP: Logged |

Sometimes we are attracted to what we lack in our own chart. For example my chart has no water, yet I have always been attracted to water-heavy guys.IP: Logged |

good question... In general I also find gemini moons and gemini venus a bit hot or at least interesting... but not as much as gemini mars My asc is in cancer... everything gemini falls in my 12th house or very late 11th house IP: Logged |

thats a good point! I really admire gemini traits, but also airy traits in general... I like that they are so social, talkative, witty and smart. I wish I was more like that myself, so maybe it is some trait I need to develop within myself further IP: Logged |

Where is Mercury? Its hard to say without looking at the chart.We are often attracted to what we are. That is why the person feels familiar on some level -as that is what we "recognize" we also are. Attraction does not happen if you do not acknowledge a conscious awareness of yourself(or a projection)in another.

I think it may be the Asc/Mars conjunction aspect at play. Their pMars is in conjunction to your nAsc. Explained below quote:

First she wants his Sun/Asc to CONJUNCT her Moon. He gets bonus baby-making points if his Mars conjuncts her Sun or Ascendant. Or, his Sun to her Mars, though this one is quite acrimonious.

In my experience, it's the Virgo/Mercury influence. Whatever you have in Virgo is going to pull you towards Geminis.
I have a Virgo Ascendant, which makes Mercury my Chart ruler. I also happen to have a Stellium of personal planets in Sagittarius, in my 3rd House. My male closest friend has a Stellium in Gemini including his Mars. His mind fascinates me, I never get bored around him. Conversations with him are like food to my soul.IP: Logged |
