Hi all,

My boyfriend was laid off from his job However, he is soon facing a Sun and Mercury transit to his MC? I imagine this is beneficial?? How long do these transits typically last?

The sun moves through About one degree each day, and mercury only takes a little more time to do so. I wouldn't look to these transits for big intense changes. Outer planets usually signal bigger and longer life moments.

For instance, my partner just had the mars/Pluto conjunction in the first degree of his sixth house and he quit his job (a big transformation of his daily life). I got a promotion at work and jupiter has been transiting my first house.

Basically transits to the MC can certainly impel career changes but the whole chart has to be looked at as a whole to determine what the transits mean. IMO.

giving an orb of 4 degrees for the conjunction means the sun would be conjunct it for 8 degrees total which is 8 days. thats still an opportune time to get energy and have a desire to do something. but who knows if that will happen

Sun/Mercury on the Mc could be significant in him being given a public spotlight in some way.

But it is usually a combination of many things.

I had an interview last week when transiting Pluto/Mars conjunct natal Mercury.

Mercury/Uranus opposite transit was conjunct Mars and opposite Mars respectively.

I didn't exactly sell my best side. The triple emphasis on Mars just made me feel extra sensitive.
