Jupiter in the 1st would be similar to a sagittarius rising and you would want to look at jupiter in libra as well. These are the qualiies of what that person would be like. I personally look at vedic astrology , I think it narrows down the charataristic (Nakshatras)

I had dated this guy with saturn in the first conjunct his ascendant western astrology in gemini. Vedic astrology saturn in the sign of rohini, ascendant in mirigresha. His Saturn conjunct my mars and his acendant conjunct my venus... what ended up for the outcome was that we argured like crazy and pushed each others buttons. I am not exatly sure of what our meeting was about other than saturn /mars in synastry means controlled energy. I did read that Saturn wants mars to put this energy in a type of goal? My moon will hit my 6th house in December which means to work towards a goal. I also will be experanceing a jupiter conjunct venus for some time which means abundance and to work towards a goal. I am not sure what is what but I have decided to go back to school. Saturn is also going to be going into my 4th house so it will be interesting to see what the outcome of the next few years will be. I was told it will be an awsome transit for me outside the fact saturn in the 4th could bring up old childhood issues from my past? To me this is ok because I have already worked on those issues. The synastry also presented growth aspect in letting go of old patterns that no longer serve to the higher self. I do belive it was really look at ones ego and to make changes on how each of us dealt with others if the maturity was there to see it. I also relized just how much fear I felt of being hurt and how it impacts my personal relationships. With that knowledge, I can then make changes to handle that energy to become something better which serves the higher self. I hope this helps and honestly , looking at the lessons in relationships has made me able to truly appreciate people that I otherwise would have felt bitter towards. I learn to give up this victom / savior type of feeling and released some pretty heavy old wounds. I find it freeing in that I am more open to love but also loving myself enough to choose the right people, make better descions for myself . I have neptune oppose venus. Lost in love aspect if you ask me. lol
