Organic eating. Animal cruelty. Non tested on animals makeup. Politics. Who are these people? What aspect causes a human to stand firmly for a cause? Why do I rebel against any and all "causes"? IP: Logged |

That's me!I guess it's my Neptune which is all over my chart. I care deeply about any sort of animal/creatures. I do not feel much for people other than kids and elderly. I feel no empathy for people, to be honest. Organic eater here, too. That's my Virgo planets. IP: Logged |

I'm with you Charlie. I don't know what it could be. I'd think the last two houses and signs? 11/12/aqua/pisces I'm not sure. I'll have to look. Mostly where I really push for a cause is at work. I fight for everybody. I fight for us. I speak out and I take action to create change.

I think "collective thinking" makes me claustrophobic. Or a waste of time. Haven't decided which one yet. But I've always wondered why I've never had a cause. Maybe I don't care? But then again, I LOVE animals so why shouldn't I care about animal cruelty for example?? I have an 11H Stellium so why shouldn't I care about collective humanity? Suppressed humans? I just don't want to be labeled into a box of a certain way of thinking. IP: Logged |

I think it depends. I am vegan, but the reason I became one is because I was previously unaware about information that showcased why veganism is beneficial for all sentient beings, the environment, and one's health. I think many people who come across certain information could become vegan, involved in a more healthier way of eating, hold certain political affiliations, etc.But just for statistical information, my big three are Cancer Sun, Pisces Moon, and Aries Ascendant. I also have a 6th house Virgo Jupiter, so I am very cautious about my eating choices and health. I, 90% of the time, cook my meals from scratch at home and do a variant of Ashtanga/Power yoga weekly. In general, I would say my Grand Water Trine of Cancer Mercury, Pisces Moon, and Scorpio Pluto is a large reason why I hold strong beliefs about certain ideas. However, my 12th house Pisces Moon helps me see multiple sides to different beliefs, and sometimes it's difficult to fully hold on to them because I always question myself as to why I should. It drives me crazy sometimes, haha. IP: Logged |

I've always looked to Ceres for food, since it makes sense to me that a Taurus ceres would be the type to indulge in food and love eating it. I love food, and when I am hungry don't even try stopping me, YOU WILL FAIL ------------------ Virgo Ascendant Aquarius Sun in 5th Gemini Moon in 10th Check out my blog ya'll: www.electrodgxtalks.wordpress.com IP: Logged |

I have always said that there is a huge correlation between Virgo and vegetarianism/veganism. I know of many people with Virgo planets who are or have been vegetarian or vegan. I have Mercury, Venus and Mars in Virgo and I was vegetarian for three years. And half the time you hear a famous person being vegetarian or vegan, they have something in Virgo. For me, it was more about the health benefits than the cause. Since Virgo is so health conscious, people with this influence are the most likely to give that life a try, in my opinion. Not all people with Virgo energy, of course. But it is a definite trend. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

It is perfectly normal to be for and not for it too. Why? Because we live based on our surroundings. I'm for it if I can and I will try but if I cannot , I have no problems leaving it at that. I think you are on that boat too, you are aware but live by what you can do. Eating though is what you are putting into your body, so people can be very careful about this. Plus , every year that passes in your life, you may learn some things, you may let some things go. So your beliefs change. Astrologically I have no input on what accounts for this.

I generally have compassion for causes, but realize that it's rather pointless to try to involve myself in every cause I believe in, so I pick a general cause and do what I can for that (let's call it caring for those in need, however you choose to phrase it, including the elderly and infirm, addicted, homeless, etc).Saturn in Cancer/11th h, and Pluto in Libra in 3rd h. They're square, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. My Saturn in 11th is also the apex of a Yod that involves Aquarius Mercury in my 6h (cusp of Dsc), and Sag Neptune in my 5h. So, there's that. I used to go to a lot of protests when I was younger, but I realized that in order to actually live by all of my beliefs I would have to go off and live in a tree or something, so I think I made a conscious decision to just stick with one thing I would do my best to personally contribute to, and encourage others to contribute or think about as well.
Also, my life has been too disorganized and crazy over the past two years to be really buying up the organic food and limiting my use of plastic, etc. But that's my general lifestyle, it doesn't cost me a tremendous amount of energy or time. IP: Logged |

I have Saturn in 11h, as I mentioned, and I'm not a fan of "collective thinking" either, or being much a part of any group. I just sort of do what I do (which consists mainly of working for non-profits for really poor pay, and donating what I can to the cause(s) I stand up for). I would do more volunteer work, but that often includes teaming up with the type of "group" I think you're referring to, so I often just don't. I used to just pick up litter when I was in the mountains, and throw it away, rather than getting involved in some big community project or whatever. That sort of thing. I stand for causes, but I do it in a somewhat solitary fashion. IP: Logged |

I have a friend (although she is never around much) who is a hardcore vegan. Posts all the time about animal cruelty, campaigning for people to turn vegan or vegetarian, won't wear animal tested makeup etc. She is a double Scorpio with a Leo rising. Venus is in Scorpio too. She is lazy with people though. I am trying to clue myself up on make up that is cruelty free because I don't see the point in making animals suffer needlessly for my vanity. That's horrible imo. But I understand its very different when you slaughter an animal for survival (I can't go vegetarian at the moment because my health isn't great and I got pretty ill when I was a veggie...iron deficiency and all. When I have more time and money I must look into doing it properly because it can obviously be done). Having said that, its not a cause, its just how I see things. I don't care what other people do...well I do, but I won't call them out on it. If I ever have a cause, I won't go around trying to get people to follow me. I have my personal planets in the 11H too, and while it may be a humanitarian placement, its also independence. I'm also sick of people telling me I'm wrong though whenever I do voice my opinion on a subject such as animal cruelty. I don't have a cause, and I do agree some people that do can get a bit annoying which is why I too don't like being labelled like you said charlie. I just try and be sensible aha IP: Logged |

I have Pluto in the 11th, or 12th, depending on house system.I used to get a lot more involved in causes, and have been using politics to distract myself from more depressing matters, because this election has had me really ****** off at times. I''m flabbergasted by it all. I also know that I can't help with everything, although when I was younger, I didn't think that way. I remember writing letters, signing petitions, trying to find home for rescue animals, trying to stop animals being sold for medical research (from shelters, or "free to good home" ads). I suppose it depends on how depressed or realistic I'm feeling. My dad thinks that I was born to help animals - to rescue them. IP: Logged |
