Usually the third house is associated with Siblings. Having chiron in Gemini may have influenced you in this way, having to go through a painful part of life in relation to your siblings for they may have caused you a lot of pain (either directly or indirectly, such as the condition he has and such).

You also have Aries on your third house cusp, and this can indicate a troublesome relationship with siblings. Mars on the third (Aries) can be a factor that leads to a lot of fighting with siblings. I don't know if this is true for you, but it may be a factor worth considering. Having the Moon in Gemini can also indicate a close emotional tie to your siblings, which may have increased the possibility of going through a painful situation with them thanks to Chiron in Gemini and the fact that one of the most sensitive points of the chart is in the same sign.

Thank you, Electro DGX!!

There is a lot of unsolved aggression, so Aries in the 3dr House would fit....and my Gemini Moon is so badly aspected by Sun and Neptune...very fitting, too

I totally relate to your pain, I have an older sister which suffers depression and psychosis, and it's very hard for our family, I recently started therapy after she had a breakdown in June.

In my case, I have Venus in the 3rd house in Virgo (in its fall) and someone told me it represents my sister. I also have her Saturn conjunct my Venus exactly.

Hi,

When you have a sibling with challenges,it often forces you to grow up before your time.Because the parents are always so preoccupied with the sibling with difficulties, that you are left to your own devices.

Aries on the cusp of the 3rd and with the ruler Mars in the 11th suggests(on one hand) that you may have had a contentious relationship with siblings.

On the other hand it also suggests that the person felt like they had no siblings or were ill understood by them. As Aries is also where we seek independence in the natal chart i.e to go on our own and be left to our own devices.

Add to this its place in the 11th and I have to ask; "do you have many friends?". As Mars on the 11th suggests that friendships may be hard to come by or can be full of storms.

Add to that Uranus also there and you have someone who either has friends who allow them lots of emotional space or friends that constantly change.

You also have Chiron in Gemini in the 5th which echoes this theme of not being able to "play" or be a child(5th). So this may be where the resentment stems?i.e a childhood that was stolen from you etc.

The 6th house cusp(challenges) is in Gemini (siblings)and the Moon in there too. How was the relationship with Mom? Or more importantly, how nurtured did you feel?

With Moon in the 6th, Venus is widely squaring it which suggests that the "earning" love and attention through being "good","nice" and "accommodating" would have been likely or is a theme.

You felt most loved when you were all these things and putting the needs of your brother way above your own.Which may have translated in you putting the needs of others before your own(Leo is intercepted in the 7th) and Cancer is on the descendant.

Venus-Pluto are conjunct suggesting a need for deep love and affection. The kind that was likely denied to you and left you feeling "hungry" for attention.

Since Venus is the ruler of the 4th, it is likely that its from the parents that this love is wanted. Possibly a feeling that you you wish you could rewind your past and be able to spend that lost time with them?

But what will happen now in your adulthood is that you will feel an awesome need to be babied, nurtured and mothered in your intimate relationships-Venus rules the 4th and conjunct Pluto.

Saturn,Venus and Pluto in the 9th suggests an academic inclination. But with Venus ruling the 4th, the inclination would be to study something related to the early homelife/upbringing.

Perhaps child psychology could be of interest? With Saturn in 9th you could be looking to "rectify" the mistakes of the past and giving them more rationale in order to be better able to understand why your childhood was the way it was?

Having a sibling with autism and its consequently devastating effects on your family, may have you have an insightful opinion on how the family structure is affected by such a challenge.

Moon in Gemini is adept at talking/writing about how they feel and with the sqaure aspect to the Sun in Virgo(8th),great insight is likely.

To support this, Mercury trines Jupiter (12th) in grounded earth signs,so you have the sensitivity and practical approach to speak from your experiences.

It may not be necessary to sell what you write, but it would be therapeutic to put that all down on paper and write/talk about it(Chiron in Gemini squares Mercury in Virgo).

The Moon in Gemini often self soothes through talking about what its is that bothers them and with water signs in 2nd, 6th and the cusp of the 10th, most times you don't do it for the money anyways.

Thank you so much for sharing, PixieMG!
Sending you love and strength for the healing process <3

Sibling Relations are not well researched, psychoanalysis always focuses on the parents...but it's your brother or sister who will stay with you (mostly) till the end of your life...
It has to be considered much more...

My background probably brought me there.
Once I read that 90% of such siblings become therapists or caretaker when they grow up and I was horrified, because it seems to me like a continuation of that self sacrificing process.

So I wanted to take another way with academia...but still it brought me to that topic.

But you are right, my Gemini Moon feels comfortable talking and researching

Don't feel that by being drawn into that related field that you are somehow "regurgitating" the past.

On one end it could be i.e if you are still saying "woes me. I never had a great childhood" etc.

But on the other hand, you could be doing self-healing by coming to understand the clarity and purpose of whom you are(outside of it).

Many times a really tragic and challenging situation can bring us faster clarity on whom we are and what "stuff" we are made up of.

From this experience, sprung clarity on compassion and the realization (hopefully) that having compassion for others doesn't mean that we stop living for ourselves.

Chiron in 5th can be enjoyed and relished from that vantage point.A guilt-free approach to having fun, being playful and carefree.

The Venus-Pluto conjunction is the "hunger" true. And so is the Chiron-Moon connection (through Gemini) in a vicarious way.

But if you go searching to fill that "hunger" from another. It will always feel like what you get is never enough and like it can never really be "profound" in the way you need it to be.

Your Cancer Desc is asking you to be your own hero and give through your own interpretation of what "love" is, out to others.

As you know how much, how deep and how frequently love can be needed. Who is the better giver to give it?

My Mars position is strange, indeed.
I don't feel like a Sag Mars.

Sometimes more Aquarian, sometimes like a Pisces - maybe because Mars is trapped between Neptune and Uranus in the 11th House.

I used to have intense friendships which compensated for the absence of my family.
But there were always break ups, and no continuation.

There is not one friend that stayed with me from childhood. With most of them, indeed I had a "sibling drama" involving jealousy that made us part ways...

Mars-Sun square aspects can suggest a touchy individual who feels they have to "prove" themselves and this can easily translate to a very competitive person or one who has a strong drive towards self realization.

Mars-Sun square often speaks of an independent personality that feels that other people "interfere" with them i.e you are either for me or against me etc.

This makes sense -given your history- as you may frown against any form of suppression because you have been on that boat before and it wasn't much fun.

That is why I suggested that with Uranus in 11th, its is likely that you will feel more comfortable with people who are not emotionally demanding and accept you "as is".
