I was thinking about what in a natal chart would show someone being sensitive to weather and seasonal changes and I theorized about what would indicate it. I probably will post them later. However, I'm curious to see what other people think.

What do you think would make a person sensitive to weather changes and seasonal changes?

@Mergoatsun: I have no idea, but I want to take a stab at this, interesting topic btw.

Well first it depends on the weather/seasonal changes. Is it hot? Cold? Raining? Snowing? Windy?

My theories
The Masculine Signs especially Fire signs feel stifled/repressed during the colder, rainier months/seasons because they are in doors most of time. The masculine signs (Air & Fire Signs) are traditionally extroverted, social, and active. They will probably like when the weather is warm/hot/sunny and where they can go out and have fun.

The Feminine Signs (especially Water signs) feel overstimulated, stressed, and tired during the warmer/drier/sunnier months because they probably like to be more indoors more. The feminine signs (Earth & Water Signs) are traditionally introverted, keep to themselves/social/family circles more and need more routines. They will probably like when the weather is cooler/less hectic because they want to spend more time by themselves/with family.

This is a working theory because everyone is different. I am an Aries, with a mixture of water & air and I like moderate weather and seasons (Fall/Spring). I'm more on the introverted spectrum.

I would say in regards to specific signs that are sensitive to weather changes/seasons I would say.

Capricorn (Saturn, rules bones); bones are more sensitive in the colder months.

Cancer (Moon, the different phrases of the moon can effect them/other people).

Pisces (Neptune/Jupiter, rules feet, naturally empathetic/ sensitive to energy shifts). Colder months make it hard for circulation.

It is important to note that I think all signs are sensitive to weather changes and the seasons in their own way. I also really think it depends on the individual/genetics/culture/environment.

Still working on theory/ideas.

I suspected those signs as well, along with their correlating houses and planets. Like a moon dominant person or a 4th house person.

I think certain aspects could also indicate it too, especially with the moon, neptune, and certain saturn aspects. I really feel like neptune aspecring the luminaries and the ascendant may have something to do it with it as well.

Possibly certain 6th house placements as well that cause poor health, because people that have chronic illnesses are more likely to be affected by the seasonal changes and the weather.

Interesting theory about the feminine and masculine signs though. I am mostly feminine, but I do have some masculine in my chart. As for me, I actually love the snow, it brightens up the dark. I do like the winter (even though the cold messes with my raynauds and fibro), I just find the winter months peaceful. I dont like it when the snow stays past April though (I'm from Michigan, we get a lot of snow). I also don't like late fall because of how dark and bare it looks, with the cold. Also my vitamin D levels drop so depression hits me. I do like Summer for the most part, except on the miserably hot days. So I don't know haha

I'm going to say Taurus. Taurus has the whole Mother Earth thing going on.

ETA: Yeah...my answer isn't terribly exciting or elaborated. Sorry

I whould tend to agree. Althought fire signs can take part in winter or inclement activities they are suppresed none the less.

Its intresting you say that, I have an almost balanced chart and I whould perfer fall/spring as its equilibrium, not to cold and not to warm.

When I was younger I perfered summer, since I was outdoors a lot. But now I've become a lot more introverted.

My Moon in 4th is pretty sensitive to weather/seasonal changes. Especially the rain, or snow, or cold. I hate warm/hot weather. I would be just fine living somewhere with a long winter and short summer.

I have six planets in earth signs - 3 in Virgo, 3 in Capricorn. I always get strangely nostalgic and sad during the transition from summer to fall/autumn and then again from fall/autumn to winter. The transition from winter to early spring makes me feel odd and out of place, too. But then once I've adjusted to it, I'm fine. (Except when it gets uncomfortably warm or hot outside.)

I've noticed that my mother (Cap Sun, Cancer rising) deals with seasons much the same way.

No quoting please.

I have all feminine signs in my chart except for Saturn and my Ascendant, and I prefer cooler seasons like Fall and Winter. (However, since I'm from California, anything below 65 is freezing for me, so it can't be anything too dramatically cold. )

I have 3 personal planets in Cancer and a 12th house Pisces Moon. The Pisces description is spot on for me. I have to wear socks all the time, even in summer sometimes because I have Raynaud's syndrome (it sounds so much worse than what it really is, haha). The symptoms are that my feet are almost always cold due to poor circulation and my toes sometimes turn either a bluish, white, or red color depending on how cold it is while at the same time quite painful too. So as long as I have warm socks or slippers to wear indoors, I'm good.

I also love the Fall/Winter seasonal atmosphere too. It brings friends and family closer together.
