If Venus/Mars are in Aries/Leo,they become the very essence of identity. Whereas if Scorpio is there,they are "life-affirming" and can be a profound experience.

These people have to be flexible,open,adept and skilled in finding creative ways and opportunities to attain their object of desire.

When this skill is developed,they become more adept (even "psychic")at sensing the nuances and more subtle patterns of mating i.e when to go, when to pull back. When to make a move and when to take it slow etc.

At times,it can suggests an unusual taste or proclivity towards the eccentric or someone with fetishes.But one has to also consider the ruler of the 8th house cusp, the 5th and planets therein.

I think the place this comes out the most for me is in using my voice to communicate with others, either through creative writing, or slightly dramatic public speaking engagements.

Interestingly, my natal mars is exactly conjunct my NN, so I feel an additional significance around things relating to mars - certainly, I do feel drawn to sharing things with others to be my life purpose (even though it scares me, it makes me feel most alive).

FWIW, my sexuality is very important to me. Sexless relationships are not acceptable - sex is a key bonding experience for me in relationships, and a source of absolute make or break for me. It's actually a key way of communicating for me within a relationship, both in person and er not (thank you venus in gemini)
