Mars Square Pluto In Synastry

The Mars square Pluto aspect can make for violence in a RELATIONSHIP. Mars is passion. Mars is aggression.

Pluto is a primal tiger. Inherent in him are all the primal passions that drive men wild, such as lust, greed, jealousy, vengeance and more.

Hence, when the square locks these two powerful yang forces in a tug of war, violence may erupt in the relationship.

Ever watch Cops?

Mars square Pluto in the Natal

Let’s look at how the square may play out in the NATAL chart. The classic interpretation of this aspect is a hot, perhaps uncontrollable temper—- think volcano.

Let’s see why.

Mars is the male principle, which is one of conquest. The male was made for conquest. The female was made for reception. That is the biology.

Hence, remember the male principle of thrust and lift when you think of Mars.

Pluto is the magnificent tiger roaming the veld. What does he do when he spots his prey? He may stalk. He may plan. He may go slowly but he will conquer.

He will not stop until he wins and he WILL win.

Winning is inherent to the nature of Pluto.

Watch Animal Kingdom.

Hence, when we combine combustible with combustible, we get super combustible or nuclear combustible or out of control combustible.

I personally do not like this apsect in synastry at all. Almost in all cases I have seen, the two partners turn against each other and try to destroy each other, its pretty violent once the sexual passion wears off. Latest example is Jolie-Pitt.

I like your metaphore. I have this in the natal so that's why I date only younger guys, to avoid the square in synastry Joking. I think.
Anyway this is a both challenging and inspiring aspect in my view. Up until now it manifested in my life mostly as the boiling vulcano under the surface, I was burning inside but outside all others saw was this calm, wise, rational, docile girl. I never let it out and when I do even 10%, people get freaked out, so I'm trying to figure out how to deal with this.
I have a huge tendency towards self distruction, but I managed to shed light on it and now I'm aware when I'm about to direct the unexpressed anger towards myself. I don't let myself explode in public and I'm slowly letting myself express this energy, but I still feel guilty at times for asserting myself. I think I've been in a way "programmed" from early age that asserting yourself is wrong.

I currently have transiting Pluto square my Mars and i kind of like it. I totally lack assertiveness and this has given me some courage and confidence that whatever comes up I will be able to deal with. I've been attracting the aggresiveness in some people, though. Too bad it will be over in a month's time. I would have liked to have this in my natal chart. It makes you a good fighter. I have the inconjunction natally.

I have it natal
I have read, this have aspect brings some "programing" like you have some action to do in your life and you are guided to it.
I have never been in a fight, but this energy is almost infinite, i can feel it inside and how I could scream it out

I've experienced this with someone a long time ago , it doesn't necessarily mean violence but just be weary you can bring out a very competitive nature in both of you. I was pluto and he was mars. Just always see things in front of me whereas mine was more subtle. Just don't play games with each other and let each other know you care for one another.

I went to a party an older gentleman was throwing to celebrate his birthday some years ago(He is Virgo/Leo cusp)

I did not know the guy in question, but we did have a mutual friend who introduced us.

To me, he was just another airhead "stud" And thought him the type to take nude spend his days taking nude selfies in the bathroom etc. So I really brushed him off

But something else was bubbling under as the night continued. He was witty/quick on the uptake and we were quite competitive with each other in getting people's attention.

Sometimes I kept on catching him glancing at me and I at times found it difficult to not "zoom in" on him too.

Years later I checked his chart since I knew his birthday and age and found a couple of double whammies. But I was not clued up to what all that meant then.

Now revisiting that, I realize that he had his Mars in Scorpio conjunct my Pluto and my Mars in Libra conjunct his Pluto in Libra that added a layer to the 21 Aug(Him) to 21 Dec(Me) point of reference.

It certainly was not the only double whammy. But thought I would mention it here as I think this Mars/Pluto aspect can be so hot!

I sensed he was kind of a temperamental person and true to what I thought,he had temper issues and was even fired at some point for smashing an employer's car window in a work-rage incident.

All this however(as reasonable as I am) didn't stop the attraction.

I am just glad that at no point in the party were we ever left inside a room together. Coz I don't think i would have been able to carry on the "front"
