I'm curious, do you know anybody with a fourth house sun who has lost their father rather early? (especially women)

just something I have noticed and wondering if it's relevant?

thanks all in advance

Doesn't this also depend on the aspects to the ruler of the 4th house, its house placement as well as any planets in the 4th?

no because house rulers are just a hypothesis
meanwhile the sun, 99% of the solar systems mass, is all in one sign/house.
some other small rock in size is not going to make a difference on the sun's force

got to remember for astrology, there is true astrological energy, and then there is people's interpretation of it, where they also throw in their own theories.

so far the basics are pretty easy; 12 different signs, (negative, mutable, element, which all seem to behave in a complete math logic in their components changing around the whole circle, all mutable signs come after a cardinal,--> order, basically it's not fantasy or related to sign being like a "boar", some kind of reason for it's existence which is orderly in nature)

and then there are masses in space, which are very small compared to the mere sun path. we don't care about mar's path. it's weak, it wouldn't leave a powerful path. the sun, is extremely massive, even from being 1 AU away, and has 6 million times the gravitational force of mars. the sun rising each day creates MASSIVE metaphysical by product called it's daily path. this is why, you can imagine in your mind, one cycle of the sun daily path, eh, not that strong, 2 cycles' ok thats a bit stronger, 20+ cycles, ok we have a strong set of houses set in place.

pluto's mass is accurated calculated as 0.00000073% of the sun's mass.

ETA:sorry i thought the OP was about the father having sun in 4th, so that's why i responded like its too complicated to check the fathers chart ruler and all that. even still my opinion stands and i thought it was kind of interesting so im gonna leave that there

to me, the signs and planets it seems strange to think they would be linked that strongly that a planet recieving an aspect will somehow effect an energy of a sign, even if there's 5 planets and 1000 asteroids in a sign, somehow it will change their energy each, :S

I am a 4th house Sun with my sun conjunct the IC exact. My dad had to go into surgery for a brain tumor in 2001 and managed to survive, albeit with seizures he has to deal with as a result of the radiation.

Then again, he has a 6th house Scorpio N.N. , so he goes through a lot of scary situations involving his health such as having cut his finger through the use of a table saw and having fell face flat into jagged rocks.

Scorpio Ascendant
Aquarius Sun in 4th
Gemini Moon in 8th

I have Sun in house 4th opposite Pluto.
My father walked away when my mom was pregnant.

I saw him 4 or 5 times in my life no more. He was a complete extranger to me, even I look physically like him.

So, I don't have information about his health

I think having Saturn in the 4th House often leads to the passing away or loss of the father as a child or early in life more than the Sun in the 4th would, as Saturn is about the heavier issues one's relationship with their father gave them.

I can see it happening with Sun in the 4th, as well, especially if there are squares or oppositions to the Sun. This is also why I don't think the 4th House represents either of our parents UNLESS you have one of the parental planets (Sun, Moon, or Saturn) in your 4th House or ruling your 4th. Because I think the 4th just represents the baggage of our personal history and upbringing, which we still carry into adulthood. But, if any of those planets are in there, the respective parent had an unusually strong influence on your childhood self, possibly due to some painful event or dynamic.
