People can pick out one’s Sun Sign easier than any part of the chart, even the Ascendant.

The reason is that the Sun shines greater than all of the planets.

Chiron is the planet of pain.

In this square, the father was, likely, a great source of pain and that pain was likely buried.

By buried, I mean pushed away into an inner compartment.

The problem with things that are pushed away is that they don’t stay down. DRAT

Very insightful. I have this aspect in my natal, and while my relationship with my dad is rocky I don't think it's the sole source of my pain, definitely a factor though. I often have feelings of self-doubt or that I'm not good enough, so there's also that
