1) rarer genetics for the geographical area (might fit in elsewhere more with the genetics)
2) stranger sign/energy than most,

thats quite interesting rainy. i havnt gotten to travel to lands of people with a different race. but i fit in with certain races more than my own skin colour.IP: Logged |

I am glad you mentioned the latter. As most people don't go all out to be alone. Its just that when pitting the company they have against their own exile, the exile is sometimes best. Better your own invigorating company than feeling alone and bored in the presence of others is what I say. Pisces, Aries, Aquarius placements can enjoy being alone.Or spending time by themselves. I have a friends who is a mix of Aqua and Pisces on the personal planets. And he often drifts into himself-away from others. And even ME

i am super, super reclusive and i have Scorpio Pluto / Jupiter in the 4th, with a Leo ASC, like rainy. Also Venus in Scorpio is conjunct the IC -- my home and alone time is my sanctuary. And a 4th house NN. Every once in a while I like to go out and when I go out, it's for days and I get into all sorts of trouble. Then I go back into my hole. I've been an ENFP in the MBTI.. the 'E' and the 'I' are at the middle. IP: Logged |

Probably a lot of water house placements, especially the 12th house and water signs in general. Maybe some earth signs and houses too in addition to strong Moon/Pluto/Neptune aspects.I have 5 water signs in mainly all water houses and am extremely introverted. I enjoy my time alone as much as possible when I get the chance. Being around other people drains me to the point where I have to shut off from the external world and navigate inside my own mind for a while. Additionally, I have a tight Grand Water Trine consisting of my Cancer Mercury, Scorpio Pluto, and Pisces Moon, so that as well establishes my introverted preference too. I also test as either an INFP or ISFP on MBTI tests and have a 4w3 enneagram, although I would say much more introverted then most with the 3 wing. I almost appear as a 4w5, but I cherish success too much to have a 5 wing. IP: Logged |

Me, I can handle people for a couple of hours max, I'm alone most of my life and have no problem with it...12H stuff, Mars (the chart ruler) 12H in Pisces, that's probably the main thing...I might appear sociable (Sun on MC, 1H Moon, Venus in 7th), but nope, I'm just seemingly diplomatic and relaxed around people...Nothing against anybody, I actually have no problems with people (cause I ignore most of them), I just need all the time I can get for myself...IP: Logged |

when people see my chart may think I am very sociable. in reality i enjoy people when I am in the situation, but my instinc choice is always reclusive. I have saturn in 12 sextile my moon-mercury. I think this is the placement that explains it. otherwise the other placements shows a more extroverted self. I am very talkative, but as someone mentioned before, I feel drained by company of people I have nothing important (in my view) to share with... >I prefer to be alone most of the time... another placement that can explain may be chiron in square to mars-sun-venus I am very venusian (AC taurus, venus conjunt sun, sextile AC, jupiter trine AC) jupiter sextile Mars-sun moon-mercury in gemini... I would agree with the water. although i do not have many placement in water houses, i have cancer venus-sun-mars... I have moon-mercury pluto. i have mercury neptune.. nothing in piscis.. maybe i am not as reclusive as other people, but the older i get the more i want to be by myself. i just find most people boring. sometimes i prefer a good book that talk to my sould than a random person just filling an empty space. maybe is our society that is so frivolous that most people feel like being by themselves? I think prominent Pluto placements since Pluto has a hard time fitting into social structures and confining in anything really, it's very much a loner planet and typically people with prominent Pluto feel misunderstood in some way. I would agree that water signs are rather private and reclusive, particularly Scorpio and Pisces likes its alone time as well. Cancer is rather changeable but ultimately a home body. 12 H placements need time alone to recharge also Saturn too , although status seeking, has a hard time connecting to others their own age especially. Sober aloof quality to Saturn that takes it awhile to get to know others and to open up. So it usually makes few friends but they are long lasting Uranus too keeps its distance and might have a hard time making connections since it operates at such an independent and unique manner.
