I am quite concerned for my friend that has this placement. She's always so focused on trying to get into her dream relationship, she always ends up feeling disappointed because the guys she dates are never good for her. She dated someone who used her for sex before and another one who cheated on her the first chance he got. She also dated one of my buddies once who had really bad anger issues and almost hit her. They broke up over a year ago. Yesterday, she just messaged me saying how she misses him and how they were so perfect for each other blah blah blah. I don't think I got through to her when I told her to stop focusing so much on getting a relationship and focus more on enjoying her life first. She's 18 and she told me last night she wants to get married by 22 and have her first child by 23. That's why she wants a relationship so bad. She doesn't even give herself enough time to completely move on before jumping into the next one. She just also recently went through another breakup 2 weeks ago. I personally think she's nuts, but I would respect her decision if she decides to get married and have kids at a young age. The only thing I'm concerned of is that she likes to rush into things without really knowing the consequences. It'd be horrible if she ended up with another emotionally abusive person like her exes. How does one get through to someone with Venus in Pisces without affirming their delusions? I tried to do that before and it didn't work well as I had expected. So this time, I tried to tell her the truth, but it didn't work anyway. She's a Taurus who needs a huge dose of reality.

well i have that and the only way i could learn is from reality hitting, seeing that your dreams wont come true as expected/hoped, but then whn that happens you feel you dont care anymore anyways and just live life

(but im still kinda waiting for one thing that could be possible, god knows if it is) if it does then my soul already senses it, if it doesn't then my soul knows, i dont know,

From the sound of things, I think your friend is more "lovesick" than anything. As to her, it matters not what type of guy she is with really, just so long as the momentous feeling of "love" is vivid and alive.

Love can feel like a drug. And its no surprise to me that Venus in Pisces often throws themselves in it as it sweeps them off their feet and promises heaven.

All of us in actuality are vulnerable to overdoing the expression of the sign where our Venus is placed.

Venus in Scorpio can overdo sex / loving people who are emotionally complex or having some sort of power play attached to the relationship.

Venus in Aries can be addicted to the chase and pursue external interests(outside of an existing relationship) because of the thrill of it.

Venus in Gemini can love the idea of being involved with differing types of people at once. Feeling like they are getting a variety of perspectives all at once can be orgasmic for them.

And if you add Sun,Mars,Pluto,Jupiter, Neptune into the mix(by sign, sharing house or aspect),it can certainly make one invest a great deal of time in love stuff.

She is in-love with being in-love. And her feeling of wanting to increase that feeling, springs to her mind plans of the babies, marriage and a "happily ever after".

So it really matters little in her mind if the man she chooses is "right" for her. What she is looking for is to live out the fantasy.

The man she wants is just a projection of the "Ken" doll that she has in her perfect barbie house.

That maybe why I think she is so quick to move on as she has no real attachment to these guys. They are only shadows, empty shells from which she can weave her ideal.

Is there a way to stop this train from moving towards a certain and undesirable end? No.

Is there a way to slow it down and have it pace itself and change course? Only if the driver is conscious of the dead end that is nigh.

Are you the friend who will wake the driver of this train? Probably not. And it may be painful for you to sit back and watch the outcome.

People don't like "I told you so", it just makes them cave in and isolate those that seem to rain on their parade.

My advice is that if you really want to help her, you will have to be "in the mix" of every relationship she starts so you can be her voice of reason. Sound impossible? Yes.

The other option is to just let things run their course and trust that she has enough resources within her to weather the storm.

I have this venus and to be honest my relationship was all doomed too but I have a hard time to move on, so I never jump quickly into another relationship.

I too always attract abusive people (physically, emotionally, verbally, etc) and I don't know why because I never intentionally get them close into my life. I make friends with everyone, yes, EVERYONE (all kind of people), I think that's where my problem started, no boundaries.

Taurus sun women I have found they always have some lists of the man they want, no matter what venus they have, they know what they want but will never tell you because it may sounds like a selfish people, they do not want to look like that.

If venus in pisces told you they miss their abusive ex, it's because this venus can be easily very forgiving then they start seeing the good side of those people again.

I've known some of venus in scorpio/taurus/libra who want to get married in a young age (one of my Scorpio sun with venus in scorpio did it lol) and some of Libra/Gemini sun who will jump into the next one/relationship days after they broke up or they will back and forth, always in the relationship.

The delusions of venus in pisces tend to "stay in bad relationship". I've known several including my oldest sister. After more than 15 years in relationship (she then marries her first and long time boyfriend), she finally can see the reality of her relationship. It's sad that you need to wait her wake up so many years.

I am a Venus in Pisces (And Mars in Pisces, conjunct in the first house). I'll say this: They don't learn the harsh lessons until they evolve.

I went through a repeat cycle of noncommittal (but highly intense/passionate) relationships until I learned. The last one of those nearly broke me. I was delusional about him (this is my slightly harsh assessment anyway.) He was unbelievably manipulative and turned out to be a sociopath with multiple women believing the same stories as I. When that ended - I actually wound up ending it because he would happily have gone through another round of confusion for the fun of it - I transformed. It was awful for awhile and a very dark time in my life. But I'm very different now.

I can't say this happens with everyone - but I am grateful for the lesson learned. I stopped letting my life revolve around someone else (which I always denied through the years but secretly was doing), and really gained a lot of power. I needed something truly ridiculous to show me MY own bullsh*t.

But anyway, I based on everyone's replies, I guess there's not much I can do to help her. I have Mercury in Virgo, and whenever I try to reason with her, sometimes I just feel like I'm being a downer although I think I'm very reasonable.

I've also had a male friend with Venus in Pisces. He always came to me to tell me how difficult his relationship is and how he just wants to break up with his girlfriend. Actually, he tells everyone else that same story, except when he's talking to my boyfriend that it becomes different. He tells him how great his girlfriend is and that she takes care of him and all that. I don't really understand why.

It's a pattern I've seen with this placement that they'd rather cover up the truth with lies even to themselves just so they wouldn't have to deal with the harsh truth. I can't really blame them. I've been through a similar experience when I had Venus in the 12th house on my solar return two years ago.

I guess my friend will have to learn lessons on her own without anyone telling her this and that.

@Solar_Leo_Queen: Are you a Leo? Do you have Virgo placements? How old are you? What is your Venus sign? As a Venus in Pisces person just be there for her, listen to her and reassure her. Don't judge, don't give advice (I REPEAT DON'T GIVE ADVICE), don't shame her or make her feel awful. Lastly and most importantly if must dabble in the world of reality, present and give her the option to have a new healthier/better alternative/perspective on reality. IF you do present her with a healthier perspective on reality, make it fun, exciting, and allow her to use her own imagination.

P.S. if you don't have the patience (aka someone who is annoyed by someone repeating the same cycle/mistakes over & over again), don't even bother.

The misconception about Venus in Pisces is that they don't know any better. We do know better (most of the time) but we UNCONSCIOUSLY choose the safer/more painful route/situations because we are very open/forgiving, we see ALL SIDES/PERSPECTIVES & we see the hard way/pain as necessary (but in a very Dumbledore, spiritual/otherworldly way). We are definitely tapped into a source that is not our own.

Venus in Pisces can be amazing at relationships if they find somebody truly great, they can emanate unconditional love. Of course life and humans are complicated and relationships like this are rare in this modern world.

As it is your friend has developed unrealistic expectations, which don't correspond with true love at all. (Setting an age for marriage etc.)

I'm wondering has Neptune reached her yet, or Chiron? There could be a tough lesson when Neptune reaches her if she doesn't find the higher octave of Pisces beforehand and learn to trust her gut feeling...
