Anger can be explosive or stuffed. I am a Mars in Cancer, so I know of what I speak, when I talk about “stuffed”

Let’s discuss some anger aspects. If you like this, I will do more articles because there are many anger aspects.

1. Mars in Cancer
We are famous for stuffing our anger. We, often, put it into the organ related to Cancer, which is the stomach. I am on my way to get something for my stomach, as I write *sigh* Maybe, I could get rid of my stomach problems if I just punched someone?

2. Pluto Square Mars
This native may look like he will murder you if you step on his toe. I am sure you know what I mean. Give him a wide birth. If he wants anything, surrender it, whether it be your girlfriend or you Whopper. This native may explode suddenly. On the other hand, he may hold it until he cannot hold it anymore and then, explode. Either way, why expose yourself?

3. Mars Conjunct the Moon
Mars conjunct the Moon is very easily irritated. He may explode over small irritants, rather than let the volcano build up and then, who knows what? This native may have a subtle(or overt) hostility to women. although he may not admit it.

4. Mars in Libra
One may think is is a strange one to put on this list because Libra balances and balances and balances until he goes crazy. Strong emotion has to go somewhere. This native may not explode. He is too nice for that. Where it goes, I am not sure. You tell me.

5. Mars conjunct Pluto
This aspect is classic for explosive anger. He could go from zero to a hundred in a second. Hence, if you see him angry, run fast. You may not have much lead time.

I've got Mars parallel Pluto, and yes, my anger is explosive. Expressing it makes me feel healthy though; keeping it in makes me feel like utter **** .

I got so mad at my sister once after she screamed at me (Mars-Pluto opposition) I punched my closet door out of fury. It took one punch and I broke the door off of its hinges O_O
There's marks on the door from my punch, but then again I held myself back a bit so I wouldn't break a hole in it.

I have my sun/Mars/Mercury conjunct in libra with Pluto exactly parallel the 3, closest to my Mars by 0'06orb
Also my Venus is conj Pluto in Scorpio on the DC

im much better at controlling my temper now, but when I was younger I was very hot headed and aggressive. I've probably cracked my hand about 3-4 times from punching anything Infront of me when I was in raged. I love my hands too much.. So I try to let it out in other ways ha. Always naturally drawn to fighting/boxing/martial arts, my family is Mars/Pluto dominant also so I was taught how to "protect" myself at a very early age. Its interesting because my Venus dynamic gives me a very peaceful and gentle side also.. Seems to come out ina more defensive way when I'm angry, or if I keep things inside, if I don't speak my mind it's terrible for me because I'll mull it over a thousand times until I resolve it.

My temper is rather explosive, I keep it in and when I finally have had enough I explode, it's not often I get to that point though but if I do start to freak out it takes me a really long time to calm down.. I get to a point where I don't care anymore and i feel like a bulldozer lol. But I really don't enjoy the feeling or getting to that pooint.. It makes me more sad.

Slow things, electronics.. Vehicles is what annoys me the most probably, and rude people. Seems like the only time I flair up, it's kind of bad but I'll have to like scream to calm myself down because I'll get so agitated my first instinct will be to break something ha. Especially my damn phone, and traffic will drive me insane. And when people are throwing negative vibes at me I am not one to keep my mouth shut and pretend like it's all ok, I'll say something sarcastic or call them out for exactly what they did to annoy me. I'm very upfront and when I'm angry I'm fearless/obsessive so I try to keep my cool.: haliluyah for Venus to keep me in check (Taurus rising, 7H Venus and libra placements)

I also think Uranus square my sun/Mars/merc and semi square Venus/Pluto contributes to the explosiveness and recklessness I feel when I am agitated.

I have the first three...
Up until recently I haven't been able to express my anger, it's still a struggle, but I'm learning, I have to. Otherwise I'd self destruct... I used to turn all the anger inwards and people had no idea that I was burning inside. But I can't do it anymore.
Anyway on the upside these aspects hold in themselves the power to transmute anger into passion, drive, and inner strength.

With Mars in Cancer I have this theory that most people with this aspect haven't really learned in the early years how to express anger or it wasn't allowed for them. So there is the guilt that can turn then the anger against oneself.

How close are the orbs, not the parallel but the others?

Great post for all of us, too.

Thanks so much for sharing

Mars conjunct pluto exact - there are only a handful of things that prompt it but, yeah, when I lose my temper it can be intense.

Lol I have Mars conjunct pluto in scorpio

Being well aware of my tendency to explode, I always try my best to hold it in when people give me the reason to explode.
When I finally do explode on my enemies, people who were on my side before the explosion ends up defending my enemies because I explode too hard and all of sudden I am the villain lmao.. I have no idea how I can escape from this pattern that happens every time

anyways super accurate!

Good post, Ami. I have Mars in Cancer and square Pluto. Husband has Libra Mars and it is unaspected. Our Mercury are in Square, which made our situation worse. I don't know how to work out. He is stubborn and cannot change. I feel drained.

I have Mars in Libra. I'm actually quite surprised that it's on this list. But then again, the people who have seen me angry have been really terrified of me. Everyone thinks I'm the nicest person until I snap. I'm the same with BeholdAstarte. I used to have an explosive temper as a child but then it always made me feel uncomfortable and decided it was not nice.

@Solar_Leo_Queen

Hey there. Mars in Libra here too.

I am not surprised that Mars in Libra is here. We can be a nasty bunch-but are adept at looking "polished" whilst doing it.

As a Mars in Libra I avoid explosive "in your face" anger. But I tend to execute revenge in a cold, calculating, "smile while giving you pain" kind of way.

I think of Mars in Libra as someone who commits horrendous acts of violence whilst dressed in a suit -looking good and well dressed.

Miranda from "The Devil wears Prada" could be the archetype Mars in Libra: Cutting remarks made in a condescending and subtle way.

Allan from "Boston Legal" is another example of Mars in Libra.Always with a swift comeback and verbally confrontational.

Usually villains in cartoons have an effeminate quality about them.Brilliant strategists, intelligent(but not typically physically strong) and prone to passive aggressiveness- And I associate that with Mars in Libra

A person that prefers a war of words and cutting verbal remarks to actual actual physical altercation- is usually a Mars in Libra.

"Where does the anger go to" you ask Ami? It goes towards sharpening our words so that they are biting, salty, sarcastic and "hit where it hurts" the first time you hear them.

When I get to argue the Aries Mars I have met under the table, they end up wanting to just punch my teeth out.

Only other Libra Mars/Aqua Mars/Gemini Mars folks can keep up with the back/forth verbal "war" that others may not even know is happening right under their noses

IDK my dad has mars in Libra and is not passive aggressive or aggressive. He is just AWESOME, period.

I think you have to consider the aspects of mars, just mars in libra alone I dont feel will indicate 'anger issues.'

I will say this my dad was known for been rebellious when he was young and supposedly his personality changed a lot after he studied psychology but I am thinking that has to do with him having mars square Uranus and mars semisquare pluto, the rebelliousness.

It's always fun to provoke people with fire Mars especially Aries

It's not fun, of course, when you get punched in the face, but for some reason, I find a weird kind of pleasure in provoking someone hot-headed. I don't know if you feel the same.

To me, whenever I think of Mars in Libra battling a Mars in Aries, I always envision two warriors--one really strong looking, and one really graceful. When they battle it out, the strong one just keeps attacking, spending all his energy on throwing punches, while the other just keeps dodging. The other just gracefully dances through the punches and they get worn out slower than the stronger warrior. Something like that.

Lol. They usually miss the punchlines most times. So the remarks go off not clearly understood.

I had one Mars in Sag remark "I feel like you are insulting me. I may be wrong. But are you?"

I really wasn't.I was just being playful and seeing if they can catch up.

But alas, most Fire Mars people never entertain my love of "word tossing contests"

Well unless Venus or Sun is in Air.Then I am in for a spicy time

GREAT info. I am learning about Libra Mars from the people who have it, which is, really, the only way to learn, so thank you, S!
