would you think it's possible for a person with a cappy stellium to abandon their family?

this cap stellium person I know is very much into commitment and talks about marriage a lot, but his father abandoned their family when he was young. I am wondering if he has the same potential?

this is his chart. what do you think?

I think his father is a virgo, and his mother has sun at 1 cap

Absolutely!!

Its a very touchy point. He may bypass having to deal with those issues that hurt so much or meet the challenges and fears "head on". Its his choice.

Pluto in 4th with 4th house cusp in Scorpio-challenging upbringing

Mars opposes Pluto in 4th- Don't talk to me about my parents. I will cut you

Chiron in Cancer- I need a lot of love . i don't feel enough love

Moon in 6th- Belonging/parents didn't like me or "I feel that they are my enemy"

Moon in Cap- echoes Chiron in Cancer

Moon conjunct Saturn-Echoes Moon in Cap

12th cusp Cancer,9th cusp Aries,6th cusp Cap-Move far away from homeland and take a brand new start in foreign land because of a job opportunity.

He may put a lot of effort in his work in an effort to conceal his past. Even put up a jovial "devil may care" front that has people never guess the true person within.

With Venus/Mercury/Uranus conjunct,Cancer on the 12th house cusp and Jupiter in the 1st squaring Pluto in 4th,moving to another country is what I see as a very BIG possibility.Especially if there is a ripe job opportunity there.

Hey Aries :-)

thanks for your thorough reply, I was very much hoping you would answer

you helped me A LOT! I know this person closely for years and all you said about him is absolutely true!

he has wandered around the country a lot and has lived in different cities before, and he has wanted to move out of the country a few times (local fame was bothering him and he's a very private person with scorpio pluto in the 4th), but each time his mother has stopped him. he'll be 26 in a month but he has always returned back home to live with his mother. he says that if he leaves her she'll be helpless without him.

I just don't get why he's so into marriage, and he has always been. never shows any kind of fear or anxiety, which is strange imo for a sag sun born in the horse year!

I don't want to get paranoid over this but I can't help but feeling that all he wants from marriage is children (with his leo AC and his sun in the 5th), to build his own unlived childhood, and then when things get tough along the marriage, he'll do what his father did (which he expresses extreme resentment over).

anyways, so you believe he has the potential to abandon his own family at some point in case he gets married and has children?

I agree with the above about how the chart reflects a painful childhood, and one way for the wounded Capricorn to reconcile with it would be to look for ultimate security, so in that sense I would say no he wouldn't abandon his family after creating it. For eccentric and restless behaviour, look at the moon and uranus.
I wonder if pluto in 4th could make one obsessive about the home?

Okay so he has Uranus conj. Venus which might make him reckless in love, or he could attract that behaviour in someone else.

thanks fruityllama!

I have also been curious about his venus/uranus conjunction (uranus also rules his 7th), but I know that he has only ever dated 3 girls since he was 16. and each relationship lasted for 2 or 3 years.

he shows much more restlessness when it comes to his vocation. he's changed jobs a lot and is also very ambitious. but when it comes to relationships, he is very forward with the idea of building a lasting home. never dates only for fun. at some point (his early 20s) he used to party a lot, but remained exclusively single.

although he seems to fall in love quite fast (I think besides his venus/uranus conjunction, also because his 7th ruler is conjunct his venus). and yes all 3 have been unconventional women (in different ways).

he's quite a puzzle

My ex's father was a Capricorn, I'm not quit sure about his other placements tho, Leo moon and he was born in the Uranus/Pluto conj generation.

He left them for another woman and wasn't really apart of their life most of his life until he lost everything and tried to come back to his family, which by then was too late and he lost all sympathy because he was never there emotionally for any of them

Another girl I worked with, she had Capricorn stellium with her sun/merc conj Neptune/Uranus/Neptune and she was with her "fiancé" for 10 years and had secret affairs on the side with her old boss, she was an extremely rude and rash person, def a hard person to get a long with.

My step dad is a Capricorn and his moon is in sag conj Neptune and has a cancer rising. He seems loyal enough but because he's so cold emotionally and is kind of moody/bitchy he creates a lot of animosity with me and my little brother and sister. He's not really there, and it's weird because he's so quit he doesn't really invest that much time other than enforcing rules. He's forgotten about and he kind of creates this weird detached air about him. He's always working, isn't very affectionate at all.

When I give these examples I hope it's obvious that I'm trying to explain the various traits and influences to the signs/planets.. Either way it def depends on other placements but I think Capricorn can ultimately forget about the home (opposite cancer) and gets so invested in its own ambitions. I have a hard time dealing with the stoic nature of Capricorn/Saturn. It's a bit too cold for my liking

Capricorns are wired big time to be loyal and responsible. I am so blessed to have two Capricorn parents. I was just thanking God for that today.

I could see that, were pluto falls in the chart could make you obsess about those house matters.

I guess according to this chart.. I mean it's hard to say what a persons choices are, but I think because of his Jupiter Leo 1H that he wouldn't. Jupiter has fairly high moral in my opinion/experience despite Uranus and Neptune influence which will make him more erratic and possibly deceptive/changeable.

you're absolutely right. after some transit a couple of years ago (I'm too lazy to check now ) he began showing a very moral behavior and even dropped his modelling career and stopped partying. ever since he's become quite religious (no sex till he's married) and interested in politics. always seems to see and mention the big picture, society, etc. I think he's really grown into his jupiter character. but overall he acts definitely very saturnian. quite distant and ambitious, but still very much into any kind of loyalty especially the family bond.
