Hi guys Maybe I'm just slow, but I still don't understand how someone with lets say Venus in Taurus would be different from their friend with Taurus Rising? Or how someone with Gemini Mars would differ from someone with their ASC in Gemini for instance. Can someone please clarify this for me using mine or other examples? Thank you ------------------ Leo Sun/Mercury Sagittarius Moon Cancer Venus/Mars/Rising "You haven't seen the best of me, I'm still working on my masterpiece"👊😏 IP: Logged |

Venus is just the "love sign" and potentially what type of females I whould draw. So obviously I would be slow to commit, but other then that I wouldn't show other Taurus traits. I was shocked when girlwiththerainysoul (Taurus Female) ex had the exact same chart as me, the only difference was the time and place..so really its just rising thats different. ==================================== Gemini Sun, Capricorn Rising Aries Moon Gemini Mercury conjunct Sun, trine jupitor Venus Taurus Mars Cancer IP: Logged |

the signs muliplicate themselves all over the chart. you can have rising in gemini, moon in gemini, mars in gemini. the gemini energy is similar. it all has rulership over the arms too. but whats different is the moon, the rising, and mars. for example if you look in this thread i'll type below it is a good strong example of each energy. when a planet conjuncts the sun or even moon or horizon it will show a remarkable influence in the individual. in this thread it shows planet sun conjunctions and shows the big difference between each planet's energy that we are instilled with from having them in our local space neighbourhood. (the first pic is 6 ppl with jup-sun (very strong expression of jup energy), the next 6 are merc-sun, then there is codes with the planet written below each pic like this hufhkjmercuryasjdkh under each one energy expression here anyway mars in gemini will be very active with their arms and thus their mind. agressive in thought perhaps. moon in gemini will be more mutable with emotions. with comfort. silly expression and feel good expressing their thoughts. while mars in gemini might love debate and arguments (cause gemini is air, air is thoughts) moon = comfort in thoughts mars = combative with thoughts ***from pics like these some can perhaps see what the energy of a planet really is. mars is about aggression and energy and drive to achieve. and even destroy
moon from the above thread is not necessarily comfort or emotions. it's obvious to say that water signs are the most emotional. but from comparing sun jupiter conjunctions with the moon jupiter conjunctions, its very interesting to see the difference. the moon it is actually metaphysically sensed that is the lesser of 2 (out of the moon and the sun). it it sensed it is the "smaller" one. its quite interesting. like somehow consciously in the universe it is sensed as the lesser of the two, the more passive one perhaps. it is still a great driving force on all creatures on earth. the second greatest. it is a force of the internal you. the one who sucks up to others emotions. while the sun is a strong extruding force of extroversion IP: Logged |

The Planets (Sun, Moon, etc.) and Points (Asc, MC, Nodes) are the main sources of energy. The signs (Aries, Taurus, etc...) are the expressions of those energies. Eg. The planet Venus rules all things pleasurable. Venus also shows how we bond/connect with others. Aries is impulse. It is fast, fun, exciting, impatient. Taurus is cautious, sensible, and looking for something that lasts. If I'm looking at a person's Venus, I am looking at the way said person experiences pleasure. In Aries, Venus is looking for instant gratification - Now. In Taurus Venus is willing to wait a little, to judge if person or thing can product lasting satisfaction.

The Ascendant represents how you experience reality. It shows your unique view onto the world, and in turn how people will interact with you.Venus, as said above, shows how you give and receive pleasure. Mars is how you take action. It represents how you express your will, your movements, and how you fight. Taurus energy vis-a-vis Aries, prefers a slower pace. Generally they are hearty eaters, and love food. A Venus in Taurus, while they may take their time in Venus related things (relationships) won't necessarily have the appetite. Ascendant is Gemini will love to chat, gossip, and have an intellectual view of life. Mars in Gemini won't necessarily be as gossipy of intellectually inclined as the Asc. However Mars in Gemini will use sexy play on words when aroused. Also, the Ascendant gives a general outline of your cusp positions. Based on where the signs fall from your Ascendant an astrologer will get a holistic grasp of how that part of your life is affected. You can't see that from planet positions. Eg. Ascendant in Gemini would have Scorpio on the 6th house cusp. This denotes Scorpio/reproductive themes around health. Mars in Gemini alone won't have these concerns. A Taurus Rising will have Cancer on the 3rd house cusp. This may show a situation where the mom was like a siblings growing up; she was fun, accessible, relatable. Or conversely, where a child had to assume a parenting/nurturing role towards siblings of all ages. Venus in Taurus won't readily reveal this. IP: Logged |
