Something that I thought was surprising is that both of my parents happen to be quite weak in Plutonian energy. It's strange, because me and my sister, according to our birth times, have a lot of Plutonian energy in contrast to them. I thought it was weird. For example, both of my parents have very little Scorpio energy and they don't have any 8th house placements, nor do they have any particularly potent Pluto aspects. My Mom has Neptune in Scorpio, but that's it, and my dad has NN conjunct DSC in Scorpio as well (exact). On the other hand, I have a Scorpio Ascendant conjunct Mars with an 8th house Moon. My sister has an 8th house Sun conjunct the NN and her Mercury is on the cusp of the 8th. We also have potent Pluto aspects such as my Moon-Pluto opposition and my sister with her Venus-Mars opposite Pluto. Has anyone else experience things like this? I find it strange, that my parents are weaker in Plutonian energy while my sister and I have a lot more energy in contrast to them. It's strange. ------------------

I'm Scorpio ASC myself with Pluto in conjunct with ASC, Mercury and Venus in 8th house, so I have a strong Pluto myself, though my mom is not as strong she has moon on 8th house in Sag with Saturn there too which btw conjunct my Saturn by 2 degrees. The dynamic at home some people describe it as I act like the mom with her :/ don't know about my dad he doesn't even know his birth time.IP: Logged |

What do your parents have in the 5th house? My mother has Uranus and Pluto in her 5th, and all of my siblings and I are all Plutonian and Uranian.IP: Logged |

Saying that made me remember that bit of the natal chart. I forgot about how the fifth house can influence children. My dad has Mercury, Venus, and Pluto in the fifth, which makes sense. My sister has a Gemini Venus, Mars, and MC. I have a Gemini Moon. I don't have any Libra or Taurus placements, but my sister is a Taurus Sun. My Mom has Mars in the fifth with her Moon in Cancer on the cusp of the fifth, and it shows as well. I have Mars in Scorpio on the Ascendant, my sister has Mars in Gemini in the ninth (same placement as father). She also has a Cancer Moon conjunct Saturn, and I have a fourth house stellium. Hm quite interesting. In my family I see the opposite - a lot of pluto energy that disapears in my daughter's chart.Grandma and grandpa were both scorpio suns, my mom has Saturn mars conjunction is scorpio in 8th house, my dad is scorpio sun, I am 8th house sun, my ex husband also scorpion sun and bam - our daughter nothing plutonic, actually scorpio sign is intercepted. In my case both of my parents have Venus in Aquarius opposing Pluto and I have Jupiter conjunct Uranus in the 1H, Scorpio rising and Uranus rules my 4H. Also I highly suspect my father has Leo rising in the decan of jupiter with pluto in the 1H and I have Venus and Mars in Leo and have his eyes, well people say I am the female version of him. He was famous for his intense eyes when he was young when upset which I have been told I have as well.IP: Logged |

They have a lot of fire; my Mom has Sun conjunct Ascendant in Aries with Mercury in the first. She also has Mars in Leo in the 5th with Moon in Cancer on the cusp of the fifth house. I wonder if the energies that you as children bring to your parents is part of complementary energy to them. if they are airy-fiery leaned and you and your sister are more plutonian, it may bring to them energies they need to deal with and are not strong in their charts.a hint i would take is the NN in scorpio or your father and NN in cancer of your mother. It seems (even if your mother has moon in cancer) that they need to bring more water to their life to fufill the NN purpose? just playing with possibilities here IP: Logged |

I don't have any of the birth times for my grandparents, but I can get their transit charts and compare from there. I've noticed that both of my grandparents on my dad's side most likely have Scorpio Moons (my grandpa for sure, positive for my Grandma but not 100% sure). My grandma is super strong in fire but incredibly weak in water and earth (with only Moon in Scorpio and an Earth void). My Grandpa may have Moon in Scorpio square Pluto, plus he has more water and Earth but less fire to balance out his chart. My grandpa on my Mom's side has a balanced out chart with Sun in Sag and Moon in Virgo. He has Jupiter and Mercury in Scorpio and his weakest element is air by just one planet. it would be interesting to have a family three with these energy pattern (like counting for elements and aspects or even modalities) to see if a pattern emerge. without the TOB of your grandparents it may be difficult, but at least you can see most planets and aspects. normally, the patterns are observed throughout the family tree, and not necessarily parents children. even if incomplete the data from your grandparents, you have some useful info alread. you mentioned that one of your granparent has the moon-square pluto in scorpio. that sounds to me as a similar pattern to you.
