Can anyone share their experience with transit pluto conjunct the ascendant? Or anyone with ascendants in the earlier degrees of capricorn, have their been any major transformation to yourself or within your life these past few years? I'd like to know how this aspect has played out for people.

I donno, maybe forming a business or romantic relationship with a rich person?

EDIT
sorry I thought you meant pluto op. AC

I have seen this thing with people who have pluto transits to their AC (or as a natal aspect), they get this urge to go under plastic surgery.

This makes sense as Pluto is about overall change. And since the Ascendant is about appearance, the Pluto aspect to it could have someone want to make a permanent change to their appearance.

Personally, I am fascinated by Pluto. Its a bumpy ride, but rarely is it not worth it.

When Pluto was transiting to conjunct my natal Sun, I experienced what one would term a "vibration shift" in expression.

I simply felt that I had to go above and function from a more optimistic level and trust that the Universe would in time answer to my vibration essence.

Don't know how to describe it really. But it was an extraordinary time

I will have transiting Pluto conjunct my Mc . But it will square the Asc before then.So I can only speculate that something about the way I look will change.

What I have noticed with me however, is my focus on gym lately. And its growing intensity.

I have a pending desire to slowly transform my body & I guess that is what Pluto is really about- permanent transformations.

Pluto is busy with Mercury. But I think its done all it can do there. It will now move to the Moon(opposition). And I am a little apprehensive about that(I have to admit).

Pluto in the 12th is like the Vietnam War. Entering the 1st is like seeing the light again. You have some wounds but you're not dead. Transformation crossing the ascendant-- cared less about looks, materialism, things I normally liked. Wanting to experience life, culture, food, people, etc. Sag Asc. I know Cap Asc's with this transit are focusing on their career, more serious than they had been. Pluto is transiting 2nd and life is constrictive again, smoother yet more boring than the 12th and 1st transit.

When Pluto made a conjunction to my Ascendant, everything went wrong. It was in some ways devastating. One astrologer describes it as having the rug pulled out from under you and I pretty much agree. Stuff that you've outgrown or serve no purpose are eliminated even if you're not quite ready to let go.

Any transits to the Ascendant, effects the body as a whole so these changes are personal.

34 years ago Pluto made an exact parallel (conjunction of declination) to my Asc 17 Virgo [5N03]. It marked a rather early puberty at age 12. Of course, everything changed, and I felt a bit resentful for a while that my parents didn't warn me, but I grew up in a family where sex wasn't talked about.

My bf is a Capricorn Asc,, Mercury, Sun and Mars and I'm a Cancer rising so Capricorn is my 7th thus Pluto has been transiting my 7th since 2008. We started dating two months ago. I think Pluto has been around 15 Capricorn for awhile which happens to be 3 degrees from my Cap DC and 2 degrees from conjuncting his Cap AC; I feel like Pluto brought us together. Transit sun conjuncted his natal Pluto the day we met in October and it was a few days from conjuncting my natal Vertex in my 5th house of Scorpio whose modern ruler is Pluto (I also have Pluto in that house).

I just had that transit and after three years it's over now.

Straight at the beginning, I had a breakdown and went into psychoanalysis - which was a very good thing to do.
I discovered my childhood trauma in this time through the relationships with Pluto heavy people that came into my life.
It was buried in me and for the first time I could adress it.

The whole path of my life changed. It's like as if I had another rhythm for my heartbeat.
Not so much my outer appearance, maybe my clothing style, a little.
But it was most of all a transformation of my inner body, my body memory.

It was very painful at times, but the most important lesson in my life up until now.

This aspect is all about "Working through".
You will maybe reenact your struggles, when they come up to the surface - and then you will be able to address them, with some help.
I'm very thankful for this experience.

Definitely early in the Pluto transit, there's a destruction. Crossing the ascendant early in the first, you shed your previous identity. Transit Pluto early in the second, you lose your possessions. As Pluto moves through the house, you transform and build. Pluto in the 12th, 1st, and 2nd are immense transits. They're tough but I feel fortunate.
