As part of the rectification process I am refining, I am wondering if my venus placement can be confirmed by your help!

So, i either have a 9th or 12th house cancer venus.

Characteristics I have in my love relationships:

* very compassionate, forgiving and patient.
* loyal
* hate complacency and the idea of same ol same ol everyday.
* require admiration and validation
* until now, have tended to be in co-dependant relationships
* need my space, hate clingyness
* need reassurance
* always see the good in partners
* difficult to express emotions (moon/saturn)
* idealise love (could be sun opp neptune)
* have attracted partners from both my country and internationally.

Any of these steer towards one?

just saying.

cause someone was a cap riser, i guessed cancer. someone was a scorp, i guessed taurus. someone was likely an aries, i guessed libra. then the last one my second guess (first guess was leo, when they had sun in 5th) was libra when it was actually aries.

Well I have sun in Cancer but it is hard to tell which is which. It looks like you could give a sagittarius feel to your venus but also pisces but it could be because cancers are the nurtures/mothers of the zodiac. I think maybe the best to ask yourself: does love mean freedom or does love mean high ideals of love? Are you forever in a victim/savior role? Or more of you can never breathe type of love.

This got me.
I can't tell you how many men I've attracted that I felt needed saving. But could that just be the cancer influence?
They've also almost always been emotionally unavailable. This screams 12th house Venus to me.

and in fact I would recommend looking at the natal house position of the Moon before anything else to determine which set of needs resonates with you more...

I'm definitely not secretive in my relationships.
I have studied quite a bit in my life and love travel.

I tend to ALWAYS attract men in the arts. E.g. Musicians, poets, artists of some sort.

I don't post those pics on FB because of fear of family's judgment but not problem on ig. So maybe that IS more Leo.

I'm definitely going to check my synastry with my parents! I know my mum I saw a Leo ascendant and I think my dad would've had his Pluto conjunct my asc. I always felt a little exposed around him.

@yun, I was going to say that actually! The next thread was going to be Which Moon? Lol. Because if I'm Scorpio asc then I'm a Virgo moon in the 11th, but Leo asc gives me a Leo moon in the first house!
I'm pretty sensitive to criticism....hmmmmm.........

did you mutliple your age by 1, or 1.3-1.5?

for me my chart moved at 1.44.

I'll save you the response,

checked your chart (for anyone wants to see). it would have had progressed at a rate of 1.17 to have just moved into cap. (which i used astrotheme to find when those planets were all there) which it likely progressed faster than that.

i dont need this quote to validate me cause i know how fast my chart progresses, but as said by linda "the progressed chart moves from 1-2 degrees a year"

ETA: i'll add though that at age 12 my chart moved 13.66 degrees forward. at age 20 my chart had moved 23.5 degrees. showing a rate of 1.138 and 1.163.

but it may speed up as you get older, im not sure.

if i could use my current age and amount progressed, it would have progressed 1.92 degrees per year.

You gave me a thorough self-description and biography. There is a chance between me making a mistake I have not noticed and not having perfect clarity on your self-description that you are actually a Libra rising -- but remember, you were born when Sun & Venus were closely parallel [23 north], which adds quite a bit of Venusian influence to you and your life. So that means the arc area for Venus' placement allows it to be in the 10th, 11th, or 12th -- not the 9th.

BTW, all persons with Moon conjunct Saturn tend to be sensitive to criticism, regardless of signs involved. So the signs there are not a good point for rectification differentiation.

I'm still trying to get my head around the soul choosing the time. I'm kind of 3/4 of the way in and then the other part of me is like "really???". Which is why I'm checking all these things. And you have done an amazing job Kannon I'm not discounting that at all. It's just my analytical mind wanting to get it right. But I need to feel it with my body, as to whether this is right for me.
Libra, I could be. Since I struggle hard to make decisions and am a very relational person, needing balance in my life. But the sun/Venus parallel could very well explain the Venusian theme. I also tend to attract Aries as you know. My progressed asc would be in libra though which might explain that.

But Leo also makes sense to me, perhaps more so.

My friend who i think is libra in the 10th house, is extremely career orientated. Getting a job is like his main thing he talks about and focuses on. I tried to rectify his chart using my asc tool. I might be wrong, but i used the sun method as well and he looked just like the other libras in 10th.

My other friend as i said before has sun in 8th. Back when i was in grade school still, he talked about destiny, and how when we kept oddly meeting at strange times that he was like yeah, thats just how destiny is. like he actually thought it was destiny and i didn't really know what to think, i didnt have overly water. (more fire)

others really match their sun- house placements more than their sign, at least seemingly to me. So that's what i would check, i know your sun is in 8th for scorpio, so that must put it in 10th (or 11th?) with leo rising.

So you should ask your self, are you very work and goal orientated, aim to have nice things such as a house and dream of having a car.

Or for 11th, oh i remember we had this conversation (about the 11th now). The 11th is very creative, they focus on thoughts a lot, they love playing with words and making fun stories, and being in group atmospheres and cracking fun jokes and just enjoying being around others.

it's quite interesting! both my parents have their NN conjunct my AC (their first born) and their SN conjunct my only sibling's AC!

my father has his sun in my 4th and my sister's 10th, my mother in my 2th and my sister's 8th.

and then the suns of my two best friends (one of 13 years and the other of 7 years) are conjunct my DC.
