....and escape with some faith intact!!

My latest blog post is about the new Moon at 7 Sagittarius - on Tuesday - but as it opposes Neptune, it gives a nod to the 2016 theme.

Where is Neptune in your chart? How do you cope with the transits? Do you find strength from looking within?

Neptune is in my 3rd house of Sagittarius. Saturn transiting Sagittarius in western astrology , plus new moon and neptune transit for the most part has been ok. The thing that seems to be the theme is learning about signing the dotted line. My progressed moon is in my 5th house of Aquarius till Dec this year. It started in January where I met a guy who's Saturn conjunct my mars and very wild that the tranist was taking place as well. His neptune and jupiter ended up in my 3rd house. What started out as Mr. perfect ended up leaving me feeling like he just wanted a booty call and tried to manipulate that as best as possible to try to over ride my common sense. I think he felt I was childish and I felt like he lives in lala land or he thought I was nieve and stupid. Either way it brought me to just set boundaries and rules. I feel like we are all human and make mistakes but apparently he just held up a facade when I first met him and then turned out to be mean, hateful and a jerk. Never had anything nice to say and always critical trying to play on my emotions to get what he wanted. It made me doubt myself at first but then I realized, he has something really wrong with him. He last told me to delete his number and not to contact him again since I wasn't trying to be his call girl and he wasn't trying to date me nor be anything respectable of a man. I don't know what all is wrong with him but it doesn't mean I had to be his punching bag, I hope to God I never see or hear from him again!!! I wish him well in his life and hope he finds happiness somewhere , somehow!

I have had the mother of Neptune transits since 2012... First Neptune opposed my natal Venus, then square natal MC and now is squaring the Moon (I will experience the last pass in December). In the next 3 years I will “only” experience transiting Neptune opposite Ascendant and tr Neptune opposite Sun. Ugh. But when the cycle is over, Neptune will leave my most important personal planets and points alone for a few decades

What I can say is that simultaneous Saturn transits are extremely helpful if someone is experiencing hard Neptune transits. They have a very grounding effect and personally they have helped me to get some aspects of my life back on track, especially after a difficult Neptune square MC transit which I had until the end of the last year. I will soon experience tr Saturn conjunct Neptune and I hope it will keep me grounded enough when transiting Neptune will cross my DC..

Hi ColourfulButterfly,

Wow that sounds like a tough experience with that guy. I know some people can work with it, but I loathe Saturn conjunct Mars. For me it's a deal breaker, I simply couldn't consider dating somebody who squashes my Mars. Perhaps if you've an exalted Capricorn Mars it's not so exhausting, I know there are couples who experience it as glue, but…..I'm not sure if there are any happy couples living that reality!! Saturn will patronise Mars and act superior, but basically Saturn is envious of Mars' liberal free spirit and so are trying to confine and break this. He may not be as dark with another, but yes, keep well away. It sounds like he had some out of hand Pluto also, possibly Pluto squaring your Mercury? (Or another personal planet).

Embrace your freedom, sometimes we have to experience a relationship that is nothing like what suits us, to really appreciate the real thing when it comes along :-)

Hi Gemmi,

Lots of Neptune going on for you! Phew! Not to forget Neptune square your IC! Changes in residence, job, moving towards water, or closer to the sea – all possibilities at this time. Neptune opposite Venus can bring a rather glossy romance, keep your discerning eye on who you're drawn to. Great romance doesn't need to be false, Neptune is not inherently about deception but about higher octaves of sensory experience. Go deep within before making any big choices at this time and absolutely do not trust anybody's advice!! That's where problems can come in, even if you feel indecisive, meditate on it. One method I have is if you have a choice to make between 2 or more things, then just make that choice in your head and see how you feel. You may have an uplift or a sinking feeling in your solar plexus, you may be surrounded by synchronicity, or suddenly find that everything is 'going wrong'. Whatever you experience you will usually know for sure what the right choice is by this! Always ask your guides to do their job too….and the angels, then just learn to love not being in control!!! :-) You'll miss Neptune when the transits are over, betcha ;-)
