I'm currently experiencing a North Node transit to my Midheaven. It was exact yesterday night and today it's still in orb. My sense of security has been threatened. On one end of the spectrum, the misery I'm going through right now could save my grade in my Creative Writing class. When it comes to the other end of the spectrum, however, I'm still experiencing a lot of pain and my family has to put up with my obnoxious screaming noises until I've recovered. Then there's the fact I'm so angry, which I can't find a reason for astrologically.

The North Node is slowly approaching my natal Chiron placement, but until it does I won't know much about North Node transits with Chiron. The interpretation I'm about to give you is my best guess. Just be aware that my interpretation for this transit could be off. I wouldn't worry too much, because I'm not sure I know what I'm talking about.

Still, I'm never going to get better at interpreting anything if I never give it a try.

It was a very interesting time-- I find most NN transits involve 'new' experiences that you may or may not have a reference for prior to. Possibly part of the whole point.

I was heavily interacting with someone who also had their Mars right on top of my 5H Chiron during that transit. Convenient but also troublesome- I was pretty hooked on the Chiron-themes. (Granted, this was also a NN opposition for me as SN conjuncts my Chiron).

Themes were heavily about finding my own way through difficult (emotional-- Cancer Chiron) experiences, feeling cut off from something I wasn't sure I'd had before, and also a lot of metaphorically suturing my own wounds closed, tending to them, etc. Part of it was about learning to remove myself from situations/people that were only aggravating the wound rather than assisting to understand and grow. Overall pretty on the nose themes for my experience. My own emotional confidence was DEEPLY needed, and was difficult to find. Although I did in the end! And while that time will always sit with me, I feel much more powerful having gone through it mostly on my own as well. Strength of self, which I think is a big role of Chiron's story.

I can relate to this, a lot. The NN is currently conjunct my Ceres, Chiron, and Sun in the 6th, in Aries.

I was thinking about shutting down all social media, in the Spring, when I wasn't in a good place. I actually thought about it a year ago, too. I wanted to separate myself from everyone (except my dad, whom I live with), and I wanted to see how I felt. Who I wanted to be around. I would miss a lot of people, but I've also used the internet for distraction, and I keep putting off certain things, because of money, and really bad anxiety. It's mostly a positive distraction, but I wanted to separate my energy from everything, if you will, and then decide what worked for me, and what didn't.

I hope NN sextile mars helps me get laid. I haven't gotten laid since July. And I'm Pluto, Mars, Uranus dominant. So that is not okay, or it would be more okay if I had the privacy to use a d!ldo more often. I can't settle anymore, and I don't like being desperate.

But I said I would call them on Monday to learn more about the position. I let them know I'm between jobs right now. I hear back from them on Tuesday. I show up there with out a resume or anything and get hired on the spot. And ended up paying the most. I also don't start until Dec 4

Overall I think 1) NN transits to the houses are more telling than the aspects it makes to specific planets and 2) you will deal with the "bad" karma before you get the NN rewards; but once you do, the rewards are AMAZING. Also, it's rare that there's a big, singular event that shocks you. No, that's Uranus's job. The NN will rather create a kind of emotional/unconscious environment - the nodes, remember, deal with the development of consciousness from one life to the next.

The other important point to remember is that the nodes are an AXIS. So wherever the North Node is, the South Node is opposite. Balance the axis by dealing with south node karma and learning north nodes lessons and you will THEN be able to reap the rewards. If you don’t learn the first time… don’t worry, they’ll be back to the same spot in about 18 years.

Over time I've seen transit NN influence moreso in the areas of the houses than on the themes of the planets. It bears remembering that the houses are WHERE the action happens while the planets are the ACTORS and the signs are the QUALITIES/CHARACTERS. I suspect that in interpreting aspects to planets, the rulerships of those planets in that specific chart are probably more relevant. (ie, a NN conjunct Venus might traditionally be interpreted as affecting love/beauty/money, but if Venus rules your 9th house, maybe you'll see its effects there? Just a theory. I maintain that the house the NN is transiting is most important.)

The north node started transiting my 11th house in July 2021 and finished in January this year. For the first year I experienced TERRIBLE karma in the form of awful colleagues/classmates, a bad social atmosphere, and general relations. However, I'd say this was just as much due to my own bad attitude that I needed to overcome - I had to purge a lot of trauma. Once I did that and moved to another country and school, I experienced the GREATEST rewards in the form of the best social environment I've ever enjoyed. It's been the happiest year of my life, largely due to the friends and classmates I've had. I'm really sad to leave it now.

The north node was conjunct my sun for a few weeks starting at Christmas last year. Nothing specifically happened externally, but overall I've never been more confident. Sun rules my 2nd.

But when the NN transited conjunct my Moon/Venus conjunction, NOTHING romantic happened. I mean NOTHING. Just been going through a bad unrequited situation. But Pluto was also squaring my moon the entire time. Venus rules my 4th and 11th, Moon is my chart ruler.

When the NN crossed my DC, I think I finally ended some relationships and was in the early "pre-dating" phase of a new one, but that would only last a year.

The year I lost my virginity to a long-term boyfriend, the NN stationed conjunct my Saturn in my 8th house. I remember that as a very difficult year, but there were some sweet moments too. Saturn rules my 7th.

I had started that relationship while the NN was conjunct my Mars in my 9th house. I also started a new school. There was some back-and-forth during that time about where and with whom I'd be living, and moving across many states. Mars rules my 10th.

When the NN transited conjunct my Moon/Venus conjunction in my 10th/11th houses when I was younger, it was a mixed bag. I was happy and popular at school, but my home situation was terrible. I'm sure there were other transits at play there.

Then when it was conjunct my Mercury in my 10th, I was very depressed and starting a new school I hated in a place we just moved to which I hated. Mercury rules my 3rd and 12th houses.

I also think I met a karmic person....when NN was exactly sextile my mars. Libra stellilum in my 5th house. His Libra Mars is in the same degree as my Aquarius Mars. Capricorn Stellilum in my 8th house.
But his moon squares my Uranus and Neptune...and I just read that this can be a classic on again off again relationship especially with Pluto involved. Oh gee well his Pluto conjuncts my pluto, lilith, moon.

NN is transiting my 11th house right now. It's exactly conjunct my Sun. Actually karmic dude told me I interrupt him when he talks too much. I notice I have less of a filter lately.

I done some very bizzare outings with some of my newer friends. Let me add that I like my coworkers a lot at my new job. Very team oriented people. We have to be because these students and families need our support.
But I also am socially spent by Fridays...it takes a lot of me to socialize with people on Fridays. I really hope 4 day work weeks become a thing for teachers. I am so socially spent right now...that as a freshly divorced person it feels good to have xmas be more low-key. Less shopping! No xmas eve plans. Friends are busy doing things with their family. This will be a good social battery recharge day I think. As a teacher too I love having days off that other people don't have off because how else would I get anything done?! And if I do see my friends later I likely have a charged battery cause they worked and I didn't.

I'm grateful for my friends, and new ones too. But oh yes I've had to weed out some people!

Last year was pretty terrible. I don't remember what the nodes were doing. OHHH! It was probably squaring all the fixed in my chart. Left ex husband, bad health, not getting along with family at all. Alone on xmas and thanksgiving.

OMG I have Mars in the 10th house too! They say it's exalted in Capricorn. So I like to think this gives exalted energy.

When nodes conjunct my Mercury Taurus h12. I would let people know what I thought of them and not back down and stick up for my self. Kicked while down, but still swinging my fists with me words! The early degrees of Taurus though are so peaceful in my chart! Spring was busy but I had some cool accomplishments. My biggest highlight was probably taking a mini vacation and getting together with family and girlfriends.

my friend recently got engaged with saturn/node transits, my mother has gotten married during her nodal return, and my life turned completely during my nodal reverse return.

if you're in a place where you need a makeover or you're not aligned with your higher purpose, you can expect changes and alterations. it's an important transit.
