I heard someone state on a thread in AstrologyWeekly that they have a planet conjunct their sun in Longitude, Latitude, and Declinations. Would this accurate, furthermore possible, the use of Latitude and Declinations separately? It sounded strange to me and I wanted more clarification on it.

well longtitude is eclpitic coordinates, so a longtitude conj would be 20 aqua with one planet and around 20 aqua with another, but that other planet might be 5 degrees above the other planet (so really it's not an exact fusion, which is what an exact true conjunction is, i mean an exact fusion depends on the angle and how close they are)

if its latt and longitude the planets will be fused exactly or 1°> ) which is why they would be the same declination merely because they are located at the exact same point in the sky.

and sometimes for example if you are conjunct in longitude exact, but have the planet 10 degrees above it in lattitude, then you will find that the higher planets declination will be higher from the equator and thus will have a different declination. so all 3 should be taken into account separately.

also you can have a planet 5 aqua and 5 scorp and they can both be conjunct in lattitude,

all that would mean is they have the same distance away from the eclpitic, like they are both 3 degrees below the eclpitic (really not very interesting imo)

its more interesting for equator cause they vary much more than their distance from the ecliptic.

if the planets could be 90° from the equator, then it would be really rare and even more special when two planets are both the same distance above (if they were often scattered anywhere within 90°)

for two planets to be 34° above the equator each, would be slightly more special than 2 planets being 18° above each (in standard world use currently because it would be so rare

Latitude is not a useful measure of north/south position, which varies little from the ecliptic for most planets since they generally follow the ecliptic. The only planet that varies significantly enough from the ecliptic (latitude) to form even a 15° aspect to it is Pluto as seen here:

Notice that even though Pluto is less than 5° from the end of Virgo/beginning of Libra where the ecliptic = 0° north/south, it is 16° North in declination.

Declination's mid-line is the celestial equator, which is better for north/south measure from a geocentric point of view, particularly since it helps define planetary cycles as they move through the zodiac. This is not to say the distance or angle between a body and the ecliptic does not have meaning, just that it has little or no significance in the birth charts of most people.
