 | posted December 03, 2016 07:11 PM I like positive topics. We, all, do but we cannot ignore the hard things in life, either. That would make us insane. I am only slightly insane. I don’t know about you. I gave you nine aspects here because people were complaining about five. Onto the subject.
 1. Mercury conjunct the SunI am not referring to the combust, which is a five degree or less orb. I am referring to the conjunction, which is a six to ten degree orb. This is a classic sign of intelligence.
 2. Mercury Trine UranusUranus is an “out of the box” intelligence. I think of the inventor of velco. A sticky burr adhered to his pants. From that incident, he invented velcro. Uranus is the planet of the “unique”. My favorite Uranian character(which means he TYPIFIES the placement, not necessarily HAS the placement) is the great Sasha Baron Cohen a.k.a Ali G. He takes humor to the next level i.e wildly out of the box.
 3. The Sun Trine UranusThis native may have an “out of the box” career a la Bill Gates.(Bill Gates TYPIFIES this aspect, although he may not have it) Bill Gates did not graduate from college. He did it “his way”, as do all good Uranians.
 4. Quaoar(50000) Conjunct MercuryQuaoar conjunct Mercury is in the chart of the great Paul McCartney. Mercury is the asteroid of the mind. Quaoar is PURE BRILLIANCE. Sir Paul McCartney certainly has pure mental brilliance!
 5. Quaoar Conjunct the AscendantGuess who has this placement for pure brilliance, which would shine forth from his life? The great Albert Einstein.
6 Neptune Conjunct MercuryNeptune conjunct Mercury could be a mixed bag. This is a classic aspect for a liar. It is a classic aspect for a wonderful imagination. All great traits can be taken to too much of an extreme and turn bad. However, I hadto add this because it is in the chart of one the greatest authors of our time, in my opinion, which is Stephen King.
7.Neptune Trine MercuryThe Neptune/mercury trine helps to give us the best of neptune i.e amazing creativity and imagination and eschew the worst of Neptune i.e lying, getting lost in fantasy and addictions. The Neptune/Mercury is classic for a writer. It is, also, classic for any creative enterprise, such as music or art.
 8. Pluto Trine the SunThis kind of intelligence, I would call more of an “emotional intelligence”. This native could pick up a lie a thousand feet away. This native could scope out a fraud a thousand feet away. Great perception is a wonderful form of intelligence and this native is one of the poster boys.
 9. Pluto Conjunct Mercury( The Great "Orange" Aspect, shown especially by the cats thread ) These natives have a lightning fast mind, which excels at picking up the “essences” of people. They seem to have an amazing sense of humor, as well. Humor is really truth which polite society does not want to face. Ask Ali G!

Albert was a Pisces with Pisces mercury and I don't see why that goes overlooked. Pisces placements show mystical and unimaginable talent or wats of thinking. I have Mercury in Aqua in 3rd and Uranus in third but I'll be outclassed by water placement Mercury everytime IP: Logged |

 | posted December 03, 2016 08:13 PM Albert Einstein is techinically an Aries Mercury.
Allthough, water on Mercury is an interesting combo because the emotions get mixed in with the logical thought process. It can produce interesting results but is not good for Mercury when it comes to reaching it's highest potential. A water Mercury in an Air house might help balance this out. Aqua Mercury conjunct Neptune exact in third. ------------------Scorpio Ascendant
 Aquarius Sun in 4th
 Gemini Moon in 8th

I would think water Mercurys would be more attuned with the arts in general, but having it in an air house would definitely add a different flavor to it. I have a water Mercury in a water house and was never naturally drawn to the more scientific, left-brained subjects. I guess I could have tried forcing myself into it more, but like you said my potential probably wouldn't get as fulfilled in comparison to someone with a more cerebral, air Mercury.

VERY interesting question. This is brilliance in the body such as an athletic person. MOhammud Ali had it. Isn't that fascinating ------------------Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE.

 | posted December 04, 2016 02:14 AM I have Quaoar in Scorpio conjunct Ascendant and sextile Mercury and mercury parallel pluto.
I don't know if I agree that Quaoar means brilliance. I like the thoughts of Aleksander on it. He had several key phrases to describe Quaoar’s action: After something bad, comes something new, some new expansion of consciousnessA price must be paid, a painful process, before something new happens
A break with something, a break with the past, so that we can move onto something new
Something must die first and then something happens, something new that is beyond death.
Because of the Tongva association, the symbolism of Quaoar may be connected with “creating through dance or rhythmic creations.”
Or this: And let us note, Quaoar is north of the ecliptic in Ophiuchus, not south in the Scorpion. This stellar positioning suggests its appearance may be motivating the willingness to challenge existing political structural systems to re-align with the laws of the natural world—but not to fall into battle from mere malevolence, hatred, vengeance, or undermining spite but to take a stand for a greater attainment of evolutionary freedom. Yes I have noticed that too. He is a Pisces with mercury and venus in Aries, mars in Capricorn, moon in sag, Jupiter in Aquarius. Mercury in Aries gives him a fast mind but it conjuncts saturn given him little patience for the school system which possibly was holding him back making it challenging to thrive in that environment. Moon in sag gave him an emotional need to feed his higher mind daily and have him a restless mind always wanting to learn more. Jupiter in Aquarius in the 9h opposite Uranus in the 3H with pluto at the apex squaring that opposition is probably why he is a genius with an intense curiosity and creativity who will not stop till he found or discovered what he was looking for, he was wired to keep digging mentally with an intense curiosity and creativity. Then add the competitive nature of mercury and venus in Aries with mars in Capricorn and that cardinal energy that pushes him.to take initiative and bam! He so had cancer rising to add to that cardinal energy. What a hell of a chart he had. IP: Logged |

Last time I checked my IQ was 130. That is quite high. I dont see myself as a genius or brilliant and having such IQ didnt help me either in life. Simply because, in our world, people dont like smart people ( so I have been told, especially at work). IP: Logged |
