Hi,

Around 5/15/17, my NN will conjunct my ASC.

Has anyone had this experience and what happened?

I've read everything from you will meet someone, get engaged/married to people will be drawn to you.

I also read:

"When the North Node transits the Ascendant, the individual is in a “coming out” phase. Personal timing tends to be fortunate, and there is a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Things begin to click, as there is an air of self-sufficiency, with others responding more readily to any personal efforts undertaken by the individual. Those born with the North Node conjunct the Ascendant are always noticeable for these dynamic qualities, and others are quite willing to follow their lead.
At the same time, the transiting South Node on the 7th house cusp shows that others may tend to be somewhat like extra weight to carry, requiring the individual to take on added responsibilities or burdens. This transit occasionally times a health problem or unfortunate circumstances surrounding the marriage partner or an intimate. Due to stressful conditions, partners may become moody or difficult to deal with. Because the individual with this aspect is anxious to move forward on his/her personal interests and projects, any conflicting demands are more taxing than usual."

I'd like to know what happened to you when it happened...I'm excited but other times NN made significant moves, nothing happened...

Here's what the transits look that day for me:

I have the North Node actually in my 1st and in the same sign as my Ascendant, though not conjunct. So, this happened to me several years ago and was technically still my North Node Return, since it was in the same sign and house.

When the conjunction to the Ascendant happened, I felt like I was starting a new chapter. Felt a lot more initiative and was more driven. The day the conjunction was exact, I also finally stood up to someone who was a bullying, controlling, negative influence on my life up to the point, which severed the relationship on a certain level but was also a really positive change. I learned how to never be afraid to say "no" to others and how it's important to say "yes" to myself and my desires.

It also happened in the sign of Aquarius, so it pushed me to care less what people think. My whole outlook changed a lot after this transit, so I look back on it fondly.

They definitely do. Whenever the transiting North Node is conjunct something in your chart is the most important or most powerful, I think.

I have the NN currently about 2 degrees from my AC and it's closing in, and I can relate to what was said above about the new chapter starting.
Of course it can be also related to other influences, but it feels like a kind of "I'm not taking this BS anymore" state.
I've been working a lot on myself lately and I'm starting to see the results and I feel motivated to continue. Even though I have moments when I feel like crap, but overall I feel more confident.
I'm curious what will follow

Thanks the89FreeSprit! What happened when NN went into 12th? Did you continue with your changes?

Actually, I chilled out significantly when the North Node moved into the 12th, especially once it was out of the sign of Aquarius. Became a lot more "at rest."

All throughout the Aquarius NN transit, I was very much like, "I've got so much to do! I've got goals! I need to stay busy!" It began with my exact North Node Return and I became more driven than I had been before. And I spent the following year in very "active" mode. Then, the NN's exact conjunction to my 1st was like the culmination of that and I felt like I could move on and didn't have to be so active all the time.

It's funny because the NN moves backwards so we will experience the transit differently than other transits. I think when it's about 0 - 3 degrees away from your Ascendant, it's felt most powerfully. After that, it's pretty much over.

Also, since I actually have the NN in the 1st, my experience will probably be a little different from yours.

LOL My ex had this when we got married - Ketu hit his 7th cusp and my Uranus whilst Rahu was on my moon, etc. Not the best wedding-day placements I can tell you (sun on Algol jajaja) ...
