Ami, you have quoted me out of context and therefore my post has lost its meaning. I was in no way supporting an attack on Faith or any others who share her view. My issue has been with the methods employed. Yours included. You have been kind to me, but that does not mean I support you in this. I'm sorry. Do not twist my meaning and rope me into this game. 1. There is a history with Ami for several reasons. Some people are upset because she put wrong information in the chart. It seems she had done that a couple of times and this situation is enraging some people. On top, her political views are controversial. For these reason and many other that scape my understanding, some people have decided that they will be checking her post for accuracy. Since some other people are deeply offended by her political views which seems to be extremist right wing, some others joined the protest.
a. To this background scenario I would say the in my opinion (respect the right to dissent) there are more professional ways to address the issue. A good example was the recent thread about the quality of the discussion material and how to make Lindaland more professional. Some may argue that without the fight this would have never happened. It may be, as people are tired of fighting and are eager for solutions. With regards to Ami political views, I also think that the issue should be addressed in a similar professional way. The netiquette or any other professional mechanism. Some have argue that this won’t happen because Randal won’t do anything. If this is a problem with the website itself, then I don’t know. In any case I would try the formals channels and if they do not work, then to bring an open discussion like in the thread I referring. Or something similar.
b. In my view thread that discuss astrological content should keep on doing that. I understand if someone come to question the false charts, it is part of the astrological discussion. It seems that people get annoyed because they point that the charts are false and Ami does not apologize. Again, if that avenue does not work, it should be another creative way to solve it. 3. If you follow the timeline of comments you may realize that after I noticed you linked my thread into that discussion, I realized that you thought I was attacking you. I wrote here that I would not address any non-astrological content and promise to ignore any thread or comments not related to astrology. I apologized to those I have offended and for me was the end. This thread have died there. And I was not making comments to any of the other threads going on about the issue.
4. Then I realized a comment from Violet bringing information about Ami, and I felt the need to let her know that it was not about Ami, but about any person being humiliated that I was defending. And wanted to make clear that even if all the claims against Ami were correct, I did not find appropriate to make fun of her. If you look carefully to that replay you will notice that I said that with my mocking post I was part of what I was criticizing. I acknowledge that I did the same I was criticizing. So you are correct in pointing this out. I did do exactly as the group of people I was criticizing. I was making fun of something I considered ridicule. Then you are right, I could have written the same thread exposing my opinion without mocking. If it serves to those concerned, I do not plan to mock anything I do not like anymore. I will bring my concerns in a respectful way.

5. Then came LeeLo post and the evidence of the provocation speaks louder. She got the reponse she deserved and I have no regret. I am done with her. I just do not fall for her trap. No matter how hard she try.

6. Then you came to insult me. When you did that you did not notice that I had post two comments on that thread even If I have said it here before in response to Teasel. So you read the thread or not? Because if you did not, why do you feel offended? I will assume that you really did not see my post before. I will assume that you really did not know I post two comments in that forum so as to have an excuse to play the victim. So, I am not passive aggressive any more, but still I did something nasty. OK I admit my guilt. I am guilty of mocking what I consider intolerant behaviour and I promise not to mock anymore behaviours I consider ridicule.
On another note, here is where I see the source of misunderstanding. You think this thread was about you. It was not about you. There were about 4-5 people making comments that I found intolerant. So I create a mock of the intolerant behaviour. It was not toward Faith or particular person but toward any intolerant comment I saw in that and contemporary threads. I thought that if people could see how ridicule looked to be so fanatic they would do a self-awareness check and take the hint. Actually I thought it was not going to be so obvious. These people did not say anything offensive, but she verbally abused them. So, when you show that your values are consistent with what you preach, then I will be the first to believe that it is not personal with Ami. Do I believe you care for victims? I do, do I believe that in this instance your attitude goes beyond the victim protection and become a personal battle with Ami? I do. If I ever discover that I was wrong I will be the first to apologize in public to anybody. I have no problem apologizing, but it is hard for me to not see this situation as a personal battle until proved otherwise.

To the implication of a mafia, yes, I do think there is a “mafia” with people coming to the rescue of any person they have in their friend’s circle. That is OK. People has the right to defend their friends no matter what. Some friends are so loyal that defend even criminals because they are their friends. But it is not up to me to lecture how to behave with friends. I have my own principles and I am not planning to impose them on others. An example of the mafia is all the rescuer coming to this thread. Except for one or two, the rest are part of the team. So, why to hide what is so obvious to any careful observer? Rhetorical question
For me this entire issue is past. I will not look at any response and will not post anything. I will post only in astrology discussion. If I noticed something that bothers me I will behave responsible. I will not mock anybody. I know there will be the compulsion to answer back and forth. I will refrain from that and if anybody wants to continue this discussion, I will not be part of it. We have reached a point where people have different views of a problem and how to solve it. We will not agree in many things and we do not need to. Respect for differences is also a good agreement. Otherwise, voice are raised, mistakes are made and things escalate to unimaginable proportions.

Faith I called you fanatical. I think you are, but still, I consider you a brilliant person and a good source of insights in this community. I would still read post of yours associated to astrology and spider lane. You called me passive-aggressive and hypocritical and that is ok. For me this is in the past. I thought the “teaching” was going to be non-humiliating so everybody could get the hint without being exposed. I thought that whoever could see themselves reflected in that mock would say to himself “wow, do I look like that?”. I thought it would be a good way to show how outsiders could perceive that behavior. It backfired and I was sorry about that. I felt sorry to have offended anybody with my mock. I wanted to shake, but not to humiliate. I already said that in this thread.

To your questions about evidence of torture. As I said, in a mock you exaggerate things to make a point across. I do feel that the defense of victims is a flag used to harass Ami or get rid of her. Evidence? I believe that in the Ami case it is personal. It is not about you defending victims. It is about you having a problem with her. Of course, many other people having problem with her will support you. I know she is a controversial figure in this site and will have many people supporting the cause, but that does not make the point untrue. The fact that many people have problems with Ami does not mean that you are not using the defence of the victims as a flag for your personal problems with her. I do only have evidence in the opposite direction. If you were worried about victims, you would stand for all of them, not only Ami’s victims. Why don’t you go to that thread again and look at the dismissive and very offensive comments made to people dissenting with the METHOD?. Looks for example at any single comments made from LeeLo to any dissenting opinion. Would you stand up for these victims of verbal abuse, would you? Rhetorical question. These people did not say anything offensive, but she verbally abused them. So, when you show that your values are consistent with what you preach, then I will be the first to believe that it is not personal with Ami. Do I believe you care for victims? I do, do I believe that in this instance your attitude goes beyond the victim protection and become a personal battle with Ami? I do. If I ever discover that I was wrong I will be the first to apologize in public to anybody. I have no problem apologizing, but it is hard for me to not see this situation as a personal battle until proved otherwise.

To the implication of a mafia, yes, I do think there is a “mafia” with people coming to the rescue of any person they have in their friend’s circle. That is OK. People has the right to defend their friends no matter what. Some friends are so loyal that defend even criminals because they are their friends. But it is not up to me to lecture how to behave with friends. I have my own principles and I am not planning to impose them on others. An example of the mafia is all the rescuer coming to this thread. Except for one or two, the rest are part of the team. So, why to hide what is so obvious to any careful observer? Rhetorical question
For me this entire issue is past. I will not look at any response and will not post anything. I will post only in astrology discussion. If I noticed something that bothers me I will behave responsible. I will not mock anybody. I know there will be the compulsion to answer back and forth. I will refrain from that and if anybody wants to continue this discussion, I will not be part of it. We have reached a point where people have different views of a problem and how to solve it. We will not agree in many things and we do not need to. Respect for differences is also a good agreement. Otherwise, voice are raised, mistakes are made and things escalate to unimaginable proportions.

Faith I called you fanatical. I think you are, but still, I consider you a brilliant person and a good source of insights in this community. I would still read post of yours associated to astrology and spider lane. You called me passive-aggressive and hypocritical and that is ok. For me this is in the past. It someone wants to continue a war, I will not eco the invitation.

Again, I apologize to have hurt people with the mock not only to Faith (because it was not toward Faith). I do not apologize to LeeLo as I own every single words I said to her.
