I'm starting to realize that I relate far more to my Sag ASC than my Leo Sun - both have similarities - but I'm far more about exploration, philosophy and get restless easily and a lot less "fixed" for a Leo Sun. What about you? IP: Logged |

Cap Ascendant is stronger than Sun in my case, because it's part of a stellium and Uranus sits on it. People will always always see my Uranus first before they are seeing my Leo sun, and I think that's an achievement to beat out Leo Sun in attention (all that Aquarian energy without the burden of Aquarian planets! )But fiery Sun sq Scorpio Pluto (instant heavy energy right here) and trine a fire moon makes it a strong contender IP: Logged |

Ha, interesting. So you have a 1st h stellium in cap? I also technically have a 1st H stellium - Saturn, Uranus and Neptune all sit there. Guess that would mute out the Leo for sure. I also have that pesky fixed square between Leo Sun and Scorpio in Pluto

I read somewhere that Sag ASC actually beings out more of the "happy go lucky" Sag qualities than even the sun. Also it might help to note Jupiter's sign & placement. IP: Logged |

I don`t know my ASC but i can relate to my sun but that might be bc i have more than one planet in this sign. I don`t find the sun to be much of an influence unless another personal planet or ASC is in the same sign as the sun or the sun sign`s planet ruler is making aspects to the other personal planets or ASC. But it is not always like this though i have seen only the sun without the help of another planet helping it shine through too but on rare occasions. IP: Logged |

I definitely identify with my Ascendant more than my sun. I've always thought that the ascendant is how one sees themselves, hence the axis presented. ------------------ Scorpio Ascendant Aquarius Sun in 4th Gemini Moon in 8th Check out my blog ya'll: www.electrodgxtalks.wordpress.com IP: Logged |

Sun. My stellium is in Capricorn, so my Cap sun feels natural, and I have a 10th house moon so I feel emotionally bias towards Capricorn as well. I also have too many aspects to my ascendant to truly feel it's full efgects. ------------------ "Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace." -Dalai Lama IP: Logged |

I used to feel more like my Leo Sun and now I feel more like my Aquarius Ascendant, but Aquarius is also my NN, so that is going to be natural with time. Interestingly, I think both the Ascendant and the Sun are how you see yourself. I just feel like the Ascendant is a very instinctual way of seeing yourself and describing yourself, while the Sun is more of a conscious energy and requires more confidence and will to be like that. You are your Ascendant, in an instant, while you have to work yourself up to be like your Sun. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

Yeah, but stellium in 1st can be overpowering, a goat stellium to boot. I wish I had more opportunity to be.... Leonine.

Could this depend on how introverted or extraverted you are at the time? For example, when extraverting, the self is projected out into the environment for exploration and engagement, it would make sense for this to be an ASc.-driven experience. When introverting, the self is inward-focused where the seeds of the identity first began to develop, so it would make sense for this to be a Sun-driven experience. I spend most of my time quite introverted and it is issues around my Aquarius Sun and other personal planets that I am exploring. However, in my band, I must be extraverted as the singer, and I see more of my Libra stellium (including ASc.) qualities, as well as when I am interacting with groups or individuals in my work or social life. Short version is I find I identify with each depending on the context. IP: Logged |

When I am heavily engaged in a task that has my focus, my rising sign, Virgo. Otherwise, in life generally my sun sign, Taurus (which also holds my Saturn, Mercury, and Venus - 4 planets in a sign outweighs a rising sign sometimes). ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |

I'm Pisces and Asc in Sag, but depends on certain situations what I feel more, even as a Neptunian (Neptune conjunct Asc in 12th) I feel some saggitarian energy bring out in me. IP: Logged |

I relate to my Sun more, which is in Cancer, but that's because I have three personal planets in Cancer. My Ascendant is in Aries and is the only fire sign I have in my chart. I wish I could relate to my Ascendant more. That would help out with my fire void.IP: Logged |

Ha, your username is Southern Sun - sounds pretty leonine to me One thing I can relate to as a Leo Sun - is loyalty. We are very loyal. IP: Logged |

Hmm, when interacting with others I feel the pisces ascendant, when I am by myself I feel my aqua sun and moon more, probably because they are in the 12th house.IP: Logged |

Do you feel more Aquarius because of the conjunction maybe? I have a Libra Sun/Moon conjunction and I can barely identify with my Capricorn Rising. I am not hardworking, although I can seem stiff and quiet at times. I've always really wanted to ask others about their Sun/Moon conjunctions and how it influences them. IP: Logged |

Mainly my sun, but the ruler co-rules my ascendant, and a few people said that my energy was more Scorpio to them, and Pisces, than Aries. IP: Logged |

i don't feel like my ascendant at all. to be honest i wonder if my time of birth is right. my mother told me i was born in the afternoon but it seems off? i have some gemini qualities but it doesn't resonate at alltheres a gut feeling that i was born in the early morning and i'm a libra ascendant. that would give me a 3H stellium which could explain the gemini hints but the main kicker that gives me the gut feeling that she lied to me about being born in the afternoon = the moon. as a female the moon is really important because it's stronger and just more in tune, like the sun in more important for men. if i was born as my mother said = cap sun in 8th house (cap/scorp energy then0 if i was born as my gut says = sag sun in 2nd house. (sag/taurus) that sagittarius/taurus mix makes so much more sense to me and it resonates to my gut. also that puts my ascendant in my fathers 12th house - that bit of synastry right there = sums up our relationship like you wouldn't believe but if i'm right - then yes to do resonate to my ASC and my MC - like for example then my cap sun in 3rd house is the foundations of a house that you don't see but you know it's there and it needs to be there, but day to day i experience the libra asc and the leo mc more often if my mother is right = i resonate with my cap sun, not any of the 8th house stuff to be honest and the angles all equally. don't really feel like a cap moon. makes no sense to me.. ps. why my mother may have lied to me about my birth time = she's superstitious and believes that if people know your birth time then they can use it to curse you
