Others will have their own experience and opinion. As far as I'm concerned, this is a no-brainer.

Hands down, it is the woman who has strong Cancer placements, esp. Sun. In my experience she is not only an excellent baker (and cook, as well), but she also delights in giving to the people she loves.

Meanwhile in the land of Capricorn....

I make healthy little gingerbread men every year, out of a healthy cookbook. The recipe contains blackstrap molasses and oatbran with a strong flavor. I don't like bland gingerbread. 6H sun.

^ They're dark like that. My husband loves them and my kids just regard them as a family tradition.

Just started making roll-out sugar cookies that you can ice with bright glazes. I made them for a Thanksgiving party and got lots of compliments. My kids cannot get enough of stamping cookies and mixing colors into glaze. So I think we'll do something like this:

But we take Christmas more casually than many people do and are often travelling this time of year.

Taurus. Well, okay, there's a bit of bias there, but I still love the Christmas cookies I baked earlier this month. Man, now I want more Christmas cookies.

I'd like to joke about how Taurus will never share her cookies so that we'd know, but I know people would be hurt or offended as they thought I was serious.

No Cancer at all in your chart? I didn't intend to simply this question to Sun sign only.

Wow, Faith, those are beautiful! Do your husband and kids realize how lucky they are?

If those specimens on the white plate are from your house, you've got talented artists onboard.

Again, do you have any Cancer at all in your chart?

I just checked The Rulership Book. Author Rex E. Bills says bakers and bakeries are ruled by the Moon, Mars and Cancer.

No listing for cookies.

Cooks and cooking are associated with Mars, the Moon, Cancer and the 6th house.

This could get involved. I obviously need to broaden my perspective.

Thank you, but those aren't mine We are pretty neat with artwork but still learning how to work with glaze. It hardens fast but if you add water to make it workable again, the colors aren't as intense. Sighhh

My birthday is in the Cancer duad of Capricorn. 4H NN.

I have 3 Cancer placements in personal planets (including Sun) and people always compliment my cookies when I go to parties, lol. I've even been told I should have my own business selling them too.

Ladies, let's get those tantalizing jpgs rolling up here as your work comes out of the oven.

I don't doubt for a second that there's a Pisces or Virgo or Scorpio woman out there who's going to have us drooling all over our keyboards.

Really?

It's starting to look like we need an impartial judge on this question.

Gosh, I thought the call for an impartial judge might bring a Libra out of the woodwork. No such luck.

Well, the big day is approaching and we've got to get this thread moving along.

So, without further ado, I offer Exhibit A, which arrived here yesterday in a classic brown paper bag.

Ha! Never let brown bags or plain-jane packaging fake you out. Let's take a look-see inside. (BTW, these are real-time goodies, no cut-and-paste from the web.)

Okay, nice foil wrapped sampler, topped with a tasteful and unpretentious bow. What've we got under the aluminum?

Whoa! Would you look at that color! The Blue Plate sets everything off very nicely. Anyone care to venture a sign based on the rich array of hues?

How about a zoom on this, cameraman?

Need I say, this is not the work of some backyard mechanic. Look at that Nutroll! And Iced White Pretzel Stars, nice thick Roll-Outs, several traditional Chocolate Chip numbers peeking through. That cellophane wrapped centerpiece appears to be a slice of breakfast-type roll, contents to be disclosed at end of contest. New to me - an intricately crafted green item (4th House) with green icing and red cinnamon hearts, obviously a take-off on Holly.

The killer, though, is that faded lipstick red heart on the cusp of the 7th/8th, placed strategically over the Christmas Tree Roll-Out. Am I reading too much into this?

Oh, I almost forgot - the chocolate candy and nut cluster adornments. The woman who submitted this entry apparently feels that The Judge needs to put on a few pounds (kilos). No problem. Did I say anything about health in the original post?

All right - Chubs is standing by for the next entry. Be sure to indicate signs, or let the board guess.

The creation of my children so far.

Two easy one will be produced tomorrow.
I only make 70-100 pieces per pastry.

No planets in Cancer. Maybe that is the reason they do not look so good .

Anyway I am good in posting this one.

Looks pretty yummy to me, Gemini. Is that a gingerbread on the left? Do you have names in your language for the different pieces?

I bet the folks here would love to see your kids in the kitchen. If privacy is a concern, you can disguise them with icing mustaches.

You and your children keep up the good work.
And thank you for your post.

Sorry for my tardiness in posting this entry from last week. Been having trouble of late pushing away from the dinner table.

Check out the nice sampler below - from a woman who spares no effort in rolling out the YuleTide goodies.

Contest closes midnight December 31, 2016.

If you'll excuse me, I believe I'll crawl out to the kitchen to make sure everything's safe and sound. Remember people, fat is good - at least for another 35 hours or so.

Hi Gem,
Sorry I can't tell you at the moment where her moon is.

But I know her heart is in that cream-cheese frosting. And her Sun sign is Cancer.
