So I am having some intense transits right now. Saturn is currently conjunct my natal Neptune and Neptune is about 3 degrees away from my squaring my natal Mars.

Has anyone experienced this? What do you think this would cause?

The transit of saturn to neptune may at the beginning feel heavy as your dreams may be challenged by reality checks. however, if you befriend saturn and use its strenghts, it can be a period of shapping and bring to reality some dreams.

one way to go around this transit is to make more plans and follow through with ideas that are neptunian (art related, spiritual, etc) making something of practical use and trying to validate them against reality. it can be anything neptunian. saturn will make sure that anything not standing the reality check will shatter...

as for Mars-neptune: this one is more challenging, but not without a solution. it the energy is not manage properly it can bring violence from outside. one way to go around the enegy created by this aspect is to do something with the body that is neptunian (yoga, dance, gymastic, etc) the more your soul is involved when doing these activities, the more you are releasing the energy in a positive way.

it may be difficult to know what you really want during this period as neptune tends to confuse the ones of other with your own. it will be difficult (and not advisable) to act based only on selfish motives. this is not the time to be selfish, but neither the time to sacrifice. if you forget your own will and become submissive to the collective or others will, then you can become a martir and a victim. instead, try to find outlets for the fighting spirit of mars that involve the collective and the better worlds full of compassion. fighting for more compassion is a good use of this energy, fighting for a more inclusive lack of boundaries universe is a way to work with this energy. what it is important is to keep awareness that neither mars nor neptune can be ignored.

being selfish will bring the fure of neptune, which will bring guilt and even physical symptoms. Hear neptune voice, hear your dreams, hear what discomfort you about the world and energies in the world and ACT, take action (mars)...

hope this help!

Saturn is currently transiting my Neptune.
Bad parts: I realised I've been living in dreamland and if I continue like that nothing will change. Which is not news for me really, but with Saturn right now, it really hit me. I literally see myself older in the mirror these days (yeah I know you get older every day, but this is shocking what I see now). It's very hard not to be pessimistic with "I screwed up my life"-type of thoughts.

Good parts: I realised I've been living in dreamland and if I continue like that nothing will change. So I started making more concrete plans to actually change something (I wasn't able to make any plans lately since my Uranus/Moon transit).
I feel Saturn is like this force that pulls Neptune down, so pulling down on your dreams, yeah, but in the same time it has the power to ground them. And I needed this grounding so much, as with Uranus I started getting closer to discovering who I am, but still, no change actually happened, because everything was so chaotic. Now I can finally make plans.

Saturn is the force that shattered my Neptune-mirror of dreams, which now has fallen on the ground. Saturn picks up one piece after another and sticks them one by one into the palm of my hand, so hard that it hurts, but he just wants me to take a look at it and see for what it is, see if it's a part of me or just another illusion.

Cinnamon sky, may I ask in which house does this transit take place and what houses do Saturn and Netune rule in your natal chart?

Well, tSaturn is now conjuncting MY natal Neptune, while tNeptune opposes my natal Saturn. So this is a time of disillusionment for me from old dreams, while I am also realising some true dreams I have. tNeptune also conjunct my SN right now, and I am not sure how this plays part in what happens to me right now.

interesting koniucha, i have same transit like you transiting saturn is on my natal neptune squaring natal mars...like Avelet, i have had big disillusionment regarding to my academic path lately whereas i managed to get all the credentials and the best rates and highest honourable mention...so the failures come not from my acadamic profile which shines but from undergoing hidden process and veiled hatred and jealous from professor who bypassed me or misdirected me.

now i'm lost. But i feel less deluded than when i had transiting pluto on my natal neptune because i didn't know astrology. This time as i saw saturn coming on my natal neptune making square to my mars-mercury conjunction in 7th in pisces, i made lot of efforts everyday all the previous year to told me you will probably face disappointement and block from others or sth, so at least my mind stayed the most grounded as possible so i feel less the damage of the deception could bring when you should expect things happening after all the efforts as rewards well deserved. I have now the feeling all i did in my life who gather some nice academic awards doesn't bring anything and i feel so upset...i can't find professionnal outlet for what i learned...

as i have neptune in the 4th and pluto leaving the 4th crossing the 5th anf back and forth, my family is undergoing a lot of drama, crumbling, lots of unsaid things undermining relationships between family members then you can feel the gnawing hate and hostility between close relatives. But, paradoxically, i manage well those hostiles forces as i am aging probably because i am saturnian and i know what is hate so well...

fortunately, we are sustained by the Trine From uranus in aries to saggy neptune and the sextile from jupiter in libra, so maybe we can find others options to get back in the running but no words, just a look that hit you to the core and sometimes even not a single look...

But with the square to mars, i don't know where to go...no job offer matching with my type and probably job seeking will be hard since i have neptune square MC starting soon...i am blocked, and got a lot of pressure from pluto square pluto and i don'think i can find anything for me until 2018 when saturn will enter capricorn.

i would like to say that what Cinnamon sky said is really true i saw myself aging in the mirror suddenly like i never myself such in advanced state of decaying... maybe it's transiting saturn who allow you to see the true picture of yourself where as neptune rose glasses made you unaware of this until now. Your real face unveiled.

from a body point of view, i feel like my back bone is unrooted and sclerosed.

The first time I was hit by Tr saturn to my natal Neptune-NN-conjunction was around my birthday in december 2015, so the transit was part of my Solar Return this year, the last actual hit was in mid-end september 2016.

It was a very important year for me, it`s still kinda difficult to say how.

I had a baby!

My son has Mars/Saturn conjunct my Neptune/NN.

As I have Neptune/NN square both my Sun and Moon, the Saturn transit hit those as well.

I do think that it causes us to become more focused on the basics of our lives (think root chakra stuff, maybe?), but also in my case actually created a more serious and diligent approach to my spiritual well-being.

I'll add that it was a very difficult pregnancy for me (I was in "false labor" for a week, walking around with painful contractions, although his actual birth was absolutely the easiest, which surprised me).

I also almost had a miscarriage in the first term, and was on bed rest for over a week, moved a few times, and finally bought a new house after renting a horrible nightmare.

But in all, not a bad transit for me.

Violets,

"I had a baby!"

Well, I actually became an aunt, and since we are really a tight family unit, it completely restructured our family, and as someone remarked today I am completely in love with my brother``s little boy.

BTW when the little one was being born (4th august) Tr Saturn was conjunct my brother`s Uranus (0), Jupiter (1) and Moon (2).

Also Tr Saturn was conjunct the mother`s SN exact and her Uranus by 4 degrees.

I think it is safe to say that the birth of that baby made them both grow up and mature immensely.

Well Tr Saturn at that time was just 6 minutes of my Neptune and 11 minutes of my NN.

Interestingly I have a Neptune-NN-conjunction and my brother as well as his son have a Neptune-SN-conjunction natally.
Like father like son - just for my brother it was on the Sag/ Cap axis, for my nephew it is on 11-12 Pisces.

Funny enough my next Solar Return Moon will be exactly conjunct my nephew`s natal Sun. Funny, right?

It was not an easy birth though, my brother`s girlfriend had to have a Caesarean section; but apart from this everything went okay, so it wa snot that difficult either, and I guess every birth is nervewracking for the family involved.

I remember though when my mom called me to tell me of the birth, I was standing on a station, waiting for my train to arrive, I instantly called my brother, and I remember that my voice was breaking cause I was actually crying and just repeating again and again how much I loved them all. I think my brother never actually HEARD those words from me before. But if something happend through that birth and other developments last year then it was that tremendous feeling and recptivity to acutally embrace and accept love, as well as not feeling embarrassed to show it.
I mean I was standing at a trainstation and then in the train and was crying for the next half an hour. It was surreal (my Aqua-Moon felt a little overwhelmed. lol)

But yeah that was huge!

"My son has Mars/Saturn conjunct my Neptune/NN."
My nephew actually waited until Mars was entering Sag again (and conjunct my own Mars. lol)

he has

Mars 00 Sag
Saturn 09 Sag

so not quite conjunct, but closish.

"I do think that it causes us to become more focused on the basics of our lives (think root chakra stuff, maybe?), but also in my case actually created a more serious and diligent approach to my spiritual well-being."
Yes, suddenly it becomes VERY crystalclear what is really important and what not.

Some really sad stuff happened too like my friend losing her Mom very quickly and unexpectedly to Cancer, which not only shocked and saddened me but also had me take a lot baggage on that she of course couldnīt carry alone, just emotional stuff really, but admittedly it was kinda tough having the same talks for weeks and actually months at least 3-4 times a week. But it was what she needed, so that was all that mattered. But it took a toll on me, I must say.

And then there was of course the whole Mr Sag stuff, too.

Ceridwen, you are a wonderful friend and aunt/sister. Hats off to you for being there so unconditionally for a friend.

Neat that your nephew and my son were born only 16 days apart!

Anyway, not trying to hijack the thread.

Thanks Cinnamon sky, these are also my placements!
I was expecting that Saturn conjunct Neptune would affect the areas of my home and relationships/love. Much depends on accompanying transits for sure.

I read that you are now going through Uranus/Moon transit. I had Uranus square Moon some years ago and I would say that this transit was great for exploring new opportunities and coming up with original ideas. I was doing many things on my own and did new things that broadened my horizons. But yeah, some stability might be more difficult to achieve though during these transits, unless you are having helpful Saturn transits.

This is what I notice.

Saturn just entered my 1st house, where Neptune is. I can feel that it has brought a stronger sense of reality. I have Mars in my 12th, so I think Saturn made me realize the bad men that I attract or are attracted to me. Mars is also conjunct Neptune. I do feel Saturn shattered the fantasies that weren't working for me.

For Mars square Neptune, I'm not sure. I have that energy in my chart already, so I'm used to it. I have lost the desire to drink. It actually suddenly upsets my stomach very easily.
