Can anybody share with me what it has felt like having pluto in their 9th house natally? I have mine there (in sagittarius) but I have never really understood it.. All the descriptions kind of confuse me and I can't follow through. I just keep thinking that pluto would create power struggles with people who try to teach you things and it gives you powerful/hardcore beliefs lmao

For you, with Pluto in Sagittarius, it will be the same pretty much, as the 9th house is the house of Sagittarius. I have Sun and Jupiter in the 9th house, so they express themselves in a Sagittarian way, finding out the truth. My Sun is in Gemini so I have the need to know everything (I have Pluto in Scorpio on the 3rd house cusp, so my Pluto in Scorpio character is obsessed with knowledge), but it goes way deeper because it's in the 9th house. It doesn't effect my character at all, as I'm not extremely jovial and energetic like Sun sign Sagittarians tend to be, it's just how my Gemini Sun and Taurus Jupiter express themselves.

May really struggle to find God. May struggle to hone out your spiritual beliefs This seems to be the most manifested way Pluto plays out, from the charts I have done.

I have Pluto in my 9th and 10th house, and I related to the interpretation that the native seeks to discover the "mysteries of life". It's true, I'm very interested in the occult, paranormal or spiritual stuff, while the rest seem uninterested in such topics. It also suggests a "transformation" regarding your former beliefs, and I certainly went from not believing in destiny and reincarnation (since both my parents were Roman Catholics) to believing it, thanks to astrology. I also don't believe now that we will go to hell or purgatory when we die, since some souls still linger in Earth after dying. Heaven? Maybe. But our soul will live on, that's for sure.

When Pluto was transiting my 9th,I was angry with religion, challenged "God" and wanted to understand why life sucked so much.

I think Pluto may personalize things a lot, so disagreements about education, religious beliefs and the existence of God can turn into all out WAR.

With Pluto in 9th, you may even go as far as to sever ties with people that don't share your beliefs or go on a mission to disprove the beliefs that you do not agree with.

Pluto in 9th may also manifest inner lifelong struggles with regards to keeping an open mind when it comes to;

-racial mixing i.e are you "for" or "against"?

-foreigners living in the country of your birth and taking up positions in society.

-political views/ideologies both those that you agree and disagree with

-same-sex marriage and coupling i.e either you accept it or you vehemently oppose it.

-local languages vs. international ones i.e English

-Cultural migration shift or changes.

-Educational institutions and the state of higher education. Are we learning at all in school or has school become redundant?

-Religious beliefs i.e abandon or review?

-The purpose of life. Some suicidal thoughts or issues with the unfairness of life may visit you again and again.

In many ways, you may become invested in answering the BIG questions for yourself and find casual conversation irritating or bogus.

You may travel and such travel may have a profound impact on your thinking. Or you may meet up with a "near death" experience whilst traveling and be profoundly uplifted by it.

Other people may come to know you as someone they should not disagree with because you may dominate the conversation to a point where you are literally forcing others to agree with you.

In many ways the 9th house shapes our external experiences of the world and those with whom we interact with.So it is really a very important house and its themes always relevant; whether war is being waged or peace is being negotiated.

So Pluto there may propel the individual to want to be at the heart of such exchanges i.e to take a more active and visible role in society

Because Pluto in 9th suggests that by progression and solar Arc ,Pluto will conjunct the natal MC.This often indicates someone who wants to make profound changes that impact the world.
