I've read on various astrology sites that Saturn in the 8th isn't a good placement UNLESS it's in Capricorn which it rules or Aquarius where it's the traditional ruler. Apparently, if Saturn is in the 8th house in either of these signs then it's actually strengthened and may allow you to live a long life since Saturn is considered the planet of time and staying one place for a long time. Do you think this is true?

I would think that Saturn in 8th would actually be a good placements as Saturn slows
down the unpredictable nature of the 8th.More especially when Saturn is in its own signs of Aqua and Cap and Lib(exalted)

It would also then stand to reason that Saturn would also slow down accidents or death(both 8th house associations)

This is just one indicator and other factors have to be considered i.e the Moon, Ceres(possibly) etc.

I have Saturn Rx in Aqua in 8th H.
I've read that it brings longetivity but it makes you suffer from health problems. It indicates late bloomers or not at all bloomers. It also indicates stingy husband/wife because the 8th H is the 2nd H of the 7th H, I mean it's husband's/wife's 2nd house.
If Saturn is also Lord of the 7th H it also indicates late marriage/not at all marriage/marriage with an older/coldhearted one.
Problems with heritages..These feel like a burden to me.
And generally what I said above applies to me too. Well I don't know about longevity yet..

Yes, Saturn delays everything and in the 8th - it "delays" death. I don't think the health is fragile.
Except for chronic constipation.

And also - all the money in their life will come from their hard work, self reliant. Nobody gives them money or gifts.
They rarely live on credits either.

You'll probably live to 220 years old.

Saturn slowing down the rate of accidents and near-death experiences makes total sense to me. I never thought of it that way!

Yep all of that applies to me. I didn't lose my virginity until I was 23. I also do have health issues (my moon is in the 6th) and sometimes I feel like I convince myself that I'm sick when I'm not.

The money thing is true. I've never made my own money easily. Things don't just fall into my lap like some people, but I think that makes me more hard-working.
