Ten Planets Conjunct the South Node and What They MeanThe SN gets short shrift, in my opinion. In synastry, people seem to think it is bad if a partners planets conjunct one’s SN. I disagree. The SN is warm comfy slippers that one has worn out, such that they fit just right, albeit look a bit ratty. The north Node is new brown leather loafers, shined just right, with a proper penny put in the slot. The NN is aspirational. Yes, we need to put on our proper loafers and walk out the dorr. However, when we get home, we put on our fluffy slippers. In synastry, if a person puts personal planets on your SN, you will feel very familiar with him. This is a lovely feeling, such as one has with one’s childhood best friend. As one ages, one does not find this sweetness and innocence one had so readily as a child. If one does, it is rare and would be Moon trine Moon or Moon conjunct Moon. It may be the Child Asteroid conjunct another person’s Moon. At any rate, it is rare. I say this to say, that one must not overlook the SN. With that said, let’s look at planets conjunct the SN in the natal. Planets Conjunct the SN in the Natal Sun— This person will have a natural self confidence. Likely, he will not have an ego crisis or identity issues. Lucky him! Moon–This native will have an easy access to his own emotions. He will be in touch with his own heart. Lucky him! Mercury–This native will have an easy time communicating this thoughts. He will be a natural. Venus–This native will be able to love easily. Love vibes may radiate from him Mars–This native will find it rather easy to set goals and go after them. He may be a teacher of assertiveness training. If he is not, he should be because it will come easily to him. Saturn–This native will be well disciplined in the manner of a Capricorn. He can be counted on to be mature and get the job done, whatever it takes. Jupiter–This native will be positive. He will shine joy and optimism wherever he goes. We could name him Little Mr Sunshine Uranus–This native will be out of the box. Don’t expect him to conform but he will be weird in a wonderful way, which others could only wish they could emulate Pluto–This native will have the charisma and moves of James Bond. Don’t cross him but he will be loyal, if you are, too. Pluto rocks in this word of plastic bananas and rock and roll. Chiron–This native will understand pain. If you are hurting, he will not push you away with a platitude. He knows the depths of pain and he can help another who is swimming, therein. IP: Logged |

SN contacts are definitely a soulmate aspect. Just learned that recently . My SN conjuncts Chiron, Mars and Venus, all in 10 H. It's not an easy placement (in particular, the house), but I like how you point out all the positive things here. I'm definitely a counselor/wounded healer, like you, Ami IP: Logged |

BLMaybe, Chiron would be the one that really counted being the closest. That is a hard one to have conj a Node, though. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Yeah, it's slightly ironic despite my Cap Moon :-/ I mean, I am not unhinged by any stretch of the imagination but it's just a constant battle between Uranus and Saturn and I am left battle-torn in between. I think I can actually hear them both inside my head: Saturn: be still you nuisance ******!! *is annoyed* Uranus: *ROTFLOL* whatever, you grumpy degenerate! Saturn: I am warning you, you Einstein-wannabe... Jupiter: *eats popcorn while reading about unstable astrological aspects* Uranus: I ain't listening to YOU, Saturnuz-Schmurnuz!! Saturn: *plots the end of all things Uranus* I will wear you down and don't care if it'll take me 134,5 years!! *goes to bed* Jupiter: *eats popcorn while reading about astrological misfortunes within the same entity* IP: Logged |

Hi Ami. May I make a special request? How about you do a thread on planets squaring the nodes? Some of us actually have this aspects and let me just say, it's a challenge like no other. I have read quite a bit about it, but it would be nice to get your take on this. IP: Logged |

I have Saturn square Uranus, too. It's just like that only my Mercury forms a t-square with them. Off topic edit IP: Logged |

From my experience planets conjunct SN in natal doesnt mean the native masters the energy, but rather that he/she comes back to repeat the lesson from the planet, that he/she has karma related to the planet. They may have neglected the lesson the planet represents and now they need to learn it if they want or not.IP: Logged |
