Can anyone tell me what it's like or what it means to have north node conjunct saturn. My mother has this placement (2 degree orb, in aries) and I haven't been able to find much information on it.

I have this placement in the 12 house in Virgo. The best interpritation that I have been given : It means that you will have to be patient and persistent in finding your way forward in life. Learning to accept obstacles and develop patience in overcoming them must first mean that you learn to see the positive in those hinderences.

I have this in my 3rd house Virgo, with Saturn in the 2nd. It is quite a wide conjuction of 7 deg but I feel the vibe of it.
Especially with Mars conjuct the SN. I don't know how much patience I may have at times with obstacles and restrictions.

I'm also looking forward to seeing a few more interpretations

My daughter has the opposite.

Saturn conjunct SN opposite Moon conjunct NN. That has to be significant.

I posted about it on Ami's discussion but I'll speak more about it here

I have my NN conjunct Saturn in Capricorn (exact) in my 2H. So as you can tell, it's hitting me pretty hard in terms of finances and jobs (or lack of). Also, I'm not kidding when I say the process is slow - Saturn really delays even more I believe when it's next to the NN. I'm about to be 26 this month and I have seen...well nothing yet in terms of my career and money.

Your success is 100% going to depend solely on yourself and how much work you put into it. There's absolutely no easy way out or shortcuts, and the more help you seek or or the more you try to depend on others, the more your success will be delayed. This is most true especially in the Earth houses.

I think the most distinct thing about this has to be the deep-rooted feeling of inadequacy. Feeling defeated and incompetent for no reason. Feeling defeated by time itself, and how it feels as if everyone else is on their way to fulfilling their dreams and purpose - except for you.

It will bring delay in the sign & house it sits in. I personally made my first big leaps career wise at 33. Didn't start to see it cone together until 35, now at 37 I'm feeling very good and free. Saturn takes so long because not only are you supposed to get and achieve but you are supposed to become your own authority. Making money is nice, but the freedom I have in just knowing is ...climactic.. over and over again lol (how else to say how great it is..) You will feel your SN channeling itself into your NN. The sense of balance is wonderful. It'll be your mercy and blessing if you're still working on other things. You'll feel the pressure if you set inflexible goals. Actually try to work with Uranus to make it easier. Take you lessons in stride.
