i just realized now, if someone was overly virgo, they are overly analytical, they see deep down all the little details, where as most other signs would just ignore them or see the bigger idea, a virgo might think it's unimpressive if a put-together video was non-timed or choppy.

i am thinking someone pretty strong in virgo. sun in6th maybe or a few planets + sun.

so that lead me to think each element or sign dominant might cause them to feel different than the majority, and they feel that the majority is lesser than them in the way that they are.

a fire dominant will feel that the rest of the world is kind of wusses, who need jackets in the rain, who try to put lots of effort to get around a puddle, just basically people are too sensitive, while a fire dominant would run through that stuff and punch themselves in the face just for fun. in this way the world to them, might seem overly prissy or girly.

but i think it goes down to each sign, like i said about virgo, they might think everything is "poor quality" such as put together videos (im talking pretty strong in virgo), if something is off time, if something is not built well, or something 'misses the mark'. they might see this constantly, even if its small, while others dont really care or notice or focus on it, this may cause the virgo dominant to feel 'superior' or better than others, simply because that is all they are, so they think that is the most important thing in life, and since they are teh best at it, they think they are better than everyone else, without realizing it's not important to everyone else.

but they will just think they are the best simply because they think that is all that matters, having things put together perfectly, thinking that is all that matters, and that they are good at it; therefore they are better than a large majority.

so it goes to signs i'm sure, i guess for aries it would be about being daring and confident with your character, most people will not stick out in a crowd and show off their character very much, the aries might see them as kind of non-fun and not confident.

havnt really thought much beyond those 2.

I have all three fire signs, and a stellium in Sagittarius. I don't find the world prissy or '***** '.

I believe sometimes people take my extroversion as arrogance, but I'm just trying to say hi. I feel sometimes more 'yin' energy people expect me to play myself down so that they don't feel intimidated. I believe that's unfair, and a bit envious of them.

I do have boundaries, and won't talk to you in such a strong way, and won't joke with you, if I don't know you, or feel you're a serious person.

I don't believe/think I'm better than anyone. I believe some people believe they're better than me. They may find the excessive fire in my chart too barbaric, childish, and 'offensively' overt. It's them who think they're better than me, not me thinking I'm better than them.

hm yeah i could very very wrong lol. well i thought it could be true, interesting you and ceri are both apparently fire dominant (at least with your fire suns in fire houses) yet both of you seem kind of water to me, maybe i just mistake sag energy for water for some reason, but i dont do that with aries23degrees, so i'm not sure why. in fact i tihnk i sometimes mistake my water elements in my progressed chart (sun in 12th) for being fire, when they are water, haha.

but sometimes when i eat meat, my sun re-gresses to my former p. chart and it goes stronger into the first (i tune into that part more from meat) and then i know what fire is, constant movement, water is more passive and relaxed (for me), and thinking, and feeling, and spiritual, fire is movement and doing things.

so yeah i wonder what you are like IRL same with CERI i think i might be misunderstanding fire energy because you guys dont seem super fire-y more watery, and i even got pics of sun in fire suns in fire houses and they seemed very fire, kind of hot-boiling melting pot people.

anyway yeah inputs are good to accurize if there is anything to being an element dominant or sign dominant, if it causes you to feel a certain way to the majority who (probably 90+%) do not feel the same energy dominance you have and thus do not prioritize the same things that you do.

You don't seem judgmental to me. I was talking about people from my childhood. I was probably projecting some of my pain from youth.

My watery feeling you're getting from me is my Venus in Scorpio, and Pisces rising, probably.

Ha I do not even have to give my input myself, Soren did it for me. Thank you.

I was puzzled by that myself for the longest of time, actually ever since I started doing astrology.
Fire dominant me??????
Every test I did had me as a water-type mostly.

(Liz Greene has a great description of the Fire element though that I completely identify with, and i am usually not that big of a fan of hers).

But yeah, no talking around it, I have a lot planets in Sagittarius

Sun, Mercury, Mars, Neptune, plus ASC and NN

Anyway I ALSO have Neptune conjunct my ASC, and the dispositor of all these Sag-planets is Jupiter in PIsces, in mutual reception with Neptune and in fact squaring Mars-Neptune-NN-ASC.

although in the pics, i definitely looked more fire dominant wen sun still in 1st.

Ehm, interesting idea you got there, Soren. And yeah, I've certainly come across Virgos who think they are better than others, or rather, who state that - it doesn't mean that they actually think they are, I think when someone strongly feels this it actually shows a low self confidence.

I think there can be two versions of this. One person, who, as the above example, feels that all others are inferior (which IMO is the actual inferiority complex of that person) and the other version would be a Virgo who notices all the small details and realises the others don't, but he owns his abilities, doesn't feel inferior, so this person would proudly use their abilities constructively and would also consider them a useful skill.

I think many people are having issues/ feelings of inferiority when they realise that something they are good at is not considered welcome in their group/ society. Like noticing details, in case of Virgos might be called being "nit-picky", but it's a natural talent of theirs. Feeling wide range of emotions in case of water signs again, same thing. And so on.
But when one starts owning their "power" and using it constructively that they don't see it as something that makes them inferior or superior IMO.

yes true. i am not sure if it is something or just because i have a few planets in first houses/ signs (jupiter in fire sign & mars, sat, merc, + sun in fire houses)

but i can feel a bit too hard core, i would sprint when i lived in cities and no one else was, i watch prank things and most of the people seem a bit overly sensitive, so instead of having the over abundance of nit pickiness/noticing details, which is a strength, i have animousity where others seem to lack.

so i wonder what it would be for each sign, i think you need to be quite dominant in an element/sign to really feel it, then again sulky is pretty much fire dominanted and did not express that trait. (moon, sun , few planets, all in fire signs&houses all mentioned)

I'm extremely Earth-dominated. My brain is dead for the night so I don't have much to say about it, but I do feel different and it's not just my dominant Earth element.

Still, if we're staying on subject, I imagine that my Earth element makes me come across as older than I really am. It's a pain finding friends, and if I've judged the world in any way, it's the fact I feel like an outcast in a cold, lifeless wasteland. Earth isn't really like that - it's just the feeling I get from being an outcast. And, I think I've been judging the world too harshly. It's a relatively recent realization that I've been over-censoring myself when it isn't necessary. To be honest, it took me a while to see it and the whole over-censoring thing is why I've been feeling like an outcast. I'm pretty sure I play a role in my own difficulties.

However, it's getting easier to make friends, because I'm getting older and the other people in my age group are beginning to move into the world. In the past, my adult-like personality caused me to feel left out, but now my age group is starting to become more like adults themselves. Strangely enough, finding so many younger people on the Internet motivated me to move forward in my life in ways I couldn't before.

I think my habits were enabled by having so many people on the Internet that were around my age and lately that has been feeling less the case. There aren't as many people around my age anymore and I'm starting to become the "cool older sister" figure to the younger generation. It feels like I was part of the younger generation just yesterday, but the situation has reversed. I'm not finding people older than me anymore, just younger people and the gap is going to keep increasing.

The main reason I used to appear more mature than most of the people my age is probably because my generation hasn't gone through our first Saturn Return yet. After my first Saturn Return, I'll probably find that I come across as younger than most people instead of older. Right now though, I'm in a transition period. I don't seem older or younger than my age in my opinion. I'm sure most people would at least guess that I'm in my 20's. Of course, this depends entirely on my mood and the topic I'm responding to.

This post makes me feel like I'm oozing Saturn influence, but really, I have more than just Capricorn in my chart.

Here are the "Earth" placements in my chart:
-Sun in Taurus
-Venus in Taurus
-Jupiter in Virgo
-Uranus in Capricorn
-Neptune in Capricorn
-Midheaven in Virgo
-North Node in Capricorn

Hey Lerene thanks for reply,

I am curious about house placements cause I am believing they are pretty powerful as well. 'specially the sun.

you said "it looks like a barren wasteland" and that is totally an earth thing, i never thought that in my life, when i look out at society, i dont see it for the land, but understanding of what is going on. so i think that shows your earth influence right there, even though you said you didnt think it was earth that caused that.

what do you mean when you censor yourself too much you feel like an outcast? cause you cant express your true feelings and thoughts, so you basically dont say anything at all? hm, that sucks. i too think i am like an outcast, for some reason i am different, and i kind of look more like a black person with similar characteristics than a white man, even though i am white. so i think i am somewhat of an outcast. i think it is from something else. maybe in the chart.

If I don't express my true thoughts and feelings, that tells me I am an outcast and I don't belong. Outcasts are not accepted for who they are so not being able to express myself honestly isn't a good sign to me. But, I am beginning to realize that no one is censoring me except for myself. I'm trying to stop censoring myself so I can feel less like an outcast, because I think I am contributing to my own feelings. Still, there will always be things that make me stand out, regardless.
