Hi Nine,

I read in one of the threads you brought the issue of someone feeling or not feeling the other person is the natal or progressed moon was not in the sign or the sun or the ascendant of the other person.

so person A moon (either natal or progressed) is not in either sun-AC of person B natal or progressed sign, the person A does not feel person B. I am getting this right?

does your theory also apply to aspects? or it needs to be in the same sign?

you also bring the yin-yan perspective, which I find it suitable in my personal case.

Just wanted to invite you to elaborate on your theory and have this thread to discuss and dig more into it, if you wish.

Thank you!

Yes.

The Moon is the feeling planet, it is the part of the horoscope that five a person "that feeling". In progressed synastry the Moon is the fastest moving planet, thus is shows where a person's mind is, and since the moon is attractive, it also shows what a person is attracted to & where the needs/feeling are being met. This won't guarantee a relationship, but if one is to start, that moon must be aspected.

Theory:

1. The conjunction is the only aspect where two planets are physically next to each other. Thus, the conjunction aspect is the only aspect strong enough to bring two people together. Some people are very strict with their orbs, I am not. So long as the planets are in the same sign, I count that as a conjunction - in progressed synastry.

The other aspects are important, but to get things off the ground you'll need a coming together first, as well as someone "catching feelings". For that this to happen a conjunction must be involved.

2. Like attracts like - Aries is attracted to Aries. Opposites also attract - Aries male is attracted to Aries female.

3. The progressed moon, research has shown, is most attracted to the Sun & the Ascendant. The Sun gives the moon the light it needs to come alive. The Asc represents the physical body.

Examples:

Lets look at the relationships of Brad Pitt. His last three partners were: Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Gwenyth Paltrow.

I tried with some of my exes here the results:

1.-ex-husband (I dont have his TOB)
my progressed moon was in same sign of his progressed sun when we meet and the attraction was instant.
of course there were many things going on in natal and in progress. just an example
his progressed sun was conjunct my natal mars-sun-venus stellium

2.- ex-partner (we met and fall for each other deeply. it took off immediately)
his progressed sun was in the same sign of my progressed moon
his progressed moon was in the same sign of my progressed sun

I am just impressed. of course we also have atraction overly in synastry with tons of yin-yan combination. actually i have read that when only these things are in progressed, one the progression move on, the attraction fades.. unless the natal also have similar patterns.

3. ex-lover (he was immediately attracted and asked me out same day he met me)
my progressed AC was making an opposition to his natal moon. no conjunction
my progressed sun was making a trine to his natal moon
his progressed moon was making trine to my natal sun-mars-venus

I would say that for the moon to feel, it needs to be touched by aspect, not necessarily by conjunction or same sign. however I would like to hear more of your supporting evidence.

best
