My dad is a Taurus Ascendant conjunct Mars in Gemini. His birth certificate puts his Taurus Ascendant at 27 degrees, but he expresses much more Gemini-like qualities. He's very witty, always making jokes every chance he gets and he's extremely difficult to argue with because he knows the power of words. He knows exactly what to say to get the response he's looking for, and that reminds me of Gemini so much. His Mars is in Gemini and his Mercury is in Virgo, making his Mars very mercurial.

With my Mars on my Ascendant, many people have stated that I do not fit the typical description of a Scorpio rising. This has been compared with one who has no planets on his rising and another who has Moon conjunct Scorpio Ascendant. Some traits do apply to me, but my Scorpionic tendencies are very hidden from the public. Reading Aries rising to them, they seem to feel like it fits me more than the Scorpio Rising, meaning that while I do express the qualities of being a Scorpio ascendant, such as being observant, reading between the lines, and am quite quiet, I also express the Marsian energy quite frequently as well.

What are your experiences?

That's an interesting way of how it works out. It's kind of similar to how mine works out, where the Scorpio Ascendant kind of pushes people away from approaching me and then when they get to know me, they find the Marsian side of me come out.

With the current Uranus conjunct Asc in Aries at 20 Degrees,I am a bundle of nerves.

Its hard to remain calm- and even when I communicate,I feel energy pulsating through me that is not controllable.

I feel like I am on "standby" and that anything can happen at any given time with me. And it is quite exhausting as I am struggling to sleep peacefully and wake refreshed.

I don't have Uranus/Asc conjunct natally. But this experience has me convinced that the Asc may not be what I thought it was.

That it is far more "ingrained" in the person's expression than being the go-to "mask". Even in the subconscious sense of the word.

So when a planet conjuncts it, the expression of it is not conscious i.e

When Moon transits the 1st, you may be a lot more emotional and not understanding why you are responding so sensitively to things.Tears flow easily and there is a tendency to be moved/touched by sentimental stuff.

When Venus hits the 1st, you tend to minimize the "ugly" and uncomfortable. You may want to express your creativity more and feel more confident about the way you look so you may be more conscious of your wardrobe and avoid wearing the same things twice.

With Mars in 1st,you are easily irritated ,irritable and snap at people(even when you know yourself to be polite). Your emotions are easily aroused and you may feel your body temperature rise a lot more and insist that doors, windows be open and the air conditioner be on etc.You may avoid staying indoors as it feels so "confining"(As I do with Uranus here)

When Saturn transits the 1st, it is hard to laugh or smile. Everything feels so heavy and burdensome. You may feel your body be sensitive to coldness,aches and pains and it is hard to carry yourself around and that doing something spontaneous like running/ dancing is physically exhausting.

I think that the Asc sign also includes your quirks and mannerism:Things you can't help but do.So when a planet transits, you may develop certain quirks
