Deep Fears–Saturn in the Houses

I have Saturn in the Second House. However, I have never had poverty. I would think that Chiron in the second House would bode more for ACTUAL poverty. Saturn bodes for FEARS of poverty. Saturn seems to be deep fears, which may or may not be rooted in actual reality. Let’s explore!

Saturn in the Houses

House One

This native seems to grow up early. He is the proverbial “little old man” His fear may be that he cannot let loose. He has had to be so responsible that the little child within has buried himself very deeply.
House Two

This native may fear financial insecurity. No matter how much he has, he may feels he could lose it.

House Three

This native may fear embarrassing himself through saying something “stupid” i.e something that could bring ridicule.

House Four

This native may have felt as if his childhood home was cold. He may have felt he was not worthy to be loved. The deep sense that he is not worthy to be loved may be one of his deepest fears.

House Five

This native may feel he cannot let loose, play and “create.” His deep fear may be of looking silly if he lets himself relax and be free.

House Six

This native may have had chronic illness. If not, he may have felt that he was never good enough to help others. This Saturn placement may fear unemployment and the consequences of that. Hence, this native may fear either illness, joblessness or not being ‘good enough” to do works of service. In some houses, we have more diverse spheres represented than in many of the other houses. The sixth house is one. The eleventh is another.

House Seven

This native may have delays in getting married. Once married, the native may feel as if his marriage is very hard, in the manner of a difficult class in school. He may feel as if he has to trudge through his marriage.

House Eight

This native may be very uncomfortable with his primal passions, as if he should be above the animal nature, which is in us all. T This native may fear she is too “sexual”, too intense and/or too passionate and try to obviate the primal side of himself, in favor of the intellectual.

House Nine
This native may have delays in higher education. He may fear that he will never complete his education, although he has a great desire to do so.

House Ten

This native may have set backs in career. He may fear that he will never climb the ladder of success, in the manner in which he knows he is able.

House Eleven

This native may fear groups. He may fear that he will be humiliated in group settings

House Twelve

This native may fear that he is not creative enough or mystical enough. He may feel as if he is boring because he is too earth centered.

for the first, it is not for me fear that i cant let loose, but from not letting loose, i do take things pretty seriously. but i think saturn makes you take things seriously in whatever house it is, and for me, it is usually about taking too seriously what is happening with me, or what is going to happen (i am so messed up, or i am going to die)

so it is fear in association to the self, but your description helped narrow that down, and i exp.cd. saturn in 12th as well, and surprisingly your descrption was very accurate. it did seem completely non-creative, nonimaginary. just seeing things a bit "TOO" plainly for how they are. However it was relating to the metaphysical/intuitive/analytical realm. It seems saturn is a deep understanding, and whatever that house is, you have deep understanding, even too deep, and it is like a weight that is sinking into the understanding and makes you learn more and more even though it is painful.

Jupiter is a house where we have wonder and enthusiasm and see the bigger ideal or picture in a situation. Could be about friends (7th/11th) or about material things.

so does saturn in 2nd really grant a fear of losing the material? that is almost "too" accurate of how you would expect it to be, but i am sure it is quite true. i have never had that fear.

Saturn in the 10th here.

I didn't have any fears regarding my career; to the contrary it was the only thing I had self-confidence in for many years. And no set backs either.

The description of Saturn in the 10th that fits for me is devotion and responsibility to career, perhaps to the level of workaholism.

jupter in 6th is about seeing the bigger ideal of how material can be, helping others, charity, getting those material things where they should be for the best.

virgo is service because it is mutable, meaning bending to the environment, physical service because it is physical, pisces would be emotional service, bending to suit others emotions. a gemini will bend to match others suggestions (in a convo)

jupiter in 5th is about creating, and fun. when you laugh with friends, you really see the bigger thing, the whole situation, and it is funny. or when you create art, you go big, bringing in deep imagionings to make a funny scene which would be making you think of something higher, about life, or tackling strange social behaviours and making you take note, just a bigger idea. thats for leo.

@Delilah i am almost certain saturn has a certain negative fear in whatever area it is in. I do not believe in absolute negatives, i think the fears can strengthen us. Nor do I think saturn is merely fear, but a very structured mindset. But Surely there must be something it brings you down with. Before, any time, at some point in your life, when you have deep fears, i think it would be relating to your saturn.

My Natal Saturn placement:
quote:
House Three

This native may fear embarrassing himself through saying something “stupid” i.e something that could bring ridicule.

The Saturn placement I most relate to:

quote:
House Four

This native may have felt as if his childhood home was cold. He may have felt he was not worthy to be loved. The deep sense that he is not worthy to be loved may be one of his deepest fears.

Aquarius would probably rule my 4th house if my 2nd-8th axis wasn't intercepted. I have Saturn in Aquarius.

Still, I won't deny that I hate saying things that make me look stupid.

Saturn in 3rd house, house or communication.
I actually get anxiety attacks if i have to talk in front of a crowd. I struggled a lot with this when i was younger, but its still the same now and it annoys me.
I will be so confident, with my speech all prepared, but i still end up shaking and reading like im crying or get all emotional.

My Saturn is in house 9 but it's conjunct mc, would be in 10th in equal, and I can relate to both descriptions.

I dropped out of college and uni & changed courses before completing. I also took a year out to live overseas and completed my final yr of uni overseas. I really, really didn't want to as I wanted to finish by then so badly but felt obligated to do so for a relationship. It was difficult to negotiate completing remotely (saved all my dissertation modules up until the final year), there was limited access to resources and then, because I was studying remotely, my tutor was suspicious of my work and accused me of plagiarism when it was ironic that due to paucity of resources it couldn't have been less contaminated / more organic. So quite a lot of obstacles. Also some others that I won't go into. I really could go on and on.

But I feel career just as strongly. I'm very fearful in this setting, whereas I'm not in an academic setting, because I don't understand on some level why im worth being paid (Venus squares Saturn/mc) whereas I know that logically I am. The part that really rings a bell in that desc .. Fear of never succeeding 'In the manner in which he is able'

So 9th has more tangible egs of obstacles including an overseas one as per the house but 10th represents fears I feel more deeply & keenly inside. I think this just represents that I'm very much on the cusp. I wonder though based on that if cusps generally represent outer obstacles and then more inner ones.

Is interesting to me that the Venus square seems to have compelled those fears to the brink, in the form of a relationship and then monetary worth.

This is one of my favourite topics. I have sat 29.59 cap, and it p. several years former. So i experienced both, while in cap, there was fears of getting wounded, and i had deep uncomfortability within my body, like i just felt like a slug and it made me nervous, it was really uncomfortable at times. Now that it's p. to Aqua, sometimes my thoughts can seem devastating, like the things i understand and come to know, should kill a person. to just have everything seem completely void of reassurance, to find everything meaningless. that is saturn. it creates your toughest experiences. i must mention you should use all house systems to provide clues. and thanks to this post i finally realized why i was going through a very deep struggle. it was from saturn p. in 11th and aqua, so many deep horrible understandings on existence. before that it was just discomfort in my own body, then it was discomfort with my understanding of existence. In 12th it can be spiritual pain, you keep trying for goodness, yet you never feel good, and the world might seem to hate you and seem evil, out to get you for no reason, other than saturn in 12th connectivity to all. the 'anchor' i call saturn might make you a bit too connected for their taste

I'm trying to think of the type of people who are so hurt about illumanati/govt controlling everything, like its a conspiracy and all of society is sheep, i think that must be their saturn. not sure what house,

The good thing with Saturn is that if you stick with it and learn it's lessons, it will get better, unlike Chiron, which, always, seems to be a wound, at one level or another lol

I have other simple articles like this i.e Pluto in the Houses, Chiron in the Houses, Neptune, Venus, Mars, the Moon and Sun lol and will put them up later.

It seems like it gives everyone a chance to participate, which is what it is all about for me

Same here, although I feel more insecure about general intellectual ablities that will help me get a good career. But I haven't had too many major setbacks just yet. Maybe I will in the future though. I can attest to placing importance on career though.

I have Saturn in the 6th house. This place is often hyped up to be a source for problematic health issues, and I can't say that it's the case for me. My Saturn is also afflicted in the 6th, but you should know it's conjunct the DSC.

I guess the most troublesome thing for me with this placement is that I have had so much difficulty trying to get a job. Again though, due to my young age and laziness, Saturn makes it difficult to get one

I have Saturn at the second house too. I don't fear to be poor. As an artist I am used to have uneven incomes. I don't of course like it but who would?

I think my problem is that my feeling of personal security is shaken. And trusting issues. Working with that still.
