Apparently astro-charts.com uses wide orbs (I've seen up to 4° being used, so far). I'm in the process of going through listing orbs (in parentheses, next to the name). What a beautiful way to reinvent looking at Chiron! I once had a list of famous Chiron-people that fit the more doom-and-gloom aspect of the myth, but I much prefer your spin on the "wounded healer" theme of the asteroid. IP: Logged |

I think some of these folks definitely had a lot of suffering. What I like to remember is that life is usually a mix of good and bad for everyone. It's inspiring to me to take a panoramic view... @Isa quote:

I have a friend who is an aura teacher. She gives sessions in which she "removes" blockades from the aura.She is one of the few who would work for hours, working her as* off while other aura teachers would stop after 2 hours just for principle. She has saturn (discipline) and chiron conj the asc. Only one example i have from the top of my head but this confirms that chiron could indicate healing qualities. IP: Logged |

Faith, it's a tough one articulate. With all the energies
playing in my chart, that most of the time, I'm not sure what's responsible for what (blame Neptune conjunction Asc for that). But mostly, I'm not 100% sure what Chiron signifies, and it's energy too. I can post my chart if it helps .... IP: Logged |

This is so cool Faith. I've always thought of myself as Chiron-Moon, but my moon was always too far away and then when K rectified my chart it went back a degree further. It's at 6 Taurus and Chiron is at 13... Anyway, I LOVE Chiron. You like Teal Swan. Have you ever seen her video about finding your purpose by finding your negative imprint (wounding)? This is related to Chiron for me.

VERY interesting! Thanks, Enneline! I have Chiron on the MC if my chart is correct. I've read well over a hundred books on health, plus documentaries, magazines, trying all kinds of approaches (raw diet, cleansing fasts, etc). I am my own doctor. My daughter definitely has Chiron on the MC and she became an Emergency Medical Responder (fully trained in CPR, first aid, and so on) at age 13; she's still in training to be a paramedic. I've always been interested in finding what Chiron could signify in one's chart, besides hurt or wounds. My Chiron is in Taurus 10th house at 6deg. Trines Saturn rx in the 2nd.
Last summer I had my progressed New Moon. Sun/Moon where conjuct at 6deg Taurus, on my Chiron. Somebody at some point, I believe it was from this forum, suggested I could start healing of some sort for a steady firm income.
I seriously had been thinking of that for about a year now. I'm just so confused at the moment of which type of healing would suit me best to practice. (Neptune all over me :/) IP: Logged |

That is so cool. I was coming on here to ask about Chiron trine MC.
^ I have that and was wondering what it could mean.
Not in my actual job (on the job when I can), but I do what one might call chiron-related activities on the side. Sometimes it's an independent thing, but most times I find a way to integrate it into my job (maybe that's the trine - flowing into one other?).
