I love the dark topics. It must be because I have Saturn in Scorpio. Saturn drives one to unearth the sign in which it resides. Scorpio is all things taboo—- emotional and sexual. However, once in a while, a girl has to write about beauty and love.Venus is what we love. Venus is what we find pleasing. It is our “tastes” in music, clothes, home decor and that which we find pleasing in the personal mannerisms of others. You will see that each House which holds Venus will impart distinct traits. Each sign will, as well.
Venus in the Houses
1st House
This native will take time with her appearance. She, probably, will not run to the store in a ratty T shirt. She will, likely, be refined. She will likely have a refined sense of humor, as well.Venus in the first house confers beauty on the native, as well.
2nd House
This native has a particular need for material security. Her home would, likely, be well maintained i.e neat. One may be able to pop in at ANY time, without giving her a heart attack.( I can tell you NOT to do this with an earth void)
3rd House
This native will value communication. She will, likely, take pride in her communication skills, as well as her diction and vocabulary. She will be attracted to others who do the same. She may love to read, as well, and be curious about many topics.
4th House
This native values all things related to the home, such as cooking and home decor. This native, probably, has a wall of family photos. She, probably, has scented candles, fresh bread in the oven and home made soup on the stove. Cooking is a passion, but feeding those whom she loves is a bigger one.( I have a Cancer Moon, so trust me on this one)

5th House
This native loves to play. You know how a dog makes a “play bow” and then you are off? This native has the same joy for life. She values a sense of humor, so polish up your wit if you are interested in a 5th House Venus. She loves to hug, so be sure you are not repelled by the touchy/feely.
6th House
This native will value a work ethic. If one is fortunate enough to have her for an employee, one has scored bonus points. She will be steady when one needs a person who is not shallow or superficial. She can be counted on to be there when the going gets tough. That counts for a lot in this current world of superficial glitter and shallow appearances.
7th House
This native likes harmony in all things, whether that be relationships or surroundings. She will beautify her home and her personal appearance, such that she will make the most beautiful that which she has. Marriage means a great deal to her.
8th House
This native love depth. If you are shallow, take the first exit because this native will do that for you, if you don’t do it for yourself. This native may like dark, rich wood and ornate kinds of home decor such as rich tapestries. She may like music that contains great depth in the lyrics or the actual music itself. I think “Bolero” by Ravel, when I think of this House: also, Amy Winehouse.
9th House
This is my House. I love to learn. I love to read. I am curious about everything. I had a passion to find God from the time I was a little girl.(Unfortunately, it took hell for me to get there, but that is another story) The 9th House is the House of spirituality/God. It is the House of Higher Education, as well as the House of Astrology.
10th House
This native values his social position. He may have had a loving relationship with his dad. He values the trait of hard work. He must respect those with whom he shares his life. If he does not respect you, you will find yourself politely ushered to the front door and will hear it click behind you.
11th House
This native values her contributions to the larger world. She will, likely, be part of charities or causes which hold meaning for her.
12th House
This native will not love in a shallow manner. His love does not come cheaply. You must earn it and you must give him time to open up. What do they say? All good things take time.
