To me they are sensitive in different ways. MY personal experience has been this:

Scorpio Moon: feels hurt-retaliates in bone cutting words and/or plots "revenge"

Pisces Moon: feels hurt-becomes passive aggressive-stops believing in the "ideal"

Cancer Moon: feels hurt-shuts you out/starts crying/doesn't speak to you for 1 day-300 years-NEVER forgets and barely forgives

I love Scorpio Moons because I get them! The other two, not as much..

I would say Pisces is the most delicate, Cancer the most sensitive and Scorpio the most emotional.

delicate Pisces - too much empathy, they feel other people's emotions and can get overwhelmed easily, negative experiences may leave them hopeless with a broken worldview, most forgiving and flexible of the three

sensitive Cancer - emotional nature is more "personal" than Pisces, touchy, easily offended and negativity taints their view on the relationship rather than their worldview, may hold grudges

emotional Scorpio - I'd day the sturdiest of the three in terms of sensitivity but has the most intense emotions, more cognitively empathetic than somatic, more stubborn and prideful than the other water Moons, definitely holds on to bitterness if not resolved, bad apples may be out to get you

I think you summed it up PERFECTLY.
This is more or less what I was coming here to write.

Although I will add that lots of cuddles and TLC can fix a hurt Cancer moon, along with some well-placed humour. Once you've got them laughing they're out of their shell.
A sweet (genuine) gesture can make a Pisces moon believe in you (and "US") again. They're also more likely to forgive you sooner if you confess the why's of it. Once they know why, usually, they can empathize.
As for the Scorp moon - depends on your equation, but nothing short of absolute contrition and the ability to stay calm & loyal while you're on probation (you will be if they're trying to forgive you).

Yay, another "sensitive water moon" thread!

I think it depends, to a large extent, on the sun sign. Or at least, our outside perception is going to be colored by the sun sign.

i agree, as a pisces moon to know the 'whys' are key for me to move on otherwise it's extremly hard.

Moon in Cancer - This is the most volatile of the water moons. They can just snap and go off without provocation, just because they're in a bad mood. They say Scorpio is the most dangerous of the water signs. Maybe...however this sign will attack, stir up drama, and get in your face.

Irony: Moon is domiciled in Cancer, and Moon is feminine. However, I believe this is a tough moon sign placement generally. Women with this moon, I've noticed, get a lot of hate from other women.

Moon in Scorpio - Moody, but unlike a lunar Cancer who will lash out at their environment, they will go into an icy silence. However, when lunar Scorpio gets like this they'd like for you to try and reach out to them, even if they will ignore you. They need the effect of shutting people out. Leave them alone their silence may turn into a rage...if you're close.

Moon in Pisces - Okay, what's the question? Sensitive as in the most easily hurt? Cancer moon will lash out. Scorpio will go into icy silence - for you to see it. Pisces moon will become reclusive, evasive.

My Pisces Moon agree with this, I really hate being all water, ASC, Sun and Moon, it gets me emotional to the worst level. Sensitive yeah definitely, I wonder if having Pisces Moon at 28 degrees maybe gets closer to being an Aries Moon, but my sensitive side says I'm all water.

Me too, 112%! My pisces moon get tried too easily. As I get older it does get a bit easier to navigate, but my sensitivity is off the charts...I do know a Scorpio moon or two and I agree with them plotting....as a Pisces moon, revenge is not in my vocabulary. I wish I weren't so damn nice!!!!!!!

I'm not sure. I am Cancer moon and my daughter is Pisces moon. I feel like I am more emotional and she is more sensitive.

But I also have Moon square Pluto, so emotions are always intense for me.

I am seeing a nice gentleman who has moon in cancer. He is extremely sensitive...but I was surprised how confrontational he is and very opinionated. I notice he is moody and when he is moody he isn't very nice (he isn't rude). He hasn't ever snapped at me but I can sense he is very brooding and I feel it very much.
I am so happy I wasn't born with a water moon (no offense lol).

I think Cancer moon is pretty tough for a male. Even Pisces or Scorpio moon would be easier

Naaah, Souls, you just need to wear track shoes all the time.

Take it from a heavy water moon guy who has great friends with Sag Moons. No doubt my Sag Venus helps tolerate more of your blunt truths than what others might be able to tolerate.

Btw, are you not a firehead, as opposed to an airhead? Air bubbled through a wet moon ain't all that dangerous.

The only place your off-the-ceiling remarks might get you in big trouble is in the bedroom. Best advice there is to gag yourself before turning out the lights.

Boy I feel for you LOL My dad and brother are both Cancer Moons!!! HOLY MOODY!

When they are good they are good. But when they are in a bad moon-watch out!

I'm a water moon (Pisces) its not so bad! I've learned to navigate and grow a thicker skin and stronger sense of boundaries. And it feels good to do that yet at the same time, keep my compassionate and sweet nature.....

I think it really depends on the amount of water in one's chart. I think a water Moon with lots of air would be better off than someone with five planets in water or in water houses. I have five planets in water, 3 in Cancer, Moon in Pisces, and a Scorpio Pluto all in water houses except for my Cancer Sun and am very sensitive. I'm not sure there would be an obvious difference if my Moon was switched to Cancer or Scorpio. I think I would still be a watery mess either way, haha.

In general, I would say each water sign has their own strengths and weaknesses and will show them in slightly different ways depending on the situation.

Well I get along just fine with moon in Sag..

I have moon in Pisces but sag is my strongest sign in my chart and my strongest element is fire.

Anyways one of my favorite clients is a sun libra, moon in sag with pisces rising. If she was not my client I would be close friends with her, we really click.

My coworker is a cap sun with moon in sag and venus in pisces and she has been trying to be close friends with me from the start and we click but I have kept my distance..

I have a Pisces stellium (Pisces sun, moon, mercury) all conjunct by 0-1'. However it's all in my eighth house. So while I am sensitive, I don't openly show it. I like to process my emotions alone.

On the flip side, I don't cry at the drop of a hat. I'm not someone who takes something little someone says to me and reacts to it. Im actually a very easy going person. Not much gets to me unless it's an obvious blatant "attack" on me. I'm tough emotionally and I can put a good wall up to block out my feelings if I have to.

However, if we are talking about how I react to other people's pain, that's a different story. I get embarrassed because my eyes start watering up when someone tells me something sad about them. Yesterday, my friend talked about going to the hospital a few days ago due to an allergic reaction where she couldn't breathe and I had to casually wipe away a tear because my eyes started watering. It's very embarrassing lol.

I can't watch the news. When I do I just lose faith in humanity. I want to save the world and help all the people and animals that are in pain and it's a painful feeling that I can't. (My eyes are watery right now thinking about all of this).
