This Leo/Aqua eclipse cycle will finish up in August, with a Lunar Eclipse August 7 at 15 Leo (tightly conjunct my Vertex) and a solar eclipse August 21 at 28 Leo.

Juno will have entered Capricorn; will be at 2 degrees of Capricorn, after such a long sojourn through Scorpio this last year and then a shorter jaunt through Sagittarius (now accompanying Saturn. I like this conjunction... bare essentials of relating, real nitty gritty stuff... but with that Sagittarius flare. We actually have the Saturn-Juno conjunction in composite in Sag too. Hmm).

Ceres will be at 1 Taurus, i think she's about to leave her retrograde shadow (?) and will be trine Juno for the Eclipse.

I'm personally very interested in Ceres Juno contacts, I think their working together is a really good thing for the world in general and something I know is highlighted in my personal relationships. That complementary energy between nurturing and judicious balance/equality... very nice indeed, a nice little assist for this overall very gentle/effective lunation (so different from those we've been living through lately!).

Somebody in another thread was making note of how relationships have this all or nothing quality about them these days (well that was back in September i guess that those posts were being made and at that time the energy was definitely feeling that way, although i feel now that the relationships which are meant to stay in my life has more or less made themselves known as such and the Jupiter-Uranus opposition is now demanding flexibility and respect for independence as the main prerequisite for harmony in relating with others...)..

Anyway i can tell that in my current most compelling relationship (same one I've been learning with/experiencing this past year), we are somehow meant to keep working it out, but are perhaps past that all or nothing stage and just in the state of "well, no matter what our status is as relationship, it seems like here we are still interacting and feeling this closeness and maybe a healthier version of dependence (we shall see...).

Our composite Ascendant/Descendant axis is Aquarius/Leo 22'55. This eclipse will be tightly conjunct this axis, and is to occur shortly after our composite/Davison solar return(s) (which occur the same day his progressed Venus is conjunct my natal Chiron exact and just a few days after Pluto squares my Venus exact--an aspect which is echoed in our composite/Davison charts. Venus-Chiron are also trine).

Transiting Mercury will have reached our composite Sun by that eclipse (well our Sun is 6 Aqua, Mercury will be at 5 degrees Aqua).

I can tell that big developments are unfolding for us; we have reached a point of mutual respect and stability as friends, and so trust is deepening and holistic appreciation of one another just as we are (flaws and all) is occurring in a much more easeful way. Because... well I guess being friends takes a lot of pressure off. I'm nervous because there has definitely been a lot of pain and I'm pretty aware of his issues now, but also really know how to navigate them at least a little better so I don't get hurt (this mostly involves taking really good care of myself and getting deeply in touch with my own self worth)... although it seems that in this life being hurt a little is unavoidable.. it does lead to growth and learning etc etc. Still--It's so hard!

Anyway looking forward to seeing what this eclipse will bring... it's so tightly conjunct our composite Ascendant/Descendant... at what feels like a pivotal time.

My Sun (and Mercury) are at 25 Sag. So yes I suppose I feel it somewhat.

However the august lunar eclipse will be conjunct my Moon within 2 degrees and the solar eclipse will be exact on my true BML and 4 degrees of mean BML.

For the Feb 11 eclipse, my progressed composite Moon with my ex is at 22'20 Aqua and our progressed composite AC/DC is at 24 Aqua/Leo....that Moon is in the 12th house and will be hit tightly by the eclipse....and the February 26 eclipse will be right on his Juno (1 degree) with TVenus on his Sun (0)---I wonder if the way it will unfold for him might be that our relatiomnship fully and clearly ends with the Feb 11 eclipse, and he gets serious with someone else on the Feb 26 one? It will play out a lot differently for me, with the Feb 11 eclipse hitting me much more tightly, right on my Sun....the Feb 26 eclipse just conjoins my Ceres (3).

My daughter's natal chart doesn't seem to get hit too intensely with the Feb 11 eclipse (of course, I look most closely at conjunctions, so maybe miss a lot)....but her composite Juno with her dad is at 22'45 Aqua and their progressed composite Venus is at 25 Leo....her composite Mars with me is at 22'22 Leo, progressed composite Juno at 21 Aqua...I wonder if for her it will be about some reshuffling/reconfiguring of her parent's relationship? I crave motion more than inertia with that, maybe I'll get it.

The Feb 26 eclipse will be opposite my daughter's Sun (1), conjunct her Chiron (3). So I think she'll feel the energies of that one most, I'll feel the Feb 11 one.

I really hope this eclipse is positive since the last time an eclipse hit my moon (2009 I think) I went through a bad break up. We got back together later, but it was the longest we've ever been apart.

That's exciting! I don't think I've ever had an IRL friend with their Moon conjunct my Sun--it would be wonderful.

The eclipses in 2009 were kind to me. The one on my Sun, I wrote something I really loved (I'm a writer), and in my journal from that time, there's just a lot about feeling really LUCKY and having fun. There was an eclipse later that year right on my 29 Cancer Venus, and it was about creating a life that was emotionally fulfilling for me. it's so interesting to look at my journals from that time--I was living such an UNCOMPROMISING life, really doing what I wanted to do and not letting anything stop me, not settling for mediocrity or less than what I wanted, even though there are always societal and familial and often even internalized pressures on most of us humans to do that. I didn't have anything in my daily life that wasn't exactly what *I* wanted to do and when *i wanted to do it.

Now, as the single mother of a little girl--whose dad can't/won't really collaborate in creating something spectacular and shiny and fun and fit for a Leo--I haven't yet found creative ways to live a life that's not about unhappy compromise, resignation, lowered expectations, and "settling." I think if I could just get creative--which is what Leo Sun is born to do--a life with my wonderful child in it could be even happier than the life I had in 2009-----but because of my situation, the pressures on me from EVERYWHERE are rough.

In order to be in that place and life I found in 2009, I had to shake off and defy a lot of pressures to settle for something more compromising, more of a slog and more mediocre than what I wanted. Once I did that, I felt like the universe was almost *attacking* me with good fortune. But I don't know in this situation exactly what shaking off and defying those pressures might mean. My Mercury is at 19 Leo, Sun 21 Leo, so that 2009 eclipse fell right between them and closely conjoined both. This Feb 11 2017 eclipse, more between 22 and 23 Leo, will interact much more intensely with my Chiron at 24 Aries opposite my Uranus at 24 Libra probably--I expect it to bring insights related to my Uranus opposition/"midlife crisis transit."

Bananaz, what house is your Moon in? I imagine this eclipse will bring up issues connected to your Leo/Aqua house axis.

One eclipse (in Scorpio, squaring my Sun) that I expected to be awful for me was really wonderful.

Now the SOLAR eclipse on Feb 26 is a time for beginnings and will culminate with a Lunar in Aug and then a new begining with another SOLAR eclipse in Aug as well.

Re the Feb 26 eclipse at 8 Aqua, I noticed that my progressed Moon is at 7 Aqua in the 12th house---hope that one won't be something I don't like and don't want. EDITED, duh, actually the eclipse is at 8 Pisces!!! I need some sleep

That's great. I think that lucky, uncompromising feeling goes hand in hand with Leo energy.

I have the moon/sun conjunction with my daughter with her moon on my sun. She's only 6 months old, but I already feel a strong connection. I love it

My moon is in the 5th. I'm also a writer. Trying to motivate myself to publish more books this year, and faster, so maybe those issues will come up. The 2016 eclipses were awful, so I'm really nervous. I do get the sense that these ones may turn out better, like the article mentions that sense of magic, but the eclipses always have a way of shocking me. So we'll see. Wish fulfillment would be nice right?
