I'd say mars in 1st house because it represents you, while 7th house represents others. So mars in 7th house could mean mars aggression coming from the othersIP: Logged |

Depends what they're fighting over.It can also depend on whether the 7H Mars gets along with partners and associates, or if thrives on conflict with them...and also whether a 1H Mars can be affected by said partners and associates, something that isn't likely to matter to a 1H Mars. If the 7H Mars can cut the 1H off (even if it's with "you're fired") the 1H Mars isn't likely to care. However, if a 1H Mars is actually causing distress to a 7H Mars partner then watch out (even if the 7H Mars also routinely distresses the same person), the 7H Mars can be a pit bull in this case that the 1H Mars isn't likely to be prepared for. Theoretically, they could both win. One possible bad manifestation of the 7H placement is to stir up drama and conflict to make the relationship more exciting. So if a 7H Mars likes a 1H Mars then the 7H Mars may "pull the pigtails" to get a reaction, the 1H providing all the conflict the 7H could desire (and then some), and then the makeup sex follows as they get a room. A first house Mars, simply because the 7th house Mars is too focused on others and the fact that the first house Mars could easily walk away from someone without caring is what makes them win. A first house Mars is eventually going to get sick of dealing with someone who thrives on arguments, and if they walk away from it all, the 7th house Mars is ultimately going to end up losing due to the fact that they thrive on others. The idea of Mars in the first not caring is going to aggravate the 7th house Mars and cause them inevitable frustration and anger. If they don't get the response they want from someone else, they will get frustrated. A first house Mars could care less, it's about the self. ------------------ Scorpio Ascendant Aquarius Sun in 4th Gemini Moon in 8th Check out my blog ya'll: www.electrodgxtalks.wordpress.com IP: Logged |

Very interesting! I was also assuming Mars in 1st because it is most like the Mars in Aries (where it fits perfectly).IP: Logged |

I have Mars in 1H, in Pisces. I win every fight... then I feel horrible about it and apologise. But in a fight, the gloves are off.IP: Logged |

Depends, really depends, on the signs, on the aspects, on the condition of their rulers and also on the individual( are they comfortable with their Martian energy, or do they deny it ? ).IP: Logged |

I have Mars in the 7th and I personally think it's a bit underestimated. Mars in the 1st is about challenging yourself and Mars in the 7th is about challenging other people. So, I actually think the 7th House Mars person is better at fighting because we know exactly how to push people's buttons and don't really care about butting heads with someone one-on-one. When I rectified my chart, I've realized this makes such sense because I've always been so confrontational with people, regarding my problems with them. But, that's not something you'd really know unless you were good friends with me or something. Mars in the 1st is more so about having your buttons pushed. They know how to strike more immediately and directly. But, since it's so impulsive, there is a very short fuse there. Meaning the fight may come quickly and end just as quickly. The fact that they can push back so instinctively can work in their favor but in a very in-the-moment way. Meanwhile, the Mars in the 7th House person can argue and argue until the other person gives up because it's about the other's response and getting things back to equilibrium. We're very good at making it seem like we're compromising with you but, in the end and in the long-term, we've won. And we can be very headstrong about feeling like we have that subtle upper hand in the relationship. Basically, I think Mars in the 1st wins the battle but Mars in the 7th wins the war. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

That's an interesting dichotomy . So Mars overpowers the sign in this instance IP: Logged |
