It is an interesting conjunction because it makes one value harmony and want to go after what they want in relationships. My sister has this conjunction in Gemini, and it really shows. She's rather talktative about people she likes and is rather playful about it.

If Venus rules the 2nd house, Mars conjunct will burn through the pocket and have one spend a lot of money i.e retail therapy, shopping for fun, the rush of getting a "new" item etc.

If Venus rules the 5th house, there may be artistic abilities present and expressed in a very "heart on your sleeve" way.

These may be concert enthusiasts and theater loving types who want to see the action "close up" and maybe even be a part of it.

If Venus rules the 8th, this could be a daredevil or someone who likes to explore the mysteries of life from a "doing" point of view i.e ghost hunters or alien investigators who go to explore said places where these things are said to occur.

Think of Mars as a planet that wants things to happen NOW. And they don't want to "read" about it but experience it for themselves. It is very much a "doing" planet in essence.
