ho do you see the upcoming retrograde venus ?

i am really upset that venus retrograding in pisces and will form a square to transiting saturn in saggitarius lessening the effect of adonizing and soothing swimming venus in pisces.

When does it start?

Such a bummer! Had no idea venus was soon gonna be retrograde..I've just started liking someone after years!

Does anybody have any idea how this will affect new relationships?

Does anybody actually want to build a relationship
without deep reflection and answering to the values of each person? This retrograde gives us an opportunity to do that. If it wasn't going to be good for either or both parties, wouldn't you want to know? If there is an opportunity to express your feelings and get in touch with your values and see how they sound off with one another, I recommend taking it. I am so grateful for Venus' retrograde in 2015, because I ended a relationship which truly was no good for me during that retrograde and it opened me up to the one that was really going to move me and get me in touch with my deeper value systems..

And Venus square Saturn.. really I understand why it feels like a bumner but this by no means needs to be a permanent damper on things or anything to bemoan. Venus in Pisces is still Venus in Pisces... but with Saturn creativity blossoms in a concrete real world way. I made a painting the other day, with Venus applying to square Saturn, rather than just dreaming about it... and the things I'm laying down in terms of creative endeavors and financial planning and relationship stuff are things which will benefit me long term (Saturn).

A few fundamental things to remember about astrology:

Squares aren't bad - they force action/create conditions of tension/propel things on towards fruition/disintegration and create conditions where things are going to be expressed!

Saturn isn't bad - it creates conditions for the actual realization of our true needs in the real world, and the transmutation of our heavy karmic baggage into gold through dharma/good work/real action in the world. This is not always easy and sometimes takes devious paths.

Trines aren't always good- they can make things too easy, so that people get away with devious things and then a square or a Saturn or something hard has to come in and say look, you got away with this and you got really far with this and now you need to retrace all that ground you skipped over with this weight of knowledge on your back. Type thing. Just for example.

Retrograde does not = bad... retrograde does not spoil the party. Retrograde deepens our understanding and gets us in touch with the inner workings and real consequences and meanings of planetary energies. A retrograde Venus can be a beautiful time for people who, when they were walking in the shadow, kept their eyes open and were careful and diligent in laying seeds of compassionate awareness and staying in tune with theirvalues.

And it's benevolent in that if we missed something, we have the chance during the Rx to find out what that is and examine it from another angle.

Fact is, the universe is very complex and ultimately beneficent... if we work with the energies at play with grace and acceptance, things will go much smoother.
