What can indicate in the natal chart or maybe synastry if someone has a strong influence on a person and having that person looking up to you? For example, if venus is in the same sign as the moon of the other between two platonic friends can that make the venus person look up to and be kinda influenced by the behavior of the moon person since venus is what we usually find beautiful and also personality traits we might find admiring? And a question for women, is your venus the woman you want to be ? IP: Logged |

That's interesting. Yes, my friend whose Sag moon is conjunct my Venus had a huge influence on me growing up. I've said this many times to many people, without mentioning astrology. I would be a much different person without her.IP: Logged |

In composite plutonic themes such as a pluto stellium or a stellium in the 8H I feel can indicate this specially if reinforced by transit and synastry the plutonic theme.Like I met my partner when Transit Pluto was squaring my SUN exact. Pluto was transiting his 8H and squaring his Jupiter and Juno in the 5H, the square from Pluto to his Juno was exact. Our relationship is definitely plutonic and we have had our dark times in our relationship and have come out of it stronger and in spite of the dark times have stayed together and worked through it. I will add we both have juno in aspect to saturn in our natal which people with that don't tend to divorce for better or for worse, it really glues you. Pluto is all or nothing too so sometimes it manifests by you sticking through it all and not giving up or letting go once you commit. In composite we have an 8H stellium involving our 8H ruler Mercury and the natural personal 8H ruler Mars (sun conjuncts Mercury and Mars in the 8H). We also have a Karma, Union, and Destinn conjunction stellium in the 8H that was squared by transit Pluto when we met in our composite. ^^ He has had a strong influence over my mind and helping me see the truth etc.... ---------------- With my Ex We have a Sun-Mars-Pluto-Valentine stellium in the 1H, Saturn on our AC and Venus in the 12H ruled our chart which was part of a Love T-square since we have Venus opposite Moon in the 5H squared by Neptune conjunct Spirit and Kaali. Our synastry also involved Pluto aspects and some cool Love yods plus our moons conjuncted and paralled and we had lots of venus to mars soft aspects.
Pluto is power and transformation so it leads to making it hard to react in a detached manner to that person and if you form a bond with them it typically leads to transformation which only happens bc that person has a strong influence over you. ^^ I learned about the power of love and attachment but also about its dark side and how it can lead to obsession.

How about somebody's Jupiter aspecting favourably (no square or oppositions, sextiles are too weak) another's planets? Jupiter being the person to look up to, to admire. IP: Logged |

I think i read once that yeah jupiter can influence the inner planet person. But between me and my friend we have lots of jupiter conjunctions and she is the jupiter person but in our case it`s the opposite, i am the one that tends to influence her a lot. But she has a way of getting me to help her out with her problems though. But do you think maybe sun opposite moon might be indicative of one looking up to the other and wanting to be like them? because her moon is opposite my sun too. IP: Logged |

Hmmm.. still thinking along the lines of Jupiter as guru.. any chance you two have a 9th house strong synastry? If not by house overlay, then by ruler maybe? What are your 9H ruler? See if that makes any aspects to her chart. But you said there's Pluto square Venus between you. And she's Pluto. Could the girl simply be jealous of you? Any of her planets in your 1H/around Asc? Again, aspects to your ruler (this time your chart/Asc ruler)? Her Venus is already loving your emotional nature (Moon), maybe its into other planets too?

But I think the way you described it..no, it's not a Jupiter theme. Something else. More like Pluto (a bit obsessed)IP: Logged |

@headinthecloudsMy friend and I remain different in so many ways. But she has affected my temperament. When I was young, my friends were the misfits, I was mouthy and always in trouble. She was the first wholesome, smart, non-dysfunctional person to befriend me (age 9). Over the years I would watch how she held her fire and always gave people a chance. I would fall into drama and regret what I had said while she came out unscathed from taking the high road and being more detached. I couldn't help wanting that. Sometimes people have said to me over the years, "You're so nice" and I have to give credit where it's due and say I was an apprentice to someone else. IP: Logged |

@headinthecloudsWait if you are talking about looking up to someone and admiration I would think Neptune would play a role in the synastry and or composite of the two... Also perhaps Sun to Venus aspects bc they create this adoration feeling add some neptune in there and you are putting someone up in a pedestal. IP: Logged |

Right off the hop, aspects to (or from!) the angles, including the vertex, are going to be powerfully felt and affecting. Especially outer planets to angles can produce a tremendous effect even in a short amount of time interacting. Sun/Moon midpoint to angles can be extremely affecting, I've personally noticed that when somebody's Ascendant/Descendant axis contacts somebody else's Sun/Moon midpoint that person is often incredibly attracted to the ascendant person. but Sun/Moon midpoint to anything is likely to be keenly felt. It really depends on the whole makeup of the chart and synastry obviously... but you can usually see, OK, this Pluto-Sun double whammy or this Saturn-Ascendant connection is going to be important. There are many different ways we can influence each other and have an impact, and so the astrological measurements are equally variable... IP: Logged |
