I have a friend with Libra Rising and Mars in the first house, and she gets her hair dyed all the time. Right now, she has it died (bleaching kills your hair) a bright blonde, but naturally her hair is blonde, just darker (not dirty blonde). My Mom is an Aries Rising conjunct Sun and Mercury and when she was younger she had really red hair, but as she has gotten older it has darkened significantly. There are still red undertones but they aren't as visible. I have Scorpio Rising conjunct Mars, and my hair is a dirty blonde color. My Libra Rising friend is urging me to get it dyed black, saying that I would be a lot more attractive and that my natural hair color is just meh. I used to desire blonde hair but now I feel like having blonde hair would clash with my personality. Actually, it's ALL the colors that I had in stages growing up! I was born bright auburn. Then it was super blonde and then camel/sand colored. Now it's a mix. IP: Logged

But I don't see how it would affect color (which is based on genetics and environment). Though interesting enough I'm strawberry blonde (with some individual hairs very blonde or downright red, and lighting also affects what color it looks like), and I've wondered if that might be influenced by 2 major stelliums...though more likely that's the result of coming from a family of many blonds (as my mom) and another of many red heads (as my dad). I also wonder if I'd avoided the sun (as my mother did as a child) if my hair would've been paler like hers (which was unusual even in our blond family, but it was also unusual to avoid the sun as she did). I did color my hair many different colors for awhile (late teens to early 20s), but I think that was my 5H Sag (including Mars-Uranus) at work rather than ASC. And I did outgrow it. IP: Logged

I recently went blue - I'm in my 30s and have a responsible job but decided that if someone wants to disrespect me because of my hair, then that's their issue. It looked fab My ex has Scorpio rising and I'd agree with the description of it being like a helmet - he even cut it in quite a militaristic way (but then he has Aries sun, too). Interestingly, his dad and brothers all lost their hair at a young age - his is still as thick as it's ever been, and only just gathering an occasional grey. IP: Logged

I don't really know what I'm doing with it. All I know is, I am very anti-hair loss and take measures to ensure thick hair, every day. Also I just ran out of my shiny-hair conditioner and the new stuff I tried does not put enough shine in my hair. I would shellac it with this CHI spray I've got, but that smells sorta like a cross between Lysol and baby powder. I'll just take the dull hair for now... IP: Logged

I naturally have curly/wavy dark brown almost black hair, it used to be very thick but medical issues have thinned it out to normal. I have thinish hair now, but I have a lot of it. It's long. My hair is naturally deep dark brown but I dye it every 6 months or a year. I've dyed it purple, blue, pink, red, green, ashy brown, etc. The only color I haven't tried yet is platinum blond. I want to say dark auburn, but I don't think my hair has enough red naturally. If I spend a goodly amount of time outside, the red comes out even more along with some blonde streaks. Now and then, if I have the time and patience, I use a red henna. I like how it makes the grey look like copper wire. IP: Logged

When i was a toddler it was dark blonde and naturally progressed to a medium brown. I noticed that everytime i dye it black, it just wont stay for very long even if its salon treated. As a child it used to be very curly but I had to cut it cause I wouldn't cooperate with my mom trying to brush it and now it's just kinda wavy. I never style it because it does whatever it wants so there's no point. Also - this might sound weird - there's a strand of hair on the top of my head that doesn't fall on the right or the left side, it just drops in front of my face and I always have to push it aside. I'm wondering if this is Aquarius related since the strand of hair doesn't want to conform and go with the rest...or something lol. Oh and I remember reading somewhere that bald spots are related to Saturn...I've got a little one and Saturn conjuncts my ascendant from the 12th. IP: Logged

I find it interesting because I have a cap/saturn dominated chart and my coloring is cool/wintry - coal black straight hair, greyish dark eyes , pale skin, blue veins. Most of my family members who have a lot of water and fire. They have warm coloring - curly hair with reddish cast, tan/bronze skin, rosy cheeks, warm light brown eyes). Cap asc. I like to henna my hair. It gives a slight red tint. IP: Logged

It made my eyebrows bright as hell though.
