Which signs are they in and how do the 2 energies express themselves in your personality?Mine are in Cancer and although I relate to all the descriptions of Venus in Cancer, only 15-20% of Mars in Cancer descriptions accurately describe my personality. I believe I act more like an Aries Mars ... I'm still trying to find 1st-House Venus traits in my character lol My Cancer Venus & Mars both form a 0-0'18 degree orb to each other and a 5 degree orb to my Ascendant. ------------------

With placements like this it's very important to observe how all parts of the configuration merge.Since it's in the first house (house of Aries) Mars is definitely ruling the roost. It's no wonder you consider yourself to have Aries-like qualities - it probably rubs off on your Venus too. There's a power dynamic between the planets that overrules the simple sign traits. The personality of your planets may still be Cancer in essence but their behavior is probably forward, direct and even aggressive at times. If the conjunction was on your IC (or even DSC) you would embody the Cancer qualities and your Venus would be the stronger planet. And your chart ruler is also in a fire sign (much like your other planets). People can guess you're a fire dominant even without looking at your whole chart. With some water slashed in there too. Hello Leocancer98! Very interesting, I have my mars conjunct the ascendant in the first house too ! both in cancer!
