The Sun is the one celestial body that is constant pure living energy. It is bright, vibrant, spontaneous, all-knowing, and what's best- it is all things conscious. When you live out your Sun you will be receptive to everything and anything, you are more in touch with your body as a whole and can make breathtaking feats. You are living for you, yes, but you are doing it in a way where you can influence your environment to your best advantage. You are more in control. Men especially, should follow there Sun, this is what makes men - men. Be brave and express yourself. If you are not expressing yourself you can't live out your Sun, and you can't be conscious of all the glory it brings. The Sun is the king and out of all the stars in the sky he wants nothing but the best for you. He wants you to be you. This is when you feel "alive". Women tend to follow their moon but this is because in my opinion it's their way of nurturing the world, yes some women can be extremely passionate and most are, but they are not a man, and designed to express it in a refined way (Venus). A man following his moon (emotions, past, family, beginnings, roots) may make him more susceptible to the hard knocks in life, even with a trine. It is expected not only of society but the universe for men to follow their spirit. This is why we have Saturn (the teacher), Jupiter (reward), Uranus (individuality) and Neptune (creativity). When in touch with yourself, you can feel these planets at all times working. This will "awaken" you lol Sun/Jupiter - Aware of religion, adventure, freedom, truth, expansion, luck, risk Sun/Uranus - Aware of sudden changes, your liberation (What America was founded on), humanitarian nature, political/global issues Sun/Saturn - Aware of mistakes, dedication, your higher ambition (10th house), flaws, practicality Sun/Mars - Aware of the fire in you - it works a lot like a Sun-Ascendant aspect. Can use your adrenaline, physical body in a more productive manner. Sun/Pluto - Aware of your animal inside, the thug in you, your sexual power, your raw power, your ability to control, your dark side Sun/Neptune - Aware of your empathy, and your need to escape. Aware of your creative tendencies, compassion, and higher spirituality, one reason why so many do drugs. IP: Logged |

I think sun conjunct saturn is very aware they have to work hard to succeed and that nothing comes easy, they are not afraid of hard work and have the stamina for it, they are realists but sometimes can be pessimistic. Great thread Radium, good job. IP: Logged |

@Radium well since you are a pisces having sun conjunct saturn may manifest differently like your hard working spirit may come into effect when it comes to your passion for music and aspirations as a musician or other Pisces theme things or perhaps you won't own your saturn and choose to escape but Saturn won't like that. I feel as you get older you will use that saturn need for structure and that saturn work ethic and discipline to serve Pisces aspirations like your desire to became a musician as a career. Why not? It can be done. I will use Madonna as an example, I believe she was homeless before she became famous. I have a close friend from childhood who is a jazz musician, for years he will just do gigs at clubs in the Dominican Republic but eventually his hard work paid of and he was discovered it seems and now he is traveling the world playing his music. I am not saying he is super famous but he is truly happy bc he is doing what he loves and is getting some recognition for it; he has sun in aries opposite saturn in libra! I feel he was rewarded as a musician for his hard work, diligence and pursuing his dreams after his 30s, he is 34 right now. IP: Logged |

There were a lot of entertainers that were homeless in life. Doesn't make it it any better to go through, although I have made choices that have gotten me in this situation, and don't regret them, it still doesn't make it any more appealing. It makes you really appreciate stability. (I have Sun conjunct Saturn in 4th) I know this is me living out my Sun, because I surely feel more in control of my life. I would say this has made me extremely self-aware to the others, sometimes too much so. I may just start gigging solo instead of jamming with a band, because people aren't as reliable/motivated/talented as they were in the 1990s. One reason why there aren't many big rockbands anymore, no one has time anymore. Everyone is too busy trying to protect what they already own. Maybe i just need to play with different people but I've played around enough to know I can smoke most of these professional "musicians" who went and got a degree for it. They have no rhythm, no energy, just technique. **** that. I want to rock n' roll. IP: Logged |
