This year's Eurovision will be celebrated in May in Kiev (Ukraine). Whether you live in Europe or you are just a fan of it, do you listen to the songs? Which is your favourite song or songs from your country this year? (From yours or/and from another one). I'm from Spain, and from what I've heard my top 3 would be: 1. Maika - Momento crítico (very catchy):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssFtvDq5kpA 2. Leklein - Ouch! (same):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7J2tV9X-3Y 3. Manel Navarro - Do It For Your Lover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwS45HBhzTs The actual winning performer to represent Spain this year. I think the Italian song is pretty funny and refreshing too. So as to not leave the astrological topic, I would like to ask, is there any contestant with which you feel more affinity and do they share any planet sign/aspects with you? IP: Logged |

I'm a big Eurovision fan There's a lot of controversy around the winning spanish song at the moment. Many feel the competition wasn't fair due to judges favoritism and that Mirela should have won. Not that I like her song but performance was great. Navarro's song is not awful but it's not going to win at Eurovision so Spain missed their chance again in my opinion. I would like to look at contestants' charts but it's too early. At the moment we only have 10 songs selected (there are 43 countries participating this year). So we might want to wait a little longer. But remember last year? Jamala (the winner) had transiting Jupiter conjunct her Sun. So it's quite interesting to see who might do it this year, astrologically. And well, maybe we can share our favourite songs for now. I like France (Alma - Requiem) https://youtu.be/JtgM7laoukA and Tayanna - I love you (from Ukrainian selection) https://youtu.be/kd7TLtP7hqg IP: Logged |

Yes, I know :/. There were several details that made voting quite murky... Which seriously wasn't needed. I mean, there are rules, right?, and it's Eurovision! As if changing the candidate would magically make us win (which I doubt). Yep, I doubt the fairness of vote in this contest, but I'll leave that for another thread. After the judges and the audience voted, there was a tie between Mirela and Leklein. But judges decided that the winner would be Manel. The audience was really angry. I think some saction will be given to the channel. IP: Logged |

Let's do some charts when all songs are known (not long left). Can't wait I like this one now: https://youtu.be/2stjsoO0NfM because it's in hungarian, that gypsy dancer! and well, the whole number (very authentic performance). Eurovision changed so much in the last few years, majority of the songs are now in english. I wish countries still picked the songs in their language. It's just so wonderful to watch something that's authentic, you get a glimpse of their culture. IP: Logged |

I agree. I wish the Spanish entries were actually in Spanish. Nice song! It is very close to the gypsy culture in Spain. IP: Logged |

Tayanna is out she came second in national final. So maybe you really cannot win with Saturn conjunct Mars transit..(sigh)O.Torvald won the right to represent Ukraine https://youtu.be/2IzPrOp2VjU It's a band but I have checked the transits for the lead singer. He has this on 13 May: tr. Saturn trine Moon, Mercury and Venus tr. Jupiter opposite Moon (he won today with tr. Jupiter opposite all three - Moon, Mercury and Venus) tr. Uranus conjunct Moon, Mercury and Venus Now that looks more like winner transits to me. IP: Logged |
