hi. i have pisces ascendant and the upcoming ascedant is going to conjunct it. i have read its not a good omen. has neone had a solar eclipse conjunct ascendant? what happened? i'm a bit frightened because i had a lunar eclipse conjunct my natal sun and i had a mini stroke. it happened the day after my birthdday

Ouch... that was a brutal eclipse experience. I suspect it was a reminder to maintain and watch over your health better.

Eclipses only bring out whet is promised in the chart.
Maybe we can think of them as the point where you are accepted into a new class... you will learn in that class and it might be full of rapid revelations or it may be full of plodding and drudgery, but the class will change you forever regardless.

I read somewhere of the change taking 2 years for someone and the eclipses are supposed to be shorter than that... but the gist was that changes will happen and you will be seen differently because of it. It won't necessarily be bad but it is a kind of rite of passage into the next stage of your life that demands this change.

Your sun was a major part of your being (dunno more about your sun though) so I guess that's why your physical being was so affected. Now your Asc has more to do with image and whole self more or less, so you will see that change. At the end of the influence, your image to others as well as your self-image can be changed dramatically, especially if you put the work in to mold yourself positively.

The best advice is to spend time meditating and reflecting on who you are (keeping what you know of your natal chart and the destiny it offers you) and embrace the positive changes that are possible as they come. Accept your changes with grace and feel confident that this change is necessary in order to complete whatever tasks your soul chose for you for this incarnation. Keep your actions and intentions positive and it will help mold you more beautifully into what you are to become.

yeah. i'm libra sun in my 8th house. i got pluto, jupiter, saturn and sun there and pisces ascendant. i only realised how other people see me as a mirror of themselves. to be honest with you. i have no idea who i am. lol

A Solar eclipse is positive in nature because it is a New Moon. Check to see if either Node is conjunct a point, cusp, or planet.

I really hope you made it through that ok Dee??

I'm about to go into one too. I'm worried but maybe it's normal? I'm taking better care of me, hopefully that will help.
Anyone know what a Sol eclipse on an Asc can do?

She paints the Neptune portion beautifully but my ecl has me curious. I'm matching USA.
I also have much in my chart that does, I feel to connected. This is a strange upcoming ecl for me.

Solar eclipses on the ascendant are not necessarily bad omen.

From my experiences and observations, solar eclipses on the ascendant usually signal a new beginning. The person often has to reinvent him/herself, and become a different person. Either a big change in appearance, or a big change in thinking, a big change in how they usually view themselves and how others see them.

This may not be apparent right away, but may take a few months to show up.

I am in the works with subtle changes that might bring a whole new view of me once they are finished. This is my actions and appearance. Hopefully it will come across as a success. The great attractor gives me hope and less worry.
