So I am noticing a pattern with moon in Leo people. They seem to be the comedians who are always joking, full of energy and confidence, the wild child who never grows up. Has this been your experience too? and if not what were their moon placements and how were they like?

I have moon in leo, and have only ever met one other (that I know of).

Am I a wildchild? Probably not. But I am fiery and passionate, people say I'm funny and quick-witted, I make the jokes and take the jokes and I like to take the lead.

It warms up my aqua rising, for sure, but only once I've gotten to know someone.

The only other leo moon I'm aware of is my good friend (yes, him haha). He's very quiet - but has that kind of warm smile that lights up a face. When he gets past his natal sun-saturn-merc in scorpio barriers, he is warm and funny - confident and a great laugh.

I think he has a wildchild hidden beneath the scorp stellium, but I've yet to see it

Well in both cases you discussed your friend and you there is mention of good sense of humor, joking around and warmth which are all traits I am noticing about this moon sign

Definitely a warmth there - just harder to see in some than others do agree about the forever young and playful edge too!

My mother who is a Leo Moon conjunct the MC opposing her Aquarian Mercury/Mars conjunction, has always been pretty wild, but very responsible. She IS a Cappy Sun.

She's 68 with a chronic health issue, but is wicked funny and intelligent.

I'm a Leo moon, 1 degree, in my 10th house. I'm a jokester and love to make the people I like laugh. I don't feel like I'm full of energy, but I have a fair amount of confidence (it waivers due to my heavy Cap influence). I had to grow up fast, I was a mini adult and dealing with stress/trauma since I was born. I will always be a grown up haha, that's the Cap in me and my Cap IC.

I have moon opposite mercury (2), moon opposite mars (2), moon quincunx Jupiter (exact), moon opposite Uranus (2), moon opposite Neptune (6), moon trine Pluto (exact), moon square ascendant (7), moon conjunct MC (2).
I'm a very strong willed and passionate person. I'm an empath, and moon ruled. I care deeply and feel deeply. I sink into depression, and I'm more often than not melancholy. I do counsel others when they need emotional support and I can be a great motivating force for change.

My dad is a Leo moon, 26 degrees, in the 6th house. He has practically no energy, but he is definitely the rest of what you described. Like me, he is melancholy more often than not.

My personal trainer has a Leo moon and he is an overactive wild child who needs to be the best at everything. I really thought that he was on drugs when we first started working out that I even asked if he were on something but low and behold, that is just how he is. With my Leo ASC, venus, and mars, we laugh more than we workout. But I guess the laughing is how we get our abs.

Yes, except that they're very mature when they need to be. I've noticed how smart and grounded they are, but they're also hilarious. I notice that with Mars in fire signs, too, although I've always seen Leo as being similar to Capricorn (who don't get enough credit for their humour).

Cool your moon conjuncts exact my Eros.. Your dad's moon my Venus and Mars.

You know I dont feel I have a lot of energy either, I blame it on my sun square neptune by 2d and my Mars conjunct Venus trine neptune. Do either your father or you have sun and or Mars in aspect to neptune? Does your dad too have moon in aspect to neptune? I have always struggled with mood swings myself, I think is hard not to if you are an empath and I feel that is a Neptunian thing..

But God yes life is hard and some people don't even get to have a childhood like you! Is it possible to have pluto rule your chart and not experience abuse and trauma? Do we all experience it and it is just part of the human existence?? And if trauma is such an integral part of the human existence why the hell do I belief in a higher power?? Interesting that neptune rules both religion, spirituality and delusions! *What is up with that?

To better days! I am really starting to hate lunar and solar Eclipses!!

I once rode my bike with no hands and crashed. The laugh from my friends just fed my Leo Moon. Haha!

Also - this could be like the most happy-place thread for leo moons. Anyone else loving the ego boost for having a leo moon?

So meta!

This sounds terrifying! Bet they do an amazing trade tho - who wouldn't want to work hard and make a leo moon proud?

Mergoatsun - I have my leo moon at 2deg

Anyone else weirdly proud of having a leo moon?!

[Loving this thread so much hypatia!]

Hahahaha I have this compulsion to make Leo moons feel good but I honestly love you guys...

Your creativity, confidence/self-love, playfulness..

What I like about moon in Leo folks deep self love is that we live in a world were the norm is self-loathing or shame so when I see someone who can so casually exhibit deep love by being so comfortable in their own skin by how they behave, how much fun they let themselves have, how much they goof around and make jokes about how much they like themselves, it's actually inspiring and uplifts me. I would say is Revolutionary in a sense bc the norm is negative self talk.

It sends a message to others that says it's OK to love yourself the way you are, it's OK to accept yourself and fall in love a little with yourself, to celebrate yourself and feel good about yourself.

I feel moon in Leo shines bc self love comes more naturally to them and they teach others by been themselves to allow this energy into their lives too.

They are also very in touch with their inner child and help others get in touch with their own inner child.

A scorp I know have leo moon square her sun. Trine her sag mars. She can be impulsive at times. Not really wild ime. I don't see the child like trait in her, but there are others who do. Some have commented on it.

We had a falling out a while back. My jupiter conj her moon and my aries moon makes a grand trine with her moon and mars. The thing is that while I get her, she doesn't get me. It was fine for a long time, but then it got to the point where it wasn't anymore.

My children have leo moons conj venus/asc/jupiter. They hardly ever cry. Little bun-buns are all sparkly eyes and laughter.

I have Sun conjunct Neptune, and Mars conjunct Neptune.
My dad has Moon sextile Neptune, he has Sun square Neptune, and Mars opposite Neptune.

I believe Pluto does usually include trauma, but he also brings growth with that trauma, so all hope is not lost.

These couple of days have been rough, but it won't last forever.

Holy cannoli Stellia, I've never met or seen anyone with an early Leo moon degree like me! Yay moon conjunct moon! Our first couple of degrees makes us true Leo moon's haha.

I get an ego boost from having a Leo moon, this thread is giving me life. As soon as I see a new thread about Leo moons I flock to it. I'm very proud of my Leo moon, but it's not weird if you are, the placement is a really good one!

Also, yes, Hypatia you rock for this thread!

Do it hypatia :

Mergoatsun - me neither, in fact I've met very few over the years of any degree! Have a high five as you're sitting so close

I went out this morning for a 10-mile run with my Leo moon friend (his is at 23degree). It was really tough with lots of hills but neither of us would give up, and we got through it with playful humour.

And now, I feel proud that I didn't give up and let him down. Happy playful proud Leo moons on an adventure - what's not to love
